Action Wit Da Aposals 3:1-26
3 Peter an John wuz goin up into da tempo fo da aftanoon prayas dat happen at 3 o’clock.*
2 Same time, had one guy dat no could walk from birth an peopo wuz carrying him. Evry day, dey would put him nex to da tempo door dat wuz called Beautiful so dat he could beg fo money* from da guys goin inside da tempo.
3 Wen he seen Peter an John about fo go inside da tempo, he wen ask dem fo money.
4 But Peter an John look strait at him an sed: “Try look us.”
5 So he look dem real good, tinking he goin get someting from dem.
6 But Peter tell um: “I no moa money,* but wat I get I goin give you. Wit da powa from Jesus Christ da Naz·a·reneʹ, get up an walk!”
7 Den he grab da guy’s right hand an pull um up. Right den an dea, his feet an ankles get healed.
8 He jump up on his feet an start fo walk inside da tempo wit dem. He wuz walking an jumping an praising God.
9 An all da peopo see him walking an praising God.
10 Dey start fo recognize him az da guy dat would sit at da Beautiful Gate at da tempo an beg fo money. Had blow dea minds an dey no could believe wat wen happen to him.
11 Az da guy wuz still holding on to Peter an John, all da peopo wen run up to dem at da place dey call Solʹo·mon’s Colonnade,* an dey wuz all shock.
12 Wen Peter see dis, he tell da peopo: “You Israel guys, why you stay shock? An why you staring at us az if we da ones strong enuff fo do dis an can make him walk cuz we tight wit God?
13 Da God fo Abraham, an fo Isaac, an fo Jacob, da God fo oua ancestas, He wen make his Servant Jesus come awesome. Dass who you wen turn yoa back on an give to Pilate, even tho Pilate wuz goin let him go.
14 Yeah, you wen turn yoa back on dat guy dat wuz righteous an holy. Instead you wen ask Pilate fo let go one murderer,
15 an you killed da Chief Leada* of life. But God wen raise him up from da dead, an az one fact cuz we seen um.
16 An cuz of him an oua faith in him, dis guy you know an see wen get healed. Oua faith in him wen make dis guy come full on healty in front all you.
17 Braddahs, I know you guys neva know wat you wuz doin, jus like yoa rulas neva know.
18 But dis happen so dat evryting God sed befoa thru all da prophets would come tru, dat da Christ had fo suffa.
19 “Come sorry an change* so dat God can erase* yoa sins. Den Jehovah* himself goin make you come strong again
20 an he goin sen Jesus, da Christ he wen pick, fo help you guys.
21 He gotta wait in heaven til da time come fo fix evryting an make um all good again. Dass wat da prophets from befoa wen talk about.
22 Not ony dat, Moses sed: ‘Jehovah yoa God goin pick one prophet fo come from you guys, one prophet like me. You gotta lissen to wateva he tell you.
23 Anybody* who no lissen to dat Prophet, God goin wipe him out.’
24 Even all da prophets from Samuel on made um clear about dis time.
25 You da sons of da prophets an you in line fo get da blessings from da deal God made wit yoa ancestas, wen he told Abraham: ‘An thru yoa kids, all da families of da earth goin be blessed.’
26 Afta God wen pick his Servant, he sen him to you guys firs fo bless you, helping you turn away from doin bad tings.”
