18 Afta dat, Paul leave Athens an go Corinth.
2 He find one Jew dea named Aqʹui·la. He from Ponʹtus an had jus come from Italy wit his wife Pris·cilʹla, cuz Claudius wen orda all da Jews fo leave Rome. So he go to dem,
3 an cuz dey all do da same kine work making tents, he stay dea house an work wit dem.
4 He give one talk* in da synagog* evry sabbath* an would try convince da Jews an Greeks fo believe wat he tell.
5 Wen Silas an Timothy come down from Mac·e·doʹni·a, Paul wen start fo use all his time fo teach God’s message, making um clear to da Jews dat Jesus iz da Christ.
6 But afta dey keep goin agains him an talking stink about him, he shake da dus off his clothes* an sed to dem: “Yoa blood stay on yoa own head. Az not on me. From now on I goin talk to da peopo dass not Jews.”
7 So he go from da synagog to da house of one guy named Titius Justus, one guy dat worship God. His house stay nex to da synagog.
8 But Crisʹpus, da main leada of da synagog, an evrybody in his house wen come believas in da Lord. An plenny Corinthians dat wen hea da good news wen come believas an get baptize.
9 One night da Lord tell Paul in one vision: “No sked, keep on talking an no stop,
10 cuz I stay wit you an nobody goin attack you fo hurt you. Get plenny peopo in dis town dat goin believe in me.”
11 So he stay dea a year an a half, teaching God’s message to da peopo.
12 Wen Galʹli·o wuz govna of A·chaʹia, da Jews wen hui up an attack Paul an bring him to da chair wea dey judge peopo.
13 Dey say: “Dis guy trying fo get evrybody fo worship God in one way dat go agains da law.”
14 But wen Paul wuz about fo talk, Galʹli·o sed to da Jews: “If you come hea cuz dis guy wen do someting wrong or did one mayjah crime, make sense fo me hea wat you guys goin say.
15 But if you guys stay argue ova words an names an yoa own law, you guys gotta deal wit it. I no like judge dis kine stuff.”
16 Den he sen dem away from dea.
17 So dey grab Sosʹthe·nes, da leada of da synagog, an start fo buss um up in front da judge’s chair. But Galʹli·o neva like notting fo do wit dis.
18 Afta staying dea litto bit longa, Paul sed aloha to da braddahs an wen sail to Syria wit Pris·cilʹla an Aqʹui·la. He buzz his hair in Cenʹchre·ae cuz he wen make one promise to God.
19 So wen dey get to Ephʹe·sus, Aqʹui·la an Pris·cilʹla stay in da town, but Paul go inside da synagog fo help da Jews undastan da Scripchas.
20 Even tho dey wanted him fo stay longa, he neva.
21 He tell dem bye an sed: “I goin come back if dass wat Jehovah* like.” Den he get on one boat in Ephʹe·sus
22 an go down to Caes·a·reʹa. An he go up* fo visit da hui fo litto bit. Den he go down to Antioch.
23 Afta staying dea litto while, he leave an go from one place to anodda in Ga·laʹti·a an Phrygʹi·a, making all da followas come moa strong.
24 Had one Jew named A·polʹlos who wuz from Alexandria, an he come to Ephʹe·sus. He talk real good an know da Scripchas real good too.
25 Dis guy wen learn da teachings of Jehovah. An cuz of God’s powa he wuz goin all out fo tell an teach tings dass tru about Jesus. But he ony wen know da baptizum John wen talk about.
26 He neva hold back wen he talk in da synagog. Wen Pris·cilʹla an Aqʹui·la hea him talking, dey take him wit dem an wen explain God’s teachings to him so he could undastan um moa betta.
27 An cuz A·polʹlos wanted fo go A·chaʹia, da braddahs wen write to da followas ova dea telling dem fo show aloha wen he come. So wen A·polʹlos get dea, he wuz one big help to da guys dat wen come followas cuz of God’s unreal love.*
28 In front evrybody, he jus geev um fo show all kine proof dat wat da Jews teach wuz wrong, showing dem from da Scripchas dat Jesus iz da Christ.
