8 Afta dat, he wen go from town to town an village to village, telling da good news about God’s Govament. Da Twelve wuz wit him.
2 Even had some wahines dat wuz healed from demons an all kine healt problems. Had Mary, da one dey call Magʹda·lene, she had seven demons dat wen come outa her.
3 Had Jo·anʹna da wife of Chuʹza, da guy in charge of Herod’s house. An had Su·sanʹna an plenny odda wahines dat wuz taking kea dem wit da tings dey had.
4 Peopo from da diffren towns wen go to him an one big crowd had gadda togedda. Den he tell one story fo teach dem:
5 “One farma wen go out fo plant his seed. Wen he throw da seed, some of dem had fall on da road an peopo wen step all ova um, an da birds wen eat um up.
6 Some fall on da rock, den afta dey start fo grow, dey dry up cuz no moa watta.
7 Some of dem wen fall in da weeds, an da weeds dat wen grow wit dem choke um out.
8 But oddas fall on da good dirt, an afta dey start fo grow, dey make 100 times moa seeds.” Afta he say all dis, he tell real loud: “You guys dat get ears fo lissen, lissen up.”
9 But his guys ask him wat da story mean.
10 He tell: “God help you guys fo undastan da secrets about his Govament. But fo evrybody else, I ony goin teach dem wit stories, so dat even tho dey look dey not goin see, an even tho dey hea dey not goin undastan.
11 Dis wat da story mean: Da seed iz God’s message.
12 Da seeds dat fall on da road iz da guys dat wen hea da message, an den da Devil come an take away wat wuz planted inside dea hearts so dat dey no believe an get saved.
13 Da seeds dat fall on top da rock iz da guys dat lissen da message, an dey like wat dey hea, but dey no moa root. Dey believe fo litto bit, but wen tings come up dat tes dea faith, dey dig out.
14 An da seeds dat fall on da weeds, dey da ones dat hea da message, but let worries, money, an having one good time choke um out full on, an dey no grow up.
15 An da seeds dat wen fall on da good dirt, dass da guys dat afta dey hea da message wit one good heart, dey hold on to um an dey make moa seeds even wen az hahd.
16 “Afta you light one lamp, nobody cova um up or put um undaneat one bed, but you put um on one table so dat whoeva come in da house can see da light.
17 No moa notting dass hidden dat not goin be seen, an no moa notting dat stay cova up dat neva goin come out in da open.
18 So den, you gotta lissen real good, cuz whoeva undastan stuff, he goin undastan some moa. But whoeva undastan ony litto bit, even wat he tink he undastan, he goin lose.”
19 Jesus maddah an braddahs come fo see him, but dey no could get close to him cuz had plenny peopo.
20 Somebody tell um: “Yoa maddah an braddahs stay standing outside an dey like see you.”
21 But he tell dem: “My maddah an my braddahs iz dese guys dat hea God’s message an do um.”
22 One day Jesus an his guys wen get on one boat, an he sed to dem: “We go da odda side of da lake.” So dey go.
23 But on da way dea, Jesus go sleep. An had one mean storm wit hurricane kine winds on da lake, an dea boat wen fill up wit watta an wuz about fo sink.
24 So dey wen go wake him up an tell: “Teacha! Teacha! We goin mahke!” So he get up an scold da wind an da raging watta, an da storm wen stop an da watta come all glassy.
25 Den he sed to dem: “How come you no trus dat God can help us?” But dey wuz sked an no could believe wat wen happen, an dey tell each odda: “Who dis guy? Cuz he tell da wind an da waves wat fo do, an dey lissen him.”
26 Den dey come to da shore in da Gerʹa·sene land, across da Sea of Galʹi·lee.
27 Wen Jesus get outa da boat an go on land, one guy from da town dat one demon wen take ova go up to him. Fo long time dis guy been naked, an he neva live in one house, but he live in da graveyard.*
28 Wen he see Jesus, he yell real loud an go down on his knees in front him an sed: “Eh, Jesus, da Son of da Mos High God! Wat you hea fo? Brah, no punish me.”
29 (He say dis cuz Jesus been telling da demon fo come outa da guy. It wen take ova him plenny times.* Ova an ova peopo wen chain up his hands an feet, an somebody would guard um, but he snap da chains an da demon make um go places wea no moa nobody.)
30 Jesus ask um: “Wass yoa name?” He tell: “Legion,”* cuz had plenny demons inside him.
31 An dey keep begging him fo no sen um into da deep hole.*
32 Had plenny pigs eating ova dea on da side of da mountain. So da demons beg him fo let dem go in da pigs, an he let um go.
33 Den da demons wen come outa da guy an go in da pigs. An all da pigs wen run off da cliff an fall in da lake an drown.
34 But wen da pig farmas see wat happen, dey dig out an go tell evrybody in da town an all aroun dea about um.
35 Den all da peopo wen go look wat happen. Dey come to Jesus an find da guy dat da demons wen come out from. He wuz sitting wit Jesus an had clothes on an no wuz acking all nutz anymoa. An da peopo wen come sked.
36 All dose who had see dis tell da odda peopo about how da guy wit da demons wen come good.
37 Den plenny peopo from all aroun da Gerʹa·sene land wen ask Jesus fo go away from dea, cuz dey wuz supa sked. Den he go on da boat fo leave.
38 But da guy dat da demons wen come out from keep asking Jesus if he can go wit him, but Jesus sen him away an tell um:
39 “Go home, an tell oddas wat God wen do fo you.” So he go away, an tell evrybody all ova town wat Jesus wen do fo him.
40 Wen Jesus get back to Galʹi·lee all da peopo wen know he wuz coming an dey wuz happy fo see um.
41 Had one guy name Jaʹi·rus, one leada of da synagog,* dat wen come fo see him. An he go down by Jesus feet an start fo beg him fo come his house,
42 cuz his ony daughtah,* who wuz aroun 12 years old, wuz dying.
On da way dea, all da peopo wuz following Jesus an pushing agains him.
43 Had one lady dat had her ma‘i* fo 12 years, an nobody wuz able fo heal her.
44 She come behind Jesus an touch da edge* of his clothes, an right den an dea her ma‘i wen stop.
45 So Jesus sed: “Who wen touch me?” Wen evrybody tell no wuz dem, Peter sed: “Teacha, evrybody stay coming from all sides an pushing agains you.”
46 But Jesus sed: “I know somebody wen touch me, cuz I wen feel powa come outa me.”
47 Wen da wahine see dat Jesus know wuz her, she come sked an fall down in front him an tell evrybody how come she wen touch him an how she wen come good right away.
48 But he sed to her: “Sistah,* yoa faith wen heal you. Go, an no worry.”
49 He wuz still talking wen somebody from Jaʹi·rus house come an tell: “Yoa girl wen mahke. No bodda da Teacha anymoa.”
50 Wen he hea dis, Jesus tell Jaʹi·rus: “No need worry, have faith, an she goin be okay.”*
51 Wen he get to da house, he neva let anybody go inside wit him except Peter, John, James, an da girl’s maddah an faddah.
52 But evrybody dea wuz crying an beating dea ches cuz dey wuz sad. So he sed: “Stop crying, cuz she neva mahke, she ony sleeping.”
53 Dey tink he nutz an wen start fo laugh at him, cuz dey wen know she had mahke.
54 But he hold her hand an tell her: “Bebe girl, get up!”
55 An she wen come back to life,* an right away she get up. Den Jesus tell dem fo get her someting fo eat.
56 Her parents wuz supa happy, but Jesus sed fo no tell nobody wat wen happen.
