Wat Luke Wen Write 11:1-54
11 Had one time Jesus wuz praying. Wen he wuz pau, one of his guys sed to him: “Lord, teach us how fo pray jus like John wen teach his followas.”
2 So he sed to dem: “Weneva you pray, say: “Faddah, we like evrybody get plenny respeck fo yoa name. We like yoa Govament rule.
3 Give us oua food dat we need fo dis day.
4 An let us go fo da wrong tings we do, jus like we wen let go da guys dat wen do wrong tings to us. An help us no give in to da presha fo do someting bad.””
5 Den he tell dem: “Wat if one of you go yoa frenz house at midnight an ask um, “Brah, can borrow three loaf bread?
6 Cuz one of my frenz who stay traveling jus wen come my house an I no moa notting fo give um.”
7 But den he tell: “No bodda me. I wen lock da door, an me an my kids stay in bed awready. I no can get up fo give you anyting.”
8 I tell you, jus cuz dey frenz, dat no mean he goin get up an give um bread. But cuz his fren bodda him plenny, he goin get up an give him wateva he need.
9 Dass how come I tell you, no stop asking an you goin get um. No stop looking an you goin find um. No stop knocking an da door goin open.
10 Cuz evrybody dat ask, goin get um. Evrybody dat look, goin find um. Evrybody dat knock, da door goin open fo dem.
11 Wat faddah goin give his boy one snake if he ask fo one fish?
12 Or give him one scorpion if he ask fo one egg?
13 You know how fo give good tings to yoa kids even tho you bad. So garanz da Faddah in heaven goin give his powa to da guys dat ask him!”
14 Layta on he wen kick out one demon* from one guy. Dis demon wen make um so da guy no could talk. Afta da demon come out, da guy could talk, an all da peopo wuz shock.
15 But some of dem sed: “He hemo da demons cuz of Be·elʹze·bub,* da rula of da demons.”
16 Oddas try tes him an ask him fo show dem one sign from heaven.
17 Jesus know wat dey tinking, so he tell dem: “Evry country dat stay split up an go agains each odda goin come wipe out. An evry family dat stay split up an go agains each odda goin fall apart.
18 So same ting, if Satan kick out Satan, dat mean he stay beefing himself, an he not goin be able fo rule anymoa. You say dat Be·elʹze·bub give me da powa fo kick out da demons.
19 If Be·elʹze·bub give me da powa fo kick out da demons, who give yoa followas da powa fo do dat too? Yoa followas goin show how wrong you.
20 But if I kick out da demons cuz of God’s powa,* dat mean God’s Govament stay hea an you no even know.
21 Wen one strong guy wit plenny weapons guard his house, evryting he get stay safe.
22 But wen somebody moa strong attack um an win, he goin take away all da weapons da guy wen trus in, an give to oddas all da tings he wen take.
23 Whoeva not wit me iz agains me, an whoeva no help peopo come close by me, stay chase peopo away from me.
24 “Wen one demon come outa one guy, it go thru da desert trying fo find one place fo res but no can find one. So it tell: “I goin go back my house wea I wen move from.”
25 Wen it get dea, da house look nice an clean.
26 Den it go get seven odda demons dass moa worse. Afta goin inside da guy, dey make house. So now da guy stay in moa worse shape den he wuz befoa.”
27 Wen Jesus wuz telling dese tings, one wahine from da crowd yell out: “Da wahine dat wen give birth to you an nurse you stay happy!”
28 But he sed: “No, da guys dat hea God’s message an do um iz moa happy!”
29 Wen moa an moa peopo had gadda togedda, he start fo tell: “Peopo dese days iz no good. Dey look fo one sign, but da ony sign dey goin see iz wat wen happen to da prophet Joʹnah.
30 Jus like how Joʹnah wuz one sign to da Ninʹe·vites, da Son of man* goin be one sign to da peopo dese days.
31 On da day God goin judge peopo, da queen of da south goin come back to life wit da peopo from dis time. She goin show how wrong dese peopo wuz, cuz she wen come from far away fo lissen to all da smarts from Solʹo·mon. But somebody moa importan den Solʹo·mon stay hea.
32 On da day God goin judge peopo, da Ninʹe·veh guys goin come back to life wit da peopo from dis time. An cuz da Ninʹe·veh guys wen turn aroun afta wat Joʹnah had tell dem, dey goin show how wrong dese peopo wuz. But somebody moa importan den Joʹnah stay hea.
33 Afta you light one lamp, you no hide um or put um unda one basket, but you put um on da table so dat whoeva come in da house can see da light.
34 Da light of da body iz yoa eye. Wen you pay attention to da right ting,* yoa whole body goin be bright.* But wen you look aroun at plenny odda tings,* yoa whole body goin be dark.
35 Be keaful. You tink you get light inside you, but might be darkness.
36 So den, if you no moa notting dark inside you, den yoa whole body goin be bright jus like one light dat shine.”
37 Afta he tell dis, one Pharisee* ask um fo come eat wit him. So he wen go an sit at da table.
38 But da Pharisee wuz shock fo see dat he neva wash* his hands befoa dinna.
39 Da Lord sed to him: “You Pharisees, you clean da outside of da cup an da dish real good, but inside stay dirty, cuz you ony like do bad tings an take moa an moa fo yoaself.
40 Wassamatta you! You no tink da one who made da outside made da inside too?
41 But wen you give good stuffs to peopo dat need um,* gotta come from inside yoa heart. Den evryting about you goin be clean.
42 But you goin get it, you Pharisees! Cuz you give da ten percent of da mint an da rue* an evry odda herb, but you no kea about how God stay fair an about loving him. You suppose to give da ten percent, but dat no mean you no need do da odda tings.
43 You goin get it, you Pharisees! Cuz you like da front* seats in da synagogs* an you love it wen peopo greet you at da market!
44 You goin get it, you Pharisees! Cuz you jus like dose graves* dat peopo no can see good.* Da kine dat peopo step on an no even know it!”
45 Afta dat, one guy dat know da Law real good sed to him: “Teacha, you putting us down too wen you talk lidat.”
46 Den he sed: “You guys dat know da Law real good, you goin get it too! You make all kine rules dass jus like one heavy load fo peopo carry, but you no even like lif one finga fo make da load moa light!”
47 “You goin get it, cuz you build da tombs* fo da prophets, but wuz yoa ancestas dat wen kill dem!
48 You know da bad tings yoa ancestas wen do, but you wuz okay wit um. Dey wen kill da prophets, but now you stay build dea tombs.
49 Dass why God know wat he talking about wen he tell: “I goin sen prophets an aposals to dem. Dey goin give some of dem real hahd time an oddas dey goin kill.
50 An dass why dis generation gotta pay fo da blood of all da prophets dat wuz killed since da start of da world,*
51 from da blood of Abel to da blood of Zech·a·riʹah, who wen get killed between da altar an da tempo.” Fo shua, da peopo dat live during dis time gotta pay fo dea blood.
52 “You guys dat know da Law real good, you goin get it, cuz you take away da key dat open da door fo know about God. You neva go in an you try fo stop oddas dat trying fo go in!”
53 Wen Jesus leave dea, da scribes* an Pharisees start fo gang up an presha him. An dey drill um wit one question afta anodda,
54 waiting fo him say someting dat dey can use agains him.
