  • Da story of da bad worka (1-13)

    • Faithful in smalla tings, faithful in bigga tings (10)

  • Da Law an God’s Govament (14-18)

  • Da story of da rich guy an Lazarus (19-31)

16  Den he sed to his guys: “Had one rich guy, an somebody wen tell um dat his worka no wuz doin one good job taking kea his stuff. 2  So da rich guy call his worka an tell um: ‘Wat iz dis I hea about you? Go write um down an show me how you wen spen my money, cuz you not in charge anymoa, you fired.’ 3  Den da worka tell himself, ‘Wat I goin do now dat my masta fiyah me? I not strong enuff fo work on one farm, an I too shame fo beg. 4  Eh! I know wat I goin do. I goin try make frenz so dat wen I get fired, dey goin let me come dea house.’ 5  So he call all da guys dat owe his masta someting. He tell da firs one, ‘How much you owe my masta?’ 6  He tell, ‘600 gallons* olive oil.’ He sed to him, ‘Hurry up, take back yoa loan paypas an write down 300 gallons.’ 7  Den he tell anodda one, ‘An you, how much you owe?’ He sed, ‘37,500 pounds* of wheat.’ He sed to him, ‘Take back yoa loan paypas an write down 30,000 pounds.’ 8  His masta wen praise him cuz, even tho no wuz right, dat wuz one smart move.* Cuz wen come to dealing wit oddas, peopo in dis world* iz moa smart den God’s peopo.* 9  “An I tell you: Make frenz in heaven* wit how you use da valuable tings you get in dis world. So dat wen dose tings go away, dese frenz goin give you life dat las foeva. 10  Da guy dass faithful in da smalla tings, you can trus um fo be faithful in da bigga tings. An da guy dass not faithful in da smalla tings, you no can trus um fo be faithful in da bigga tings. 11  So if you no can be faithful wit da valuable tings you get in dis world, nobody goin trus you wit da tings dat get real value. 12  An if you no can be faithful in wat you do wit somebody else’s stuff, nobody goin give you da reward dass fo you. 13  You no can work fo two bosses, cuz you goin love one an hate da odda, or you goin stick to one an no kea about da odda. You no can go all out fo God an fo money same time.” 14  Da Pharisees,* who love money, wuz lissening to all dis, an dey give um stink eye. 15  So he sed to dem: “You make like you righteous in front peopo, but God know how you really stay inside. Wat peopo tink iz importan, iz worthless to God. 16  “Da Law an da Prophets* wen las til John’s time. From den on, peopo been telling da good news about God’s Govament, an all kine peopo stay working hahd fo be part of um. 17  One ting fo shua, jus like how heaven an earth not goin disappea, not even one line of one letta goin disappea from da Law til all dese tings happen. 18  “Anybody dat divorce his wife an marry somebody else stay guilty of fooling aroun on his odda half.* An if somebody marry one wahine dat stay divorced from her husban, he stay guilty of fooling aroun too. 19  Den Jesus sed: “Had one rich guy dat used to wea expensive clothes* an evryday he wuz living it up. 20  But had one beggar named Lazʹa·rus. He had sores all ova his body, an peopo used to carry him an put um in front da rich guy’s gate. 21  Cuz he so hungry, he like eat anyting dat fall from da rich guy’s table. Moa worse, even da dogs would come an lick his sores.* 22  Layta on, da beggar wen mahke an da angels wen take him nex to Abraham.* “An da rich guy wen mahke an wuz buried. 23  Wen he wuz in da Grave* he wen suffa plenny. Den he look up an see Abraham far away wit Lazʹa·rus nex to him.* 24  So he yell out, ‘Eh Abraham, my faddah,* pity me an sen Lazʹa·rus ova hea fo dip da tip of his finga in watta fo cool off my tongue, cuz I stay suffaring in dis hot fiyah.’ 25  But Abraham sed, ‘Eh boy, no foget dat you had enjoy plenny good tings wen you wuz alive. But Lazʹa·rus wen suffa big time. Now ova hea, he feel betta cuz he get da kea he need, an now you da one dat stay suffaring. 26  On top of dat, get one big gap between us an you. So if anybody from hea like go ova dea, no can. An if anybody by you like come ova hea, no can.’ 27  Den da rich guy tell, ‘If dass da case, Abraham my faddah, I like ask you fo sen Lazʹa·rus to my faddah’s house. 28  Cuz I get five braddahs, an I like him tell dem evryting so dat dey no end up in dis place wea dey goin suffa.’ 29  But Abraham sed, ‘Dey get wat Moses an da prophets wen write. Dey can lissen to dat.’ 30  Den he sed, ‘No my faddah Abraham, dey not goin lissen to dat. But if somebody come back alive an go to dem, den dey goin come sorry an change.’ 31  But he tell um, ‘If dey no lissen to Moses an da Prophets, dey not goin believe somebody dat come back alive.’”
