5 Had one time wen Jesus wuz by da lake in Gen·nesʹa·ret* an all da peopo wuz pushing dea way fo get closa to him fo hea God’s words.
2 An he see two boats by da shore, but da fishamen wuz outside of um, cleaning dea nets.
3 He go inside Simon’s boat an tell um fo go litto bit moa out. Den he sit down an start fo teach all da peopo from da boat.
4 Wen he pau talk, he tell Simon: “Go out wea stay deep an lay yoa nets fo catch fish.”
5 But Simon sed to him: “Teacha, we wen fish all night an neva catch notting, but cuz you tell me fo do um, I goin do um.”
6 Wen dey did, dey catch* choke fish. Had so much, dea nets wen start fo buss.
7 So dey call dea partnas in da odda boat fo come help dem. An da two boats wen fill up so much dat dey start fo sink.
8 Wen Simon Peter see dis, he fall down in front Jesus an tell: “Lord go away, I not good enuff fo be by you, cuz I one sinna.”
9 Simon tell dis cuz him an da guys wit um wuz tripping out cuz of all da fish dey wen catch,
10 an even his partnas, James an John, Zebʹe·dee’s boys, wuz tripping out too. But Jesus tell Simon: “No be sked. You goin fish fo peopo from now on.”
11 So dey bring da boats back to shore an drop evryting an follow him.
12 Anodda time wen he wuz in one of da towns, had one guy wit real bad leprosy!* Wen he see Jesus, he fall to da groun an beg um: “Lord, you can make me come clean if you like.”
13 So Jesus had reach out his hand an touch him an tell: “Yeah, I like! I goin heal you.” Right den an dea, his leprosy wen disappea.
14 Den he orda da guy fo no tell nobody an sed: “Go to da pries an let him look you, an make da sacrifice fo come clean like how Moses wen tell, so dat peopo know you stay clean.”
15 But da news about him wen go all ova, an choke peopo would come togedda fo lissen to him an get healed from dea sickness.
16 Still yet, plenny times he would go one place wea nobody stay fo pray.
17 One day wen Jesus wuz teaching, Pharisees* an guys dat teach da law who wen come from Galʹi·lee, Ju·deʹa, an Jerusalem wuz sitting dea. An Jehovah’s* powa wuz wit Jesus fo heal peopo.
18 An try look! Had one guy dea dat no could move an guys wuz carrying him on one stretcha. Dey try fo bring him in wea Jesus wuz.
19 But dey no could find one way fo get in cuz had plenny peopo. So dey climb on top da roof an make one puka fo lower him on da stretcha right in front Jesus.
20 Wen he see dea faith, he sed: “My braddah, yoa sins stay let go.”
21 Den da scribes* an Pharisees tell each odda: “Who dis guy? He no moa respeck fo God, da way he talk. Nobody can fogive sins, ony God.”
22 But Jesus, cuz he know wat dey tinking, sed to dem: “How come you tinking lidat in yoa heart?
23 Iz easy fo say, “Yoa sins stay let go.” But you tink jus anybody can say to dis guy, “Stan up an walk home”?
24 But jus so you know dat God give me, da Son of man,* da right fo let go sins on da earth—” den he tell da guy dat no can move: “I tell you, stan up, pick up yoa stretcha, an walk home.”
25 So he stan up in front dem, pick up his stretcha, an he go home, telling good tings about God.
26 Wen blow evrybody’s mind wat dey see, an dey start fo tell good tings about God. Dey wuz tripping an wen say: “We neva see anyting lidis befoa!”
27 Afta dis, Jesus go out an see one tax collecta named Leʹvi sitting at da tax office. He tell um: “Come be my followa.”
28 So he leave evryting behind, an wen get up an start fo follow Jesus.
29 Den Leʹvi throw one big party fo Jesus at his house, an had plenny tax collectas an oddas at da table wit dem.
30 Wen da Pharisees an da scribes see dis, dey start fo grumbo to Jesus followas. Dey tell: “How come you eat an drink wit tax collectas an sinnaz?”
31 Jesus sed to dem: “Da guys dass healty no need one docta, but da sick guys need um.
32 I wen come fo help sinnaz come sorry, not da guys dat tink dey righteous.”
33 Dey sed to Jesus: “John’s followas pray an fast* all da time, an even da Pharisees followas do dat too. But yoa’s eat an drink.”
34 Jesus tell dem: “You no can make da groom’s frenz fast wen da groom stay wit dem ah?
35 Bumbye da time goin come wen da groom no goin be dea wit dem. Dass da time his frenz goin fast.”
36 Jesus paint dem one picha wen he tell: “Nobody goin cut one piece cloth from new clothes an sew um on old clothes. If he do dat, den da new piece cloth goin rip away, an no match da old clothes.
37 An nobody put new wine in one old wine bag.* If you do dat, da bag goin buss an be no good an da wine goin spill.
38 Moa betta fo put new wine in one new wine bag.
39 Nobody like drink da new wine afta dey drink da old one, cuz he tell, “Nice, da old one.””
