Wat John Wen Write 20:1-31
20 On da firs day of da week,* real early in da morning wen wuz still dark, Mary Magʹda·lene come to da tomb.* She see da stone dat cova da tomb wuz awready rolled away.
2 So she run to Simon Peter an da odda followa, who Jesus love plenny, an sed to dem: “Dey wen take da Lord outa da tomb, an we donno wea dey wen put um.”
3 Den Peter an da odda followa go out to da tomb.
4 Da two of dem start fo run togedda, but da odda followa run moa fas den Peter an reach da tomb firs.
5 He bend down fo look inside, an see da linen cloths lying dea, but he neva go inside.
6 Den wen Simon Peter get dea, he go right inside da tomb an see da linen cloths lying dea.
7 Da cloth dat wuz wrapped aroun Jesus head no wuz wit da odda pieces of cloth, but wuz rolled up in one place by itself.
8 Den da odda followa dat wen get dea firs wen go inside. Wen he see dat, he believe wat wuz told to dem.
9 But dey neva undastan da scripcha yet dat Jesus gotta come back from da dead.
10 So da two guys go back home.
11 But Mary stay dea crying outside da tomb. While she wuz crying, she lean in fo look inside da tomb,
12 an she see two angels in white sitting wea Jesus body wuz. One wuz sitting by da head an da odda by da feet.
13 An dey sed to her: “Lady, why you crying fo?” She tell dem: “Dey wen take away my Lord an I donno wea dey wen put him.”
14 Afta she say dis, she turn aroun an see Jesus standing dea, but she neva know wuz him.
15 Jesus sed to her: “Lady, wat you crying fo? Who you looking fo?” Cuz she tink he da gardener, she sed to him: “Mista, if you took him someplace, tell me wea you put him, an I goin take him away.”
16 Jesus sed to her: “Mary!” Wen she turn aroun, she tell him in Hebrew: “Rab·boʹni!” (dat mean “Teacha!”)
17 Jesus tell her: “Stop holding on to me, cuz I neva go up to my Faddah yet. But go to my braddahs an tell dem, “I goin go up to my Faddah an yoa Faddah an to my God an yoa God.””
18 So Mary Magʹda·lene go to his followas an bring da news to dem. She tell dem: “I had see da Lord!” An she told dem wat he wen tell her.
19 Wuz late in da day, da firs day of da week, an da doors wuz locked wea da followas wuz, cuz dey wuz sked of da Jews. Den Jesus wen come to dem an tell: “Howzit, I hope evryting good wit you.”*
20 Afta he say dis, he show dem his hands an side wea da wound wuz. An his followas wuz supa happy fo see him.
21 Jesus sed to dem again: “I hope evryting good wit you. Jus like my Faddah wen sen me, I stay sending you too.”
22 Afta he say dis, he blow on dem an tell: “Take in God’s powa.
23 If you fogive somebody’s sins, dey goin be fogiven. But if you no fogive somebody’s sins, dey not goin be fogiven.”
24 But Thomas, one of da Twelve dat wuz called da Twin, no wuz dea wen Jesus came.
25 So da odda followas wuz telling him: “We wen spock da Lord!” But he sed to dem: “Unless I see his hands* dass poke by da nails an stick my finga in da puka an even stick my hand in his side, no ways I goin believe.”
26 Eight days layta, his followas wuz inside again an Thomas wuz wit dem. Even tho da doors wuz locked, Jesus come an tell dem: “Howzit, I hope evryting good wit you.”
27 Den he tell Thomas: “Put yoa finga hea an look my hands, an take yoa hand an stick um in my side, an no doubt* dat I stay alive, but believe um.”
28 Thomas sed to him: “My Lord an my God!”
29 Jesus tell him: “You believe cuz you see me? Da guys dass happy iz da ones dat believe even tho dey no see.”
30 Fo shua, Jesus wen do plenny odda miracles in front his followas dat no stay written down in dis scroll.*
31 But wass written down stay dea so dat you can believe dat Jesus iz da Christ, da Son of God. An cuz of believing in him, you can live foeva.
