Wat John Wen Write 13:1-38
13 Jesus wen know befoa da festival of da Passova* dat da time had come fo him leave dis world an go to da Faddah. He love da guys in da world dat follow him, an wen love dem til da end.
2 Dey wuz at dinna, an da Devil had awready make Judas Is·carʹi·ot, Simon’s boy, tink fo stab Jesus in da back.
3 Jesus knew dat da Faddah put him in charge of evryting, an dat he wuz sent by God an wuz goin back to God.
4 So he get up from da table an take off his robe, an he take one towel an wrap um aroun his waist.
5 Afta dat, he put watta in one bowl an start fo wash his guys feet an dry um off wit da towel dat wuz wrap aroun him.
6 Den Jesus come to Simon Peter. He tell Jesus: “Lord, you goin wash my feet?”
7 Jesus ansa him: “Wat I stay doin, you not goin undastan um right now. But you goin undastan um laytaz.”
8 Peter sed to him: “I neva goin let you wash my feet.” Jesus tell um: “If I no wash yoa feet, you not goin have notting fo do wit me.”
9 Den Simon Peter sed: “Den Lord, no wash ony my feet, but wash my hands an my head too.”
10 Jesus sed: “Whoeva bocha stay clean awready, an ony gotta wash his feet. You guys stay clean, but not all you guys.”
11 Jesus knew who da guy wuz dat would stab him in da back. Dass how come he sed: “Not all you guys stay clean.”
12 Afta he wash dea feet an put his robe back on, he go sit back down at da table an sed to dem: “You undastan wat I jus did?
13 You call me “Teacha” an “Lord,” an az right, dass who me.
14 So den if me, da Lord an Teacha, wash yoa feet, you gotta wash each odda’s feet too.
15 Cuz I set da exampo* fo you so dat jus like I wen do fo you, you should do da same ting.
16 I tell you fo shua, one worka not moa importan den his boss, an one messenja not moa importan den da one who wen sen um.
17 If you know dese tings, you goin be happy if you do um.
18 But I no stay talking about all you guys. I know da ones I wen choose. But goin be dis way so dat da scripcha come tru: “Da one who wuz eating my bread wen turn agains me.”
19 I stay telling you dat dis goin happen, so dat wen you see um happen to me, you goin know dat dis scripcha stay talking about me.
20 I telling you fo shua, whoeva take in anybody I sen, show respeck fo me. An whoeva show respeck fo me, stay showing respeck fo da One who wen sen me.”
21 Afta Jesus say all dis, he come all stress out an tell: “I telling you fo shua, one of you guys goin stab me in da back.”
22 His guys start fo look at each odda an dey wonda who he wuz talking about.
23 One of Jesus guys dat he love plenny wuz sitting close by* him.
24 So Simon Peter nod to him an sed: “Try ask him who he talking about.”
25 So he lean back on Jesus ches an ask um: “Lord, who you stay talking about?”
26 Jesus ansa: “Da guy dat I goin give da piece bread dat I dip.” So afta he dip da bread, he give um to Judas, Simon Is·carʹi·ot’s boy.
27 Afta Judas take da piece bread, Satan wen get control of his heart an affeck how he tink. So Jesus tell um: “Wat you like do, go do um awready.”
28 But none of da oddas at da table know how come he sed dat to him.
29 Some wuz tinking dat Jesus wuz telling Judas, “Go buy wat we need fo da festival,” or dat he should give someting to da pooa, cuz he had da money box.
30 So afta he take da piece bread, he dig out right away. An wuz night time.
31 Wen Judas leave, Jesus sed: “Now God goin make me, da Son of man,* come awesome, an peopo goin see dat He stay awesome too.
32 God goin make me awesome, an he goin do um right away.
33 My frenz,* I stay wit you ony fo litto bit moa. You goin look fo me, but I goin tell you da same ting I wen tell da Jews, “Wea I goin, you no can come.”
34 I giving you one new rule,* dat you love each odda. Jus like how I wen love you, you gotta love each odda.
35 Evrybody goin know you my guys if you get love fo each odda.”
36 Simon Peter sed to him: “Lord, wea you goin?” Jesus ansa: “Wea I goin, you no can follow me, but you goin come layta on.”
37 Peter tell him: “Lord, how come I no can go wit you now? I ready fo die* fo you.”
38 Jesus sed: “You fo real ready fo die fo me? I tell you fo shua, one roosta not goin crow til you tell dat you donno me three times.”
