18 Afta Jesus sed dese tings, him an his guys go across da Kidʹron Valley* to wea had one garden, an dey go inside um.

3 So Judas bring a bunch of soldiers an officers dat wuz sent by da main pries guys an da Pharisees.* Dey come dea wit torches, lamps, swords, an clubs.
4 Jesus knew all da tings dat wuz goin happen to him, so he come forward an tell dem: “Who you looking fo?”
5 Dey ansa: “Jesus da Naz·a·reneʹ.” He tell dem: “Az me.” An Judas, da backstabba, wuz standing dea wit dem too.
6 But wen Jesus sed to dem, “Az me,” dey step back an fall to da groun.
7 So he ask dem again: “Who you looking fo?” Dey sed: “Jesus da Naz·a·reneʹ.”
8 Jesus ansa dem: “I told you, az me. So if you looking fo me, let dese guys go.”
9 Dis happen so dat wat he sed would come tru: “From da guys you wen give me, I neva lose nobody.”
10 Den Simon Peter buss out his sword an cut off da right ear of one worka fo da main pries. Da name of da worka wuz Malchus.
11 But Jesus tell Peter: “Put da sword away. Iz ony right dat I drink da cup* my Faddah wen give me.”
12 Den da soldiers, dea commanda, an da officers of da Jews wen arrest Jesus an tie him up.
13 Firs dey bring him to Anʹnas, cuz he wuz Caʹia·phas faddah in law, da guy dat wuz main pries dat year.

20 Jesus ansa him: “I sed evryting in front evrybody. I wuz always teaching in da synagog* an in da tempo, wea all da Jews get togedda, an I neva hide da tings I sed.
21 Why you question me? Go question da guys dat heard wat I told dem. Dey know wat I sed.”
22 Afta he tell dis, one of da officers dat wuz standing by Jesus wen slap um in da face an sed: “Dass da way you talk to da main pries?”
23 Jesus tell him: “If I sed someting wrong, tell me wat I sed dat wuz wrong. But if wat I sed iz right, den why you wen hit me?”
24 Den Anʹnas told dem fo take him away to Caʹia·phas, da main pries. He wuz still tied up.
25 Simon Peter wuz standing dea trying fo get warm. An dey sed to him: “You not one of dis guy’s followas too ah?” He deny um an sed: “I not.”

27 But Peter deny um again, an right den an dea one roosta wen crow.
28 Den dey bring Jesus from Caʹia·phas to da govna’s house. By now wuz early in da morning. But dey neva go inside da govna’s house, cuz dey wanted fo stay clean so dey could eat da Passova* meal.
29 So Pilate come outside an ask dem: “Wat you charging dis guy wit?”
30 Dey ansa: “If dis guy no wuz one criminal, we no would bring him ova hea to you.”
31 So Pilate tell dem: “You guys take um an judge um based on yoa law.” Da Jews sed to him: “We no moa da right fo kill anybody.”
32 Dis happen so dat wat Jesus tell would come tru fo show how he wuz goin die.
33 So again Pilate go inside his house an call Jesus an tell um: “You da King of da Jews o wat?”
34 Jesus ansa: “You asking cuz you really like know? Or cuz you wen hea about me from odda peopo?”
35 Pilate sed: “You know I not one Jew. Yoa own peopo an da main pries guys wen turn you ova to me. Wat you did?”
36 Jesus tell him: “My Govament no stay part of dis world. If my Govament wuz part of dis world, den my followas woulda fight fo me so dat da Jews no take me in. But like I sed, my Govament no stay from hea.”
37 Pilate ask him: “So wat den, you one king?” Jesus sed: “You sed um yoaself dat I one king. I wuz born an wen come into da world fo tell about da trut. Evrybody dat stay on da side of da trut lissen to wat I say.”
38 Pilate sed to him: “Wat dat, trut?”
Afta he say dis, he go again to da Jews an tell dem: “I neva find notting wrong wit dis guy.
39 But you guys get one custom dat I let one guy go at da Passova. So wat, you like me let go da King of da Jews?”
40 Dey yell again: “Not dat guy, but Bar·abʹbas!” Dis guy Bar·abʹbas wuz one crook.
