Wat John Wen Write 16:1-33
16 “I wen tell you all dis so dat you no stumbo.
2 Guys goin kick you outa da synagog.* In fact, da time stay coming wen evrybody dat kill you goin tink he stay serving God by doin dat.
3 But dey goin do dese tings cuz dey donno me or my Faddah.
4 I telling you dis so dat wen dese tings happen, you goin rememba dat I told you about um.
“I neva tell you dis stuff befoa cuz I wuz wit you.
5 Now I goin go back to da One dat wen sen me. An none of you ask me, “Wea you goin?”
6 Az cuz you guys stay all sad dat I wen tell you dese tings.
7 Trus me, goin be good fo you dat I goin away. Cuz if I no go away, da helpa* not goin come to you. But if I go, I goin sen um to you.
8 An wen he* come, he goin make tings clear to da world wen come to sin, wat iz right, an about judgment.
9 Firs, he goin show da sin of da world, cuz da world no stay showing faith in me.
10 An he goin show dat wat I do iz right, cuz I goin to da Faddah. Den you not goin see me anymoa.
11 An he goin make God’s judgment clear, cuz da rula of dis world wen get judged awready.
12 “I get plenny tings fo tell you still yet, but az too much fo you hando right now.
13 But wen da helpa come, dass God’s powa dat show wass tru, he goin guide you fo help you undastan da trut real good. Cuz wat he tell no come from him, but he goin say wat he hea, an he goin tell you da tings dat gotta happen.
14 He goin bring praise to me cuz he goin take wat he hea from me an tell um to you.
15 Evryting da Faddah get iz mines. Dass how come I sed, he goin take wass from me an tell um to you.
16 In a litto while, you not goin see me anymoa, an in a litto while, you goin see me.”
17 Wen he sed dat, some of his guys tell each odda: “Wat he mean wen he say, “In a litto while, you not goin see me anymoa, an in a litto while, you goin see me,” an wen he say, “cuz I goin to da Faddah”?”
18 Dey wuz saying: “Wat he mean, “litto while”? We donno wat he talking about.”
19 Jesus wen know dey wanted fo ask him about dis, so he sed: “You asking each odda dis cuz I sed: “In a litto while, you not goin see me anymoa, an in a litto while, you goin see me”?
20 I telling you fo shua, you goin be sad an cry real hahd, but da world goin be happy. You goin be all soa, but den you goin come happy.
21 Wen one wahine giving birth, she stay in pain cuz da time fo her suffa had come. But wen she give birth, she no rememba all da suffaring cuz she so happy her bebe wen come into da world.
22 Same wit you, you sad now but I goin see you again. An den you goin be happy, an nobody goin take dat away from you.
23 Dat time, you not goin ask me notting. I telling you fo shua, if you ask da Faddah fo anyting, he goin give um to you in my name.*
24 Til now, you neva ask da Faddah fo notting in my name. Ask an you goin get um, so dat you can be supa happy.
25 “I wen use stories fo talk to you about all dis stuff. Layta on, I not goin use stories fo talk to you anymoa, but I goin tell you strait up about da Faddah.
26 Dat time, you goin go thru me* fo ask da Faddah fo someting. Dis no mean dat I goin ask him fo you.
27 But da Faddah get love fo you, cuz you wen love me an you believe dat he wen sen me.
28 I wen come into da world fo rep my Faddah. An now I goin leave da world an go to my Faddah.”
29 His guys sed: “See! Now we undastan wat you saying cuz you not using stories, you jus telling us strait.
30 Now we know dat you know evryting an you no need anybody fo ask you one question, cuz you awready know wat dey tinking. Cuz of dis, we believe you wen come from God.”
31 Jesus tell dem: “You shua you believe now?
32 Try look! Da time wen all you guys goin bag an scatta all ova da place* stay coming soon. An you goin leave me by myself. But I not goin be all by myself, cuz da Faddah stay wit me.
33 I tell you all dese tings so dat you can have peace cuz of me. In da world, you goin have hahd times. But make strong! Cuz I had win ova da bad dat stay in da world.”
