Lapho uJesu Kristu ethuma abaphostoli abangu-12 ukuba bayoshumayela, ingabe wathi abaphathe izindondolo bagqoke nezimbadada?

Abanye bathi ukulandisa okusemaVangelini amathathu okukhuluma ngokuthuma kukaJesu abaphostoli kuyaphikisana. Nokho, ngokuqhathanisa lokhu kulandisa singafinyelela isiphetho esithakazelisayo. Okokuqala, qhathanisa lokho uMarku noLuka abakuloba. Ukulandisa kukaMarku kuthi: “[UJesu] wabayala ukuba bangaphathi lutho lohambo ngaphandle kodondolo kuphela, bangaphathi sinkwa, bangaphathi sikhwama sokudla, bangaphathi mali emixhakeni yabo, kodwa ukuba bafake izimbadada, futhi bangagqoki izingubo zangaphansi ezimbili.” (Marku 6:7-9) ULuka wabhala: “Ningaphathi lutho lohambo, naludondolo nasikhwama sokudla, nasinkwa namali yesiliva; futhi ningaphathi izingubo zangaphansi ezimbili.” (Luka 9:1-3) Lapha sibona lokho okubonakala sengathi kuyaphikisana. NgokukaMarku, abaphostoli babetshelwe ukuba baphathe udondolo bafake nezimbadada, kodwa amazwi kaLuka athi kwakumelwe bangaphathi lutho, bangaphathi ngisho kwaludondolo. Ngokungafani noMarku, uLuka akakhulumi ngezimbadada.

Ukuze uqonde ukuthi uJesu wayechaza ukuthini ngaleso sikhathi, phawula amazwi afanayo atholakala kula maVangeli amathathu. Ekulandiseni okucashunwe ngenhla nokusencwadini kaMathewu 10:5-10, abaphostoli batshelwa ukuba bangagqoki noma baphathe ‘izingubo zangaphansi ezimbili.’ Cishe umphostoli ngamunye wayegqoke ingubo eyodwa yangaphansi. Ngakho kwakungadingeki ukuba ayofuna enye yohambo. Babezigqokile nezimbadada. UMarku wagcizelela isidingo ‘sokufaka izimbadada,’ izimbadada ababevele benazo. Kuthiwani ngezindondolo? I-Jewish Encyclopedia ithi: “Kubonakala sengathi kwakuyisiko kumaHebheru asendulo ukuphatha udondolo.” (Gen. 32:10) UMarku wathi abaphostoli kwakungafanele ‘baphathe lutho lohambo’ ngaphandle kwezindondolo ababevele beziphethe lapho uJesu ebayala. Ngakho-ke, abalobi bamaVangeli babegcizelela umyalo kaJesu wokuthi kwakungafanele balitshaziswe ukuyozifunela izimpahla ezengeziwe zohambo.

Leli phuzu libuye ligcizelelwe uMathewu, owezwa umyalo kaJesu ngaleso sikhathi futhi wawubhala. UJesu wathi: “Ningaphathi golide nasiliva nathusi emixhakeni yenu eboshelwa ebhandeni, nasikhwama somphako, nazingubo zangaphansi ezimbili, nazimbadada naludondolo; ngoba isisebenzi sifanelwe ukudla kwaso.” (Math. 10:9, 10) Kuthiwani ngezimbadada abaphostoli ababezigqokile nezindondolo ababeziphethe? UJesu akazange athi abakulahle lokho abase benakho, kodwa wayebatshela ukuthi bangayi kofuna izinto ezinjalo. Kungani anikeza umyalo onjalo? Kungenxa yokuthi “isisebenzi sifanelwe ukudla kwaso.” Kwakuyilelo iphuzu lomyalo kaJesu, owawuvumelana nomyalo awunikeza eNtshumayelweni YaseNtabeni wokuba bangakhathazeki ngokuthi bazodlani, bazophuzani noma bazogqokani.—Math. 6:25-32.

Nakuba lokhu kulandisa kwamaVangeli kungaqale kuzwakale sengathi kuyaphikisana, konke kuchaza iphuzu elifanayo. Abaphostoli kwakumelwe bahambe njengoba benjalo, bangaphazanyiswa ukufuna izinto ezengeziwe. Kungani? Ngoba uJehova wayezobasekela.

Ibhekisela kobani inkulumo ethi “intokazi, yebo, izintokazi” uSolomoni ayisebenzisile?—UmSh. 2:8.

Asiqiniseki, kodwa kungenzeka ukuthi kwakungabesifazane abavelele uSolomoni ayehlangana nabo esigodlweni sakhe.

Esahlukweni sesibili sencwadi yomShumayeli, uSolomoni wabala izinto ezihlukahlukene ayezifezile, kuhlanganise nemisebenzi emikhulu yokwakha. Wanezela: “Ngaziqongelelela nesiliva negolide, nempahla engeyamakhosi kuphela nezifunda zombuso. Ngazisungulela abahlabeleli besilisa nabahlabeleli besifazane ngazitholela nalokho okuwajabulisa kakhulu amadodana abantu, intokazi, yebo, izintokazi.”—UmSh. 2:8.

Abahlaziyi abaningi bacabanga ukuthi “izintokazi” uSolomoni ayekhuluma ngazo kwakungabafazi abaningi bezizwe kanye nezancinza aba nazo kamuva, abesifazane abamyengela ekukhulekeleni kwamanga. (1 AmaKh. 11:1-4) Nokho, leyo ncazelo iphakamisa imibuzo. Lapho uSolomoni ebhala la mazwi, wayesejwayelene kakade ‘nentokazi, yebo, izintokazi.’ Futhi ngaleso sikhathi, wayesamukeleka kuJehova, ngoba uNkulunkulu wayesamphefumulela ukuba abhale izincwadi zeBhayibheli. Lokhu akufanelani nakancane nesimo sakhe sakamuva lapho ayesenabafazi bezizwe abangamakhulu nezancinza futhi eseqhuba ukukhulekela kwamanga.

Encwadini yomShumayeli, uSolomoni wathi “wafuna ukuthola amazwi ajabulisayo nokuloba amazwi eqiniso okuyiwonawona.” (UmSh. 12:10) Ngokusobala wayewazi amagama asebenzayo kwelithi “umfazi,” “indlovukazi” nelithi ‘isancinza,’ ngoba wawasebenzisa lawo magama emibhalweni yakhe ephefumulelwe. (IzAga 5:18; 12:4; 18:22; UmSh. 9:9; IsiHl. 6:8, 9) Kodwa kumShumayeli 2:8 akasebenzisanga lawo magama ajwayelekile.

Igama lesiHebheru elingajwayelekile elihunyushwe ngokuthi “intokazi, yebo, izintokazi,” (lisebunyeni nasebuningini) livela kuleli vesi kuphela eBhayibhelini. Izazi ziyavuma ukuthi aziqiniseki ngencazelo yalo. Abahumushi abaningi beBhayibheli bathi le nkulumo ekumShumayeli 2:8 ibhekisela kwabesifazane, iveza ubunye bese kuba ubuningi noma mhlawumbe ubuhle bezinga eliphakeme kakhulu. Yilowo mqondo odluliselwa inkulumo ehunyushwe ngokuthi “intokazi, yebo, izintokazi.”

USolomoni wayedume kakhulu, kangangokuthi indlovukazi evela embusweni ocebile waseSheba yezwa ngaye, yamvakashela, futhi yahlabeka umxhwele. (1 AmaKh. 10:1, 2) Kungenzeka ukuthi uSolomoni wayebhekisele kuyo lapho ekhuluma ‘ngentokazi, yebo, izintokazi.’ Mhlawumbe wayebhekisele kwabesifazane abaqavile ayehlangana nabo esigodlweni sakhe phakathi neminyaka eminingi ayesenokuma okuhle ngayo noNkulunkulu.
