Wat Mark Wen Write 8:1-38
8 Dat time, had plenny peopo come aroun Jesus again, an dey neva have notting fo eat. So he call his guys an sed to dem:
2 “I feel sorry fo all da peopo, cuz dey wen stay wit me fo three days awready an dey no moa notting fo eat.
3 I no like sen um home hungry. Dey might pass out on da road, an some of dem come from far away.”
4 But his guys tell him: “We stay in da boonies. Wea anybody goin find nuff food fo feed all dese peopo?”
5 Jesus ask dem: “How much bread you get?” Dey tell: “Seven loafs.”
6 An he tell da peopo fo go sit down on da groun. Den he take da seven loafs, tell God mahalo, break um up an give um to his guys, an dey give um to all da peopo.
7 Dey had some small fish too, an afta saying one praya, he tell his guys fo pass um out.
8 So dey eat til dey wuz full. Den dey wen pick up all da lef ovas an had fill up seven big baskets.
9 Had about 4,000 guys. Afta dat, he sen dem away.
10 Right away, Jesus get on one boat wit his guys an come to da Dal·ma·nuʹtha area.
11 Ova hea, da Pharisees* come an start fo argue wit him. Dey tell um dat he betta show dem one sign from heaven, cuz dey wanted fo tes him.
12 Jesus feel sad in his heart an sed: “How come you peopo keep looking fo one sign? Fo shua, you peopo not goin see one sign.”
13 Afta dat, he leave dem, go on da boat again, an go da odda shore.
14 But dey foget fo bring bread wit dem, an dey ony had one loaf in da boat.
15 An Jesus warn dem: “Watch out fo da yeast of da Pharisees an of Herod.”
16 So dey start fo grumbo wit each odda about how come nobody wen bring bread.
17 Wen Jesus see dis, he tell dem: “How come you guys stay grumbo about bread? You still no get um? You still get hahd time undastan?
18 “You get eyes but you no can see, an you get ears but you no can hea.” You no rememba
19 wen I had broke da five loafs fo da 5,000 guys, how much lef ovas had?” Dey sed to him: “12 baskets.”
20 “An wen I broke da seven loafs fo da 4,000 guys, how much big baskets lef ovas had?” Dey sed to him: “Seven.”
21 Den Jesus tell dem: “You still yet no undastan?”
22 Wen dey get to Beth·saʹi·da, da peopo bring Jesus one blind man an beg him fo heal um.
23 So he grab da blind guy’s hand an bring um outside da town. Afta he spit on his eyes, he touch um an wen ask: “Wat you see?”
24 Da guy look up an tell: “I see peopo walking, but dey look like trees.”
25 One moa time he touch da guy’s eyes, an da guy see clear. His eyes come good again, an he could see evryting real clear.
26 Den Jesus sen him home, an tell: “No go back inside da town.”
27 Jesus an his guys leave fo go da towns of Caes·a·reʹa Phi·lipʹpi, an on da way he start fo ask dem: “Who peopo tink me?”
28 Dey tell him: “John da Baptiza, but odda peopo say E·liʹjah, an oddas say you one of da prophets.”
29 Den he ask dem da same question: “But who you guys tink me?” Peter wen ansa: “You da Christ.”
30 So Jesus tell dem strait fo no tell nobody who him.
31 An he start fo teach dem dat da Son of man* gotta suffa an be rejected by da eldas, main pries guys, an da scribes,* get killed an afta three days, come back alive.
32 Jesus no hold back wen he tell all dis. But Peter pull um on da side an scold him.
33 So Jesus turn aroun an look at all his guys, den he scold Peter. He tell um: “Get outa my face, Satan! Cuz you ony tink like one man, not like God.”
34 Jesus call all da peopo fo come by him an his guys. He sed: “If anybody like be my followa, he no can live fo himself. He gotta carry one torcha pos* jus like me an no stop following me.
35 Whoeva ony like save his life* goin lose um. But whoeva lose his life cuz of me an da good news about God, goin get um back.
36 Wass da point if somebody get evryting inside dis world but den mahke in da end?
37 Wat one man willing fo give up fo save his life?
38 In dis world wea peopo stay bad an no stick wit God,* whoeva shame of me an wat I tell, da Son of man goin be shame of him too wen he come wit da awesomeness of his Faddah an his angels.”
