Wat Mark Wen Write 15:1-47
15 Right at da crack of dawn, da main pries guys, da eldas, an da scribes,* in fact, all da guys in da High Court,* wen get togedda fo make plans agains Jesus. Den dey tie him up an take um an hand um ova to Pilate.
2 So Pilate ask um: “You da King of da Jews o wat?” Jesus sed: “You sed um yoaself.”
3 But da main pries guys wuz saying he guilty of plenny tings.
4 Pilate start fo ask him moa questions: “You no moa notting fo say? You no hea all da stuff dey stay telling agains you?”
5 But Jesus neva say notting, an dat wen shock him.
6 Evry Passova* festival, Pilate would let go one prisona, da one da peopo ask fo.
7 Dat time had one guy named Bar·abʹbas. Him an da odda guys dat wuz in jail wit him wen go agains da govament an murda peopo.
8 All da peopo wen come up an start fo tell Pilate wat prisona dey like him let go, cuz he would always do dat fo dem.
9 He tell dem: “You like me let go da King of da Jews?”
10 Pilate know da main pries guys wen hand Jesus ova cuz dey wuz jealous.
11 But da main pries guys keep telling evrybody fo ask Pilate fo let Bar·abʹbas go instead.
12 One moa time Pilate sed to dem: “Wat I goin do wit da one you call King of da Jews?”
13 Again dey yell: “Put um on da pos!”*
14 But Pilate tell dem: “How come? Wat bad stuff he did?” But dey keep yelling even moa: “Put um on da pos!”
15 Cuz Pilate wanted fo make da peopo happy, he let Bar·abʹbas go, but orda his guys fo whip Jesus an kill um on top da pos.
16 Den da soldiers take Jesus inside da courtyard of da govna’s house, an dey call all da troops togedda.
17 Dey dress um up in purple an make one crown outa thorns an put um on top him.
18 An dey start fo say: “Aloha! You King of da Jews!”
19 An dey wuz hitting him on da head wit one stick an spitting on um, an dey go down on dea knees an bow down to him.
20 Afta dey pau tease him, dey hemo da purple robe an put his clothes back on. An dey take him out to wea dey goin nail um on da pos.
21 Den had one guy coming from da countryside named Simon. He from Cy·reʹne an he da faddah of Alexander an Ruʹfus. He wuz passing by dea an dey wen force him fo carry Jesus torcha pos.*
22 So dey bring him to da place dey call Golʹgo·tha. Wen you translate um dat mean, “Skull Place.”
23 Ova hea dey wen try give um wine dat wuz mixed wit da drug myrrh,* but he neva drink um.
24 Den dey nail um to da pos, an dey split up his clothes by throwing small stones* fo see who would get wat.
25 Wuz about 9 o’clock* in da morning wen dey nail um to da pos.
26 Had one sign dat tell wat he wuz charged wit dat say: “Da King of da Jews.”
27 Den dey put two crooks on da pos nex to him, one on da right an one on da lef.
28 * ——
29 All da guys dat pass by shake dea heads an talk real pilau about him. Dey tell: “Eh! You not da one dat sed you can buss down da tempo an build um back up in three days?
30 Save yoaself by getting down from da torcha pos.”
31 Da main pries guys an da scribes tease him too, an dey tell: “He can save odda guys but he no can save himself!
32 Let da Christ, da King of Israel, come down from da torcha pos, so dat we can see um an believe um.” Even da guys on da pos nex to him wuz talking stink about him too.
33 Wen wuz about 12 o’clock* til 3 o’clock* in da aftanoon, wen come real dark all ova da place.*
34 An at 3 o’clock in da aftanoon, Jesus wen yell real loud: “Eʹli, Eʹli, laʹma sa·bach·thaʹni?” Wen you translate um dat mean: “My God, my God, how come you bag from me?”
35 Wen some of da guys standing dea hea dis, dey tell: “Try look! He stay calling E·liʹjah.”
36 Den somebody wen run an soak one sponge in sour wine, put um on one stick, an give um to Jesus fo drink. He tell: “Try wait, leave um alone! We go see if E·liʹjah goin come fo take him down.”
37 But Jesus yell real loud an den he mahke.*
38 An da curtain in da tempo* wen rip in half from da top to da bottom.
39 Wen da army officer dat wuz watching Jesus see evryting dat had happen wen he mahke, he tell: “Fo shua, dis guy wuz God’s Boy.”
40 An had wahines watching from far. Some of dem wuz Mary Magʹda·lene an Mary da maddah of James* an Joʹses, an Sa·loʹme.
41 Dey wuz da ones who wen go wit Jesus fo help him wen he wuz in Galʹi·lee. An had plenny odda wahines dat wen come to Jerusalem wit him.
42 Wuz awready late in da aftanoon, an cuz it wuz da day fo prepare* fo da Sabbath,* which wuz da nex day,
43 Joseph from Ar·i·ma·theʹa wen come. He wuz one memba of da High Court wit one good rep, an he wuz waiting fo God’s Govament come. He wen get da guts fo go up to Pilate an ask fo Jesus body.
44 But Pilate wanted fo know if Jesus really wen die, so he call da army officer to him fo ask if Jesus mahke awready.
45 Afta he find out from da army officer dat Jesus had die, he tell Joseph he could take da body.
46 So Joseph go buy real nice kine linen an take Jesus body down. He wrap um in da linen an put um inside one tomb* dat wuz cut outa da rock. Den he roll one big rock fo close up da tomb.
47 But Mary Magʹda·lene an Mary da maddah of Joʹses wen stay dea, an dey keep looking da tomb wea dey put his body.
