Satan te kòmanse lage yon pakèt malè sou Jòb pou l teste l. Premyèman, li te voye yon seri moun Seba vin vòlè bèf Jòb yo ak bourik li yo. Apre sa, gen yon dife ki te boule tout mouton Jòb yo nèt. W ap pale, men w pa konn pou ki sa bagay sa yo rive.’ Jòb te admèt erè l, epi l di: ‘Mwen antò. Mwen te tande pale de ou, men, kounye a, anverite, mwen konnen w. Pa gen anyen ki enposib pou ou. Mwen regrèt sa m te di yo.’
