Daniel 12:1-13
12 “That time, Miʹcha·el* go stand up,* the great prince wey de stand for your people.* And time of trouble go dey, the kind one wey never dey since them form nation until that time. And that time your people go escape, everybody wey them see say them write im name for the book.
2 And plenty people wey de sleep for the dust of the earth go wake up, some go get life wey no go end, and other ones go get shame and disgrace wey go last forever.
3 “And the people wey get deep sense go shine like the sky wey dey bright, and people wey de help many people to do wetin correct for God eye go shine like the stars, forever and ever.
4 “As for you, Daniel, keep the words secret, and seal the book until the time of the end. Many people go waka from place to place,* and the correct knowledge go really plenty.”
5 Then me, Daniel, come look and see two other people de stand for there, one dey this side of the stream, and one dey the other side of the stream.
6 Then one of them tell the man wey wear linen cloth, wey dey ontop the water wey dey the stream say: “How long e go be before the end of this wonderful things come?”
7 Then I hear the man wey wear linen cloth, wey dey ontop the water wey dey the stream as e raise im right hand and im left hand face the heavens and use the Person wey de live forever to swear say: “E go be for time wey them don fix, times wey them don fix, and half time.* As them just scatter the power of the holy people finish, all this things go end.”
8 Now as for me, I hear, but I no understand; so I talk say: “O my lord, wetin go be the result of this things?”
9 Then e talk say: “Go, Daniel, because them go keep the words secret and seal-am until the time of the end.
10 Many people go clean theirself and make theirself white and them go dey clean. And the wicked people go do wicked things, and no wicked person go understand; but the people wey get deep sense go understand.
11 “And from the time wey them don remove the sacrifice wey them de do everytime* and them don set the yamayama thing* wey de cause destruction, na 1,290 days go dey.
12 “The person wey continue to expect-am* and wey come for the 1,335 days go happy!
13 “But as for you, make you continue go reach the end. You go rest, but you go stand up to get your share* for the end of the days.”
