Daniel 11:1-45
11 “As for me, for the first year wey Da·riʹus wey be Media person de rule, I stand up to give-am* power and make-am strong.*
2 Wetin I go tell you now na the truth:
“See! Three more kings go stand up* for Persia, and the fourth one go gather plenty-plenty property pass all the other ones. And when im property don make-am strong, e go use everything wey e get to fight against the kingdom of Greece.
3 “And one strong king go stand up and e go rule plenty-plenty lands* and do as e want.
4 But when e don stand up, them go break im kingdom and them go divide-am go the four directions* of the heavens, but no be im children* go get-am and them no go rule with the kind power wey e use rule, because them go uproot im kingdom and give-am to other people apart from this ones.
5 “And the king of the south go come dey strong, this one na, one of im leaders;* but another one go win-am and e go rule with great power, wey pass the power wey that one de use rule.
6 “After some years them go join together to make agreement, and the daughter of the king of the south go come meet the king of the north to make agreement.* But the daughter go lose the power of im hand; and the king no go stand, im hand too no go stand; and them go surrender the daughter together with the people wey bring-am come, and the person wey born-am, and the person wey de make-am strong those days.
7 And one young plant from the roots of the daughter go stand up for im* position, and e go come meet the army and come against the strong protection of the king of the north and e go fight against them and win.
8 And with their gods, with their images wey them make with metal,* with their things wey get value wey them make with silver and gold, and with the things* wey them carry comot, e go come Egypt. For some years e go dey far from the king of the north,
9 wey go come against the kingdom of the king of the south, but wey go go back to im own land.
10 “As for im sons, them go prepare for war and gather army wey plenty and get power. E go surely move go front and sweep the land like flood water. But e go go back, and e go fight war go reach the place wey im strong protection dey.
11 “And the king of the south go vex no be small and e go comot go fight with-am, this one na, the king of the north; and e go gather plenty-plenty people, but them go put the plenty people for the hand of that one.
12 And them go carry the plenty people comot. E go raise imself high for im heart, and e go make plenty thousands of people to fall; but e no go use im strong position.
13 “And the king of the north go come back and gather plenty people wey pass the first one; and for the end of the days, after some years, e go surely come with big army and with plenty things to use.
14 For those days, plenty people go stand up against the king of the south.
“And them go carry the people wey de like fight-fight* among your people, together with them, so that them fit try to make wetin one vision talk happen; but them go fall.
15 “And the king of the north go come and build wall round to attack and win the city wey get strong protection. And the hands* of the south no go stand, and even the men wey e select no go stand; and them no go get any power to stand.
16 The person wey de come against-am go do as e want, and nobody go stand for im front. E go stand for the Beautiful Land,* and power to destroy finish go dey im hand.
17 E go decide* to come with the full force of im kingdom, and e go make agreement* with-am and e go do wetin e want do well. As for the daughter of women, them go allow-am to destroy the daughter, and the daughter no go stand, and e no go continue to be im own.
18 E go turn im face back to the lands wey near sea and e go take over many places. And one commander go stop the shame wey that person bring ontop-am, so that im shame no go dey. The commander* go make-am turn back ontop that one.
19 Then e go turn im face back to the cities wey get strong protection for im own land, and e go stagger and fall, but them no go see-am.
20 “And person wey de collect tax* go stand up for the position of that one, to pass inside the fine kingdom, but after few days them go break-am, but no be with vex or with war.
21 “And the one wey them hate* go stand up for the position of that one, and them no go give-am the glory of the kingdom; and e go come for time wey people de feel safe* and use lie-lie* seize the kingdom.
22 And them go sweep the armies* wey be like flood comot because of-am, and them go break them; just as them go break the Leader of the agreement.
23 And because them don join hand* with-am, e go de do cunning-cunning things and go stand up and dey strong with the help of one small nation.
24 For the time wey people de feel safe,* e go come inside the parts wey rich pass* for the area and do wetin im papa them and their papa them no do. E go share the things wey them pack and the better things wey them carry and the property among them; and e go plan im wicked plans against the places wey get strong protection, but na only for some time.
25 “And e go gather im power and im heart against the king of the south with big army, and the king of the south go prepare imself for the war with army wey big and strong no be small. And e no go stand, because them go plan wicked plans against-am.
26 And people wey de chop im better-better food go make-am fall.
“As for im army, them go sweep-am* comot, and plenty people go die.
27 “As for this two kings, their heart go de always move them to do wetin bad, and them go sitdown for one table de lie to each other. But nothing go succeed, because the end no go come until the correct time.
28 “And e go go back to im land with plenty-plenty property, and im heart go dey against the holy agreement. E go do wetin e want do well and go back to im land.
29 “For the correct time e go come back and attack the south. But this time no go be as e be before,
30 because the ships of Kitʹtim go come against-am, and them go bring-am down.
“E go go back and bring judgment against* the holy agreement and do wetin e want do well; and e go go back and put im mind for the people wey de leave the holy agreement.
31 And armies* go stand up, wey go come from-am; and them go dirty the holy place, the strong protection, and remove the sacrifice wey them de do everytime.*
“And them go set the yamayama thing* wey de cause destruction.
32 “And e go use sweet words* to lead the people wey de do wicked things against the agreement, to turn against God. But the people wey know their God go dey strong and do wetin them want do well.
33 And the ones wey get deep sense among the people go make plenty people understand. And them go make them fall as them go use sword and fire, as them go carry them go as slave, and pack their property for some days.
34 But when them don make them fall, them go give them small help; and plenty people go use sweet talk* to join them.
35 And them go make some of the people wey get deep sense fall, so that people go dey pure because of them and to clean people and make them white until the time of the end; because e no go come until the correct time.
36 “The king go do as e want, and e go raise imself high and praise imself pass every god; and e go talk things wey de shock person against the God of gods. And e go succeed until the vex don finish; because wetin them don decide must happen.
37 E no go show any respect for the God of im papa them; and e no go show respect for wetin women like or for any other god, instead e go praise imself pass everybody.
38 And* e go praise the god of strong protection; e go use gold and silver and stones wey get value and better-better things* to praise god wey im papa them no know.
39 E go do wetin e want do well against the places wey get strong protection, together with* lie-lie god. E go give big honor to people wey de support-am,* and e go make them rule among plenty people; and e go share* the ground for any person wey pay something.
40 “For the time of the end, the king of the south and the king of the north go de push each other,* and the king of the north go come against-am with chariots and horsemen and many ships like strong breeze; and e go enter inside the lands and sweep-am like flood water.
41 E go still enter inside the Beautiful Land,* and them go make many lands fall. But na this ones go escape comot from im hand: Eʹdom and Moʹab and the main part of Amʹmon people.
42 And e go continue to use im powerful hand* against the lands; and as for the land of Egypt, e no go escape.
43 And e go take over the better-better things wey them make with gold and silver wey hide and all the things wey get value for Egypt. And Libʹy·a people and E·thi·oʹpi·a people go follow-am.*
44 “But reports from the east* and from the north go disturb-am, and e go comot with serious vex to wipe and destroy plenty people.
45 And e go put im king tents* to stand strong between the great sea and the holy mountain of the Beautiful Land;* and e go come until e reach im end, and nobody go dey to help-am.
