Daniel 10:1-21
10 For the third year of Cyrus wey be king of Persia, Daniel, wey them de call Bel·te·shazʹzar see wetin God show-am; and the message dey correct, and na about one serious fight. And e understand the message and them make-am really know wetin e don see.
2 That time, me, Daniel, don de mourn for three full weeks.
3 I no chop any better food, and no meat or wine enter my mouth, and I no rub any oil for my body for three full weeks.
4 For the 24th day of the first month, when I dey the side of the great river, wey be Tiʹgris,*
5 I look up and see one man wey wear linen cloth, and one belt wey them make with gold from Uʹphaz dey around im waist.
6 Im body de shine like chrysʹo·lite stone, im face de shine like thunder light, im eyes be like fire sticks wey get fire, im hands and im feet be like copper wey them polish, and the sound of the things wey e de talk be like the sound of plenty people.
7 Na only me, Daniel, see the vision; the men wey dey with me no see the vision. But strong fear hold them, and them run comot go hide.
8 Then na only me come dey, and when I see this great vision, no power remain for my body and the way I be for body just change, and all my power comot from my body.
9 Then I hear the sound of wetin e de talk; but as I hear-am de talk, sleep carry me go as I lie down face ground.
10 But one hand touch me, and shake me to get up with my hands and knees.
11 Then e tell me say:
“O Daniel, you be really special man,* put mind for the things wey I want tell you. Now stand up for the place wey you dey, because them don send me to you.”
When e tell me this one, I stand up, de shake.
12 Then e tell me say: “Make you no fear, O Daniel. God don hear the things wey you talk from the first day wey you decide for your heart to understand this things, and to carry your body down for front of your God, and I don come because of the things wey you talk.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia stand against me for 21 days. But Miʹcha·el,* one of the main prince,* come help me; and I stay there, near the kings of Persia.
14 I don come to make you understand wetin go happen to your people for the last part of the days, because na vision about wetin go happen for future.”
15 Now when e tell me this things, I turn face ground and I no fit talk anything.
16 Then one person wey be like man touch my lips, and I open my mouth and tell the person wey stand for my front say: “My lord, I de shake because of the vision, and I no get power again.
17 So how me, wey be servant of my lord fit talk with my lord? Because now I no get power again, and e de hard me to breathe.”
18 The person wey be like man touch me again and make me strong.
19 Then e talk say: “Make you no fear, O you wey be really special man.* Make you get peace. Dey strong, yes, dey strong.” As e talk with me, I get power talk say: “Make my lord talk, because you don make me strong.”
20 Then e talk say: “You know why I don come meet you? Now I go go back to fight with the prince of Persia. When I comot, the prince of Greece go come.
21 But I go tell you the things wey them don write down for inside the book of truth. E no get anybody wey de really support me well for this things apart from Miʹcha·el, una prince.
