“My Father want anybody who accept the Son and show faith in him to get everlasting life.”—John 6:40.

For us to benefit from Jesus flesh and blood, we need to put faith in the ransom. (Eph. 1:7) The people who Jesus call the “other sheep” must not eat the bread or drink the wine during the Memorial. (John 10:16) But they can still benefit from Jesus flesh and blood. They can do it by showing faith in Jesus ransom sacrifice and the benefit it will bring. (John 6:53) But the people who suppose to eat the bread and drink the wine, that people who part of the new covenant or agreement and get the hope to rule with Jesus in heaven. So whether we anointed or other sheep, We see that it important for us to show faith so we can get everlasting life. w24.12 13 ¶14, 16

“Yor must not be scare, small group of sheep, because your Father na agree to give yor the Kingdom.”—Luke 12:32.

During the Lord Evening Meal, Jesus gave the bread to his apostles and tell them that it stand for his body. Then he gave them the wine and say that it stand for the “blood of the covenant.” (Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:20; 1 Cor. 11:24) He made this new covenant or agreement only with “the house of [spiritual] Israel” who will be “in the Kingdom of God.”(Heb. 8:6, 10; 9:15) During the Lord Evening Meal, Jesus wor only talking about the “little flock.” That small group started with his faithful apostles who wor in the room with him. That them will rule with Jesus in heaven. w24.12 11 ¶9-10

“God love the world so much he give his only Son who he made by hisself, so that anybody who show faith in him will not be destroy but get everlasting life.”—John 3:16.

They betray Jesus, arrest him, cuss him and lie on his name. They say he wor guilty and they even suffer him bad way. The soldier people carry him to the place they suppose to kill him and nail him on the stake. While Jesus wor bearing all this pain, his Pa Jehovah wor also feeling pain too. He wor having the power to stop his Son from suffering but he not do it. That because of love. Jesus sacrifice prove that Jehovah really, really love you. Jehovah pass through all that pain just to free you from sin and death. (1 John 4:9, 10) Yes, he want help each of us to fight sin and win! w24.08 6 ¶13-14

“Christ suffered for you.—1 Pet. 2:21.

We can understand good-good that Jehovah really love us if we think about what he pass through to provide the ransom. Satan say nobody who serving God will remain faithful to Him when they going through problem. To prove that Satan lying, Jehovah allow Jesus to suffer before he die. (Job 2:1-5) Jehovah wor seeing the religious leaders playing fun out of his Son, the soldier people beating him, and they nail him to the stake. Then he also see how his dear Son suffer and die painful way. (Matt. 27:28-31, 39) Jehovah wor having the power to stop any of this thing dem from happening. (Matt. 27:42, 43) If Jehovah wor coming save his Son, Jesus wor not coming to die for us and we wor not coming get any hope. So Jehovah allow his Son to suffer until he die. w25.01 22 ¶7

“They saw him for 40 days.”—Acts 1:3.

On Nisan 16, 33 C.E., two of Jesus disciples were going to one village call Emmaus. One man came and started walking with them on the road. The disciples started telling him all the bad things that happen to Jesus. The man started telling them some things that they will never forget. “Starting with Moses and all the Prophets,” he explain to them why the Messiah suffer and die. When they reach to Emmaus, they get to know that the man they were talking with on the road, that was Jesus who God na resurrect! (Luke 24:13-35) Jesus appear to his disciples plenty times during his last 40 days on earth. During that time, Jesus encourage his disciples who were feeling bad and scary. So they were happy and brave to go preach and teach about God Kingdom. w24.10 12 ¶1-3

Memorial Bible reading: (Thing dem da happen during the day: Nisan 16) John 20:2-18

“Build yourselves up on your most holy faith.”—Jude 20.

Children can naturally grow up. But nobody can grow to be mature Christian without making any effort. For example, the brothers and sisters in Corinth accepted the good news, got baptize, receive holy spirit, and learn plenty good-good things from the apostle Paul. (Acts 18:8-11) But some years after they got baptize, plenty of them were not still mature. (1 Cor. 3:2) To be mature Christian, we must first get the desire to be mature. It can be hard for people who “love inexperience” and decide not to be mature to make spiritual progress. (Prov. 1:22) We not want be like people who na get big but still depending on their parents to make decisions for them. But we want work hard to make our own relationship with Jehovah more strong. If you still trying hard to be mature Christian, pray to Jehovah to give you “both the desire and the power to act”.—Phil. 2:13. w24.04 4 ¶9-10

“Jehovah . . . does not desire anyone to be destroyed.”—2 Pet. 3:9.

In the Bible, Jehovah tell us how he feel about judging people. (Ezek. 33:11) Jehovah not quick to destroy people forever, except he get good reason to do it. He really merciful, and he can show mercy anytime he see the need. Wetin we know about the people who will not be resurrected? That just few examples the Bible talk about. Jesus make it clear that Judas Iscariot will not be resurrected. (Mark 14:21; see also John 17:12 and study note.) Judas knew that what he was doing was against Jehovah and His Son, but he still do it. (See Mark 3:29 and study notes.) That the same way, Jesus say some of the religious leaders who were against him will not be having the hope to be resurrected when they die. (Matt. 23:33; see John 19:11 and study note “the man.”) And the apostle Paul warn apostates that if they not repent, they will not be resurrected.—Heb. 6:4-8; 10:29. w24.05 4 ¶10-11

“Jehovah protects the faithful.—Ps. 31:23.

When we remain close to Jehovah, Satan can’t do anything that will harm us forever. (1 John 3:8) In the new world, Jehovah will continue to protect his faithful friends from anything that will spoil their friendship with him and from death. (Rev. 21:4) That real honor to be guest in Jehovah tent. We can enjoy close friendship with him that can last forever. (Ezek. 37:27) What we must do if we want continue to be Jehovah guests? If somebody invite you to their house, ehn you will want know what the person want you to do? That the same way we want know what Jehovah want us to do if we want continue to be guests in his tent. Our love for Jehovah can make us to want do everything in our power “to please him fully.” (Col. 1:10) We must always respect him and never forget that he our God. This deep respect will help us to avoid doing anything that will make him feel bad and to always “walk in modesty” with our God.—Mic. 6:8. w24.06 4 ¶8-9

“He interceded for the transgressors.”—Isa. 53:12.

Jehovah tell Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. Even though this one wor really hard for Abraham to do, he wor still willing to do it. But God stop him. That example teach us something really important. Jehovah wor coming be willing to sacrifice his own Son who he really love. It show that Jehovah really love human being. (Gen. 22:1-18) Plenty years after that, when Jehovah gave the law to the Israelite dem, he tell them to make plenty animal sacrifices for their sins. (Lev. 4:27-29; 17:11) This animal sacrifice dem show that Jehovah wor coming provide one sacrifice that will save people from sin altogether. God tell his prophet dem to explain that the offspring, who turn out to be God own son wor coming suffer and die to save human being from sin and death, including you!—Isa. 53:1-12. w24.08 4 ¶7-8

“How I do love your law! I ponder over it all day long.”—Ps. 119:97.

When you do your Bible reading, make sure to look for ways to do what you learn. When you reading certain part of the Bible, stop and ask yourself this question, ‘The thing them I reading, how I can apply them now-now and in the future?’ For example, let say you reading 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 18. After you finish reading this two Bible verses, maybe you can stop small and think about how many time you can pray and whether it really coming from your heart. You can also think about some thing them that you grateful for. Maybe you decide that you will tell Jehovah thank you for three things he do for you. Even if you just spend small time to think on what you read, at least it will help you to understand the Bible and do what it say. When you do it like this every day, you will benefit when you reading other part of the Bible! Yes, you will improve in doing what you learn from the Bible. w24.09 4-5 ¶9-10

“Look out for yourselves, so that you do not lose the things we have worked to produce, but that you may obtain a full reward.”—2 John 8.

Jehovah made us in the way that we able to give. Even though we can be happy when people do good for us, but we can even be more happy when we do good for other people. We can feel good when we help our brother and sister them. And we can be happy when they tell us thank you. But whether the person we help say thank you or not, we can be happy because we do the right thing. Remember that anything you gave, Jehovah get the means to give you more than that. (2 Chron. 25:9) Nobody can give more than Jehovah! And Jehovah blessing can make us more happy than anything you think about. So let continue trying our best to be free handed like our heavenly Father, Jehovah. w24.09 31 ¶20-21

“I praise you, O Jehovah my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify your name forever.”—Ps. 86:12.

Jehovah can show us mercy and feel sorry for us. (Ps. 103:13; Isa. 49:15) When we feeling bad, he can put his self in our shoe. (Zech. 2:8) He make it easy for us to draw close to him and be his friend. (Ps. 25:14; Acts 17:27) And he humble, “he stoops down to look on heaven and earth, raising the lowly from the dust.” (Ps. 113:6, 7) Ehn all this one dem must move us to give God honor? We give Jehovah honor because we want other people to know him. Plenty people not know the truth about Jehovah. Why? Because Satan fooling them by talking all kindna lie-lie thing dem about Jehovah. (2 Cor. 4:4) Satan finish making people to feel that Jehovah can’t forgive, he not care for us, and he making people to suffer. But we know the truth about our God! We get the opportunity to tell people the truth about him and help them to praise him too.—Isa. 43:10. w25.01 3 ¶6-7

“Satan . . . is misleading the entire inhabited earth.”—Rev. 12:9.

Even though God Son Jesus was perfect and he perform plenty miracles, Satan use his people to say all kind na lie-lie things about him. For example, Jesus use to expel demons. So, some religious leaders started saying that Jesus got his power from “the ruler of the demons.” (Mark 3:22) When they carry Jesus to court, the religious leaders say that he not get respect for God. So they convince the people to kill Jesus. (Matt. 27:20) Later on, when Jesus followers were preaching the good news, God enemies make the people to go against them and started persecuting them. (Acts 14:2, 19) Talking about Acts 14:2, the December 1, 1998 Watchtower say: “Some Jews refuse to listen to the message the Christians were preaching. So they started saying all kind na wicked-wicked things about the Christians so people can hate them.” Today, Satan still “misleading the entire inhabited earth.” w24.04 11 ¶15-16

“Will the Judge of all the earth not do what is right?”—Gen. 18:25.

For somebody to live forever, it not depend on when he die. Jehovah that the perfect Judge. His decisions always fair and right. (Ps. 33:4, 5) We can be sure that “the Judge of all the earth” will do the right thing. We can also say that for somebody to live forever, it not depend on where he living. Plenty people live in areas where they were not having the opportunity to learn about the good news. We must never think that Jehovah will just judge them as “goats.” (Matt. 25:46) The righteous Judge for all the earth care for this people them even more then we care for them. We not know how Jehovah will make things happen during the great tribulation. Maybe some of this people will get the opportunity to learn about Jehovah, put faith in him, and take his side when he make everybody to know his name.—Ezek. 38:16. w24.05 12 ¶14-15

“Love each other.”—John 15:12.

Jehovah people like helping each other. (2 Cor. 8:4) But sometime we need to be brave to do it. For example, when war fighting, the elder them in that area can do their best to encourage and support their brothers and sisters. Sometime they can give them publications, food, clothes and place to stay. Because the elders love their brothers, they can try their best to give them what they need even when it risky. In time like this, it important for us to remain united. Obey the direction from the branch office in your area. (Heb. 13:17) Elders must always go over the directions about how to prepare for disaster and what to do when it happen. (1 Cor.14:33, 40) Be brave but be careful. (Prov. 22:3) Think before you act. Try your best to be save. Depend on Jehovah. And He can give you the strength to help your brother them to be save. w24.07 4 ¶8; 5 ¶11

“In my distress I called on Jehovah, . . . and my cry to him for help reached his ears.”—Ps. 18:6.

King David knew Jehovah and he use to rely on Him. When King Saul and other people try to kill David, he pray to Jehovah for help. When God answer his prayer and save him, David say: “Jehovah is alive!” (Ps. 18:46) Wetin David mean? One book say that David was showing how he was convince that Jehovah “that the living God who can always take action to help his people.” Yes, David knew from his own experience that Jehovah that the living God, and because of that it encourage him to continue serving Jehovah. (Ps. 18:28, 29, 49) When we convince that Jehovah that the living God, it can help us to serve him with zeal. We will get the strength to bear any problem and we will continue to work hard for Jehovah. Also, we will fight hard to remain close to Jehovah. w24.06 20-21 ¶3-4

“Let no one lead you astray in any way.”—2 Thess. 2:3.

Wetin we can learn from the letter the apostle Paul write to the Thessalonians? When we hear something that not in line with what we learn from the Bible or when we hear news that surprise us, we must be wise. In the former Soviet Union, one time our enemies gave the brother them one letter. They say it was coming from world headquarters. The letter encourage the brother them to form their own organization. The letter was really looking like it was true. But the letter not fool the brothers who were faithful. They knew that the thing the letter say was not in line with what they learn from the Bible. Today too, our enemies can use thing them like the internet and social media to try hard to confuse and divide us. But we must not be “quickly shaken from [our] reason.” We can protect our self by thinking good-good whether the thing we hear or read in line with the truth we already na learn.—2 Thess. 2:2; 1 John 4:1.w24.07 12 ¶14-15

“If anyone does commit a sin, we have a helper.”—1 John 2:1.

The most important decision that anybody can make that to give their life to Jehovah, and be part of His family that worshiping him. Jehovah want everybody to do this one. Why? He want them to enjoy good friendship with him and live forever. (Deut. 30:19, 20; Gal. 6:7, 8.) But Jehovah can’t force anybody to serve him. He want everybody to decide for their self. Suppose one baptize publisher break God law by committing serious sin? If he refuse to repent, they will move him from the congregation. (1 Cor. 5:13) But still, Jehovah get hope that the person will come back to him. In fact, that the reason why he gave the ransom so he can forgive people who repent. (1 John 2:1) Our loving God really encouraging the people dem who sin to repent.—Zech. 1:3; Rom. 2:4; Jas. 4:8. w24.08 14 ¶1-2

“If your heart becomes wise, then my own heart will rejoice.”—Prov. 23:15.

By the time the apostle John write his third letter, some people wor spreading false teachings and dividing the congregation. But, other people continue “walking in the truth.” They obey Jehovah and continue “walking according to his commandments.” (2 John 4, 6) This faithful Christian dem made John happy and made Jehovah happy too. (Prov. 27:11) What the lesson for us? When we remain faithful it can make us happy. (1 John 5:3) For example, we can be happy when we know that we making Jehovah happy. Jehovah can really be happy when we avoid doing bad things and obey him. The angel dem in heaven can also be happy. (Luke 15:10) We too can be happy when we see our brother and sister dem remaining faithful. (2 Thess. 1:4) Then when Jehovah destroy Satan world, we will be happy that we remain faithful to Jehovah. w24.11 12 ¶17-18

“Let each one keep seeking, not his own advantage, but that of the other person.”—1 Cor. 10:24.

How long you must look at the person before you tell them you get interest in them? If you tell the person too soon, it could make the person to feel that you can’t think good-good before making decision. (Prov. 29:20) But if you take too long, then the person could think that you not too sure about what you want, especially if the person know you get interest in them. (Eccl. 11:4) Remember, you not need to be convince that you will marry the person before you can tell them that you get interest in them. But you must be convince that you ready to marry, and that the other person can be good marriage mate for you. What if you get to know that somebody get interest in you? If you not get interest in the person, try to make it clear by the way you treat the person. It will not be good for you to make the person think that you want date them, when you know you not get interest in them.—Eph. 4:25. w24.05 22-23 ¶9-10

“I will come back and carry yor to the place I eh.”—John 14:3

Only anointed Christians who really faithful Jesus will accept to rule with him in heaven. Any anointed Christian who not continue to keep on the watch, will not be together with the “chosen ones.” (Matt. 24:31) All those who get the hope to live on the earth must also take Jesus warning serious. They must continue to keep on the watch and remain faithful. We trust the way Jehovah can judge because we know him good-good. We must not worry our self if Jehovah decide to anoint some faithful people in our time. We remember what Jesus say about the people who came to work last minute to time in his example about the vineyard. (Matt. 20:1-16) The people who work last minute to time and the people who came to work soon, get the same pay. So, no matter what time somebody get anointed, all of them will get the same reward in heaven if they remain faithful. w24.09 24 ¶15-17

“Christ suffered for you, leaving a model for you to follow his steps closely.”—1 Pet. 2:21.

Jesus set good example about how to bear it when people treat us bad. Let look at how Jesus own family and other people treat him bad. His family member dem who wor not serving Jehovah say that Jesus wor not to his self. The religious leaders say that Jesus and the demons wor working together. Then the Roman soldiers make fun out of him, beat him and even kill him. (Mark 3:21, 22; 14:55; 15:16-20, 35-37) But, Jesus bear everything and he not pay his debt. Wetin we can learn from his example? (1 Pet. 2:21-23) Jesus set good example for us to follow when people treat us bad. He knew what time to talk and what time to not talk. (Matt. 26:62-64) Sometime Jesus not use to talk when people say lie-lie things about him. (Matt. 11:19) But when he decide to talk, he not use to cuss the people who treat him bad or threaten them. w24.11 4-5 ¶9-10

“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.”—1 Tim. 1:15.

Imagine that you give somebody you love one special gift that fine and useful. Ehn you will feel bad if the person just put it somewhere and forget about it? But you will be happy if the person use the gift and tell you thank you for it. What the point? Jehovah na give his Son to die for us. Jehovah will really be happy when we tell him thank you for that precious gift and for his love that made him to give us the ransom! (John 3:16; Rom. 5:7, 8) But after some time, maybe we will start looking at the ransom to not be important gift again. If we do it, it will be just like we putting God beautiful gift somewhere and just forget about it. To stop this one from happening, we must always think about all the good-good thing dem God and Jesus Christ na do for us. w25.01 26 ¶1-2

“Ponder over these things; be absorbed in them, so that your advancement may be plainly seen by all people.”—1 Tim. 4:15.

The brother who qualify to be elder not newly converted man. Even though you not need to be baptize for long time before you be elder, you need time to be mature Christian. Before you be elder, you must show that you humble and willing to wait on Jehovah for any assignment, just like Jesus. (Matt. 20:23; Phil. 2:5-8) You can show that you loyal by sticking to Jehovah, living by what he say and following direction from his organization. The Bible make it clear that overseers must be qualified to teach. You think this one mean that you must be good public speaker? No. Even though plenty qualify elders not good public speakers, they know how to teach good in the field service and they can do good shepherding visits. w24.11 23-24 ¶14-15

“I love your commandments more than gold, even fine gold.”—Ps. 119:127.

When you read something in the Bible that you not really understand, do research. Then during the day, think on what you learn and what it tell you about Jehovah, his Son, and the love they get for you. (Ps. 119:97, ftn.) Anytime you reading the Bible or doing research and you not find something new or interesting, don’t be discourage. It just like people who trying to find gold. They can be patient and spend plenty hours before they can even find small gold. But they can continue digging because every small gold important to them. So every small thing we learn from the Bible more important than gold! (Prov. 8:10) So be patient and stick to your Bible reading schedule.—Ps. 1:2. w25.01 25 ¶14-15

“Just as Jehovah freely forgave you, you must also do the same.”—Col. 3:13.

Jehovah want us to be ready to forgive people who make us to feel bad. (Ps. 86:5; Luke 17:4; Eph. 4:32) It can really hurt us when somebody say or do something that make us feel bad, especially if the person that our close friend or family member. (Ps. 55:12-14) Sometime, the pain we can feel can be like when somebody juke us with knife. (Prov. 12:18) Maybe we will try to pretend like we not feeling bad. But when we do it, it can be just like when somebody juke us and we leave the knife in the sore. That the same way we must not expect our bad feelings to go away if we pretend that everything alright. When somebody make us feel bad, maybe the first thing we can do that to get vex. The Bible say it not wrong to get vex. But it also say we must not allow our vexation to control us. (Ps. 4:4; Eph. 4:26) Why? Because it can be hard for us to say or do good thing when we vex. (Jas. 1:20) Remember, it can’t be easy to control the way we will act when something just happen. But it leave with us to decide whether we will continue to be vex or not. w25.02 15 ¶4-6

“Wisdom preserves the life of its owner.”—Eccl. 7:12.

Jesus gave one example that show how it not good to just focus on keeping money without having “good friendship with God.” (Luke 12:16-21) Nobody know tomorrow. (Prov. 23:4, 5; Jas. 4:13-15) And for us who following Jesus, we can face one problem that other people can’t face. Jesus say to be his disciples, we must be ready to “leave” the thing dem we get, behind. (Luke 14:33, footnote.) Way back in Judea, the Christian dem wor happy to do this one. (Heb. 10:34) That the same way today, plenty brothers and sisters na lost their material things or their job because they refuse to put their hand in politics. (Rev. 13:16, 17) Wetin help them to do this one? They put their whole trust in what Jehovah say here: “I will never leave you, and I will never abandon you.” (Heb. 13:5) It good to plan for the future. But if something that we not expecting happen, we must trust that Jehovah will help us. w25.03 29 ¶13-14

“Now that we have moved beyond the primary doctrine about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying a foundation again.”—Heb. 6:1.

Jehovah not expect us to be mature on our own. He na give us shepherds and teachers in the Christian congregation who can help us to be mature Christian. (Eph. 4:11-13) Jehovah also give us his holy spirit to help us “think like Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor. 2:14-16) Beside that, God direct people to write the four Gospels to show us how Jesus use to think, speak and do things the time he was on earth. When you follow the way Jesus use to think and do things, you will be able to reach your goal to be mature Christian. But for us to grow to be mature Christian, we must not just be satisfy with the first things we learn about Jesus Christ. w24.04 4-5 ¶11-12

“Thinking ability will keep watch over you, and discernment will safeguard you.”—Prov. 2:11.

We can make decisions every day. Some of them can be easy to make, like what to eat in the morning or when to go to bed. But some decision dem can be hard to make. Why? Because maybe it will affect our health, our happiness, our family, or our worship. We want our decisions to benefit we and our family. But the most important one that for our decisions to make Jehovah happy. (Rom. 12:1, 2) One important thing that can help us to make good decision that to get all the information. Why it important? Think about the patient who seriously sick and go to the doctor. You think the doctor will just give him treatment without checking him or asking him questions? No. That the same way you will make good decisions if you first get all the information about the matter. w25.01 14 ¶1-3

“Jehovah . . . forgives your sin. You will not die.”—2 Sam. 12:13.

Wetin we know about Jehovah mercy? Jehovah that merciful God, and he not want for anybody to be destroy. (2 Pet. 3:9) How he na show mercy to some people who commit serious sins? King David commit some serious sins like adultery and killing. But David repent, so Jehovah show him mercy and forgave him. (2 Sam. 12:1-12) King Manasseh did plenty wicked things in his life. With all the wicked things he did, when he repent Jehovah show him mercy and forgave him. (2 Chron. 33:9-16) This example them remind us that Jehovah can show mercy when he get good reason to do it. He will bring people them like this back to life because, when they got to know that they commit serious sins, they change their ways. w24.05 4 ¶12
