“For you, O Jehovah, are good and ready to forgive.”—Ps. 86:5.

We already benefiting from Jesus Christ ransom sacrifice. For example, because of the ransom, Jehovah can forgive our sins. He not force to forgive us. But he want do it. (Ps. 103:3, 10-13) Sometime, some people can feel that they not fit for Jehovah to forgive them. To talk the truth, all of us not fit for Jehovah to forgive us. The apostle Paul understand that he wor not fit to be call apostle. But he also say, “By God’s undeserved kindness I am what I am.” (1 Cor. 15:9, 10) When we repent from our sins, Jehovah can forgive us. Why? He can do it because he love us and not because we work for it. But if you feeling sad because you thinking that you not fit for Jehovah to forgive you, remember that Jehovah gave the ransom for people who repent and not for perfect people.—Luke 5:32; 1 Tim. 1:15. w25.01 26-27 ¶3-4

A kind man benefits himself, but the cruel person brings trouble on himself.—Prov. 11:17.

We can’t control what other people can say or do to us, but we can try to control the way we will act. And most of the time the best way to act that to forgive. Why? Because we love Jehovah, and he want us to forgive. If we continue to be vex and not forgive, maybe we will act foolish and suffer our self. (Prov. 14:17, 29, 30) When we stop keeping grudge, it can help us to not always be vex. We will also be doing good for our self. It will help us to stop focusing on what the person do and we will start enjoying our life again. How you can overcome bad feelings? One way that to allow some time to pass. When somebody who hurt get treatment, it will take time for the person to get better. That the same way it will take time for us to overcome our bad feelings before we be ready to forgive the person from our heart. (Eccl. 3:3; 1 Pet. 1:22) Pray to Jehovah and ask him to help you to forgive. w25.02 16-17 ¶8-11

“Solid food belongs to mature people.”—Heb. 5:14.

For example, teaching like repentance, faith, baptism, and resurrection, that the first thing dem we learn. (Heb. 6:1, 2) That some of the main teachings all true Christians believe. That the reason why the apostle Peter talk about all this thing them when he was preaching to the people on Pentecost. (Acts 2:32-35, 38) For us to be Jesus disciples, we need to accept all this teaching them. For example, Paul say anybody who not believe in the resurrection, can’t be Jesus disciple. (1 Cor. 15:12-14) So we must not be satisfy with the things we learn when we just started studying the Bible. The things we learn when we started studying the Bible, different from deep spiritual food that include Jehovah laws and Bible principles that can help us understand his thinking. To benefit from deep spiritual food, we must study the Bible, think on what we read and try our best to apply what we learn. When we do it, it will help us to make decisions that will make Jehovah happy. w24.04 5 ¶12-13

“The people from Nineveh will come back to life on Judgment Day.”—Matt. 12:41.

God remind Jonah that the Ninevites “not even know right from wrong.” (Jonah 1:1, 2; 3:10; 4:9-11) Later on, Jesus use that example to teach about Jehovah justice and mercy. What it mean that the Ninevites will “rise up in the judgment”? Jesus use to teach about the future “resurrection of judgment.” (John 5:29) He was talking about the time “the righteous and the unrighteous” will come back to life during his One Thousand Year Rule. (Acts 24:15) For the unrighteous, it will be “a resurrection of judgment.” That mean, after they come back to life, Jehovah and Jesus will be looking at them to see whether they will obey and apply the thing them they will learn. And if any of the Ninevite who will come back to life refuse to worship Jehovah, then Jehovah will destroy that person forever. (Isa. 65:20) But all those who will choose to worship Jehovah faithfully, will get the opportunity to live forever!—Dan. 12:2. w24.05 5 ¶13-14

“The Son of man came to look for people who wor lost so he can save them.”—Luke 19:10.

Jesus show to people that Jehovah really merciful. (John 14:9) From the way Jesus use to talk to people and treat them, we learn that his merciful Father love people and want help them. Jesus help imperfect people to want change their ways and follow him. (Luke 5:27, 28) Jesus knew what wor coming happen to him. He tell his disciple dem more than one time that somebody wor coming betray him and they wor coming kill him on the stake. (Matt. 17:22; 20:18, 19) He knew that his sacrifice wor coming take away people sin. Jesus also say that after he give his life, he wor coming “draw all sorts of men” to his self. (John 12:32) Imperfect people can make Jehovah happy by accepting Jesus to be their Lord and by following his example. If they do it, they will be “set free from sin” altogether. (Rom. 6:14, 18, 22; John 8:32) So Jesus wor willing and brave to go through that painful death.—John 10:17, 18. w24.08 5 ¶11-12

“People will preach the good news in all the nation dem first.”—Mark 13:10.

Think about how you were feeling the first time you learn the truth from God Word. You learn that your heavenly Father love you, he want you to be part of his family that worshipping him and he promise to end pain and suffering. He also gave you hope that you will see your people who na die coming back to life in the new world and you learn plenty other things. (Mark 10:29, 30; John 5:28, 29; Rom. 8:38, 39; Rev. 21:3, 4) The things you learn really touch your heart. (Luke 24:32) You love what you were learning, and you wanted to tell everybody about it! (Compare Jeremiah 20:9.) When Bible truth touch our heart, we can want tell everybody about it. (Luke 6:45) We can feel like Jesus disciple them in the first century who said: “We cannot stop speaking about the things we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:20) Because we love the truth so much, we can want share it with plenty people. w24.05 15 ¶5; 16 ¶7

“Serve Jehovah with rejoicing.”—Ps. 100:2.

We Jehovah witnesses can preach to people because we love our heavenly father and we want them to know him too. But some of our brothers and sisters can find it hard to enjoy the preaching work. Why? Some of them get shame face and they feel that they not able to teach good. Some of them can’t feel free to just go to people house when they not invite them. Some of them can be scary because they feel that people will not listen to them. Maybe some of them na learn to not make people vex. This brother and sister them can find it hard to preach to strangers. You can find it hard sometime to enjoy the field service because of feeling them like this? If that what can happen to you, don’t be discourage. The fact that you feeling like that, show that you humble and you not want people to focus on you too much. Nobody like for people to get vex with them, especially when they trying to help other people. Your heavenly Father know all the things you passing through and he want help you.—Isa. 41:13. w24.04 14 ¶1-2

“Wisdom is with the modest ones.”—Prov. 11:2

When you read the Bible, instead of trying to do everything one time, try to do them small-small. Maybe you can try this: Write the thing them you want work on and keep it. Take one or two and do it first. Then leave the other one for later on. Which one you want start with? You can decide to start with the goal that easy for you to reach. Or maybe you can decide to work on the one that you really need to improve on. When you decide which one to work on, do deep study in our publications. Pray about your goal. Ask Jehovah for “both the desire and the power to act.” (Phil. 2:13) Then try to do what you learn. When you see how you na improve on your first goal, it will encourage you to work on another one. When you see that you na improve on one Christian quality, it will be easy for you to work on the other one them. w24.09 6 ¶13-14

In every respect you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in this matter.—2 Cor. 7:11.

Maybe you feeling bad because you do some thing them before that hurt other people. Wetin can help you? Do what you able to do to solve the problem. You can even tell the person sorry. Ask Jehovah to help the people that you made to feel bad. Jehovah can help you and them to continue serving him and get peace again. Learn from the mistakes you made before, and allow Jehovah to use you the way he want use you. Let talk about the prophet Jonah example. Jehovah tell Jonah to go to Nineveh. But he run away and go different place. Jehovah discipline Jonah, and he learn from his mistake. (Jonah 1:1-4, 15-17; 2:7-10) Jehovah not give up on Jonah. God gave Jonah another chance to go to Nineveh. This time around, Jonah was quick to obey. Even though he was feeling bad about the mistake he made, he not allow it to stop him from accepting the assignment Jehovah gave him.—Jonah 3:1-3. w24.10 8-9 ¶10-11

So yor repent and change your ways so that God can forgive your sins, and Jehovah hisself will make yor strong again.—Acts 3:19.

Jehovah can’t just cancel our debts or sins, he can blot them out. To understand this one good-good, think about the ink the people use to write with way back. It wor easy to erase. Somebody can just take wet sponge and wipe the writing. So when they “blot somebody debt out,” it mean they erase it altogether. It wor not even possible to see that writing again. It just like the person not write anything. We so grateful to know that when Jehovah forgive our sins, it just like it never even happen!—Ps. 51:9. w25.02 10 ¶11

“Do not become upset and turn to doing evil.”—Ps. 37:8.

When people not treat us fair, we must trust that Jehovah know everything. Because we know Jehovah will solve the problem, our trust in him can help us to bear it when people not treat us fair. When we leave matter in Jehovah hand, it can help us to not be vex or keep grudge. Getting vex and keeping grudge can make us to do things that we not suppose to do. It can also make us to not be happy and it can spoil our friendship with Jehovah. That true, it not possible to do everything the same way Jesus do it. Sometime, we can say or do some thing dem that we can regret later on. (Jas. 3:2) And some things people can do to us can make us to feel bad for the rest of our life. If that what na happen to you, be convince that Jehovah know what you going through. And Jesus know how you feeling because he suffer from injustice too. (Heb. 4:15, 16) We happy that Jehovah na also gave us good-good advice that can help us to bear injustice. w24.11 6 ¶12-13

For God to be happy with yor, yor must put faith in the person who he send.”—John 6:29.

Exercising or showing faith in Jesus, that something people must do to get “everlasting life.” (John 3:16-18, 36; 17:3) Plenty Jews not believe that they suppose to exercise or show faith in Jesus. So they ask him: “What are you performing as a sign, so that we may see it and believe you?” (John 6:30) They start talking about how their people in Moses time use to get manna, and that what they use to eat every day. (Neh. 9:15; Ps. 78:24, 25) So it clear that they wor only focusing on food business. They not even ask Jesus to explain what he mean when he say, “the true bread from heaven” that can give them everlasting life. And this true bread from heaven wor different from the manna in Moses time. (John 6:32) They wor just focusing on food business and they wor not even having time to try to understand what Jesus wor teaching them. w24.12 5-6 ¶10-11

“The one who constructed all things is God.”—Heb. 3:4.

In science class, your children will learn plenty other designs in creation and it will help them to know that somebody make them to be like that. For example, Jehovah design more trees with the same pattern. The trunk can split to big-big branches then after some time, the small-small branches can grow on the big-big branches. This type of pattern, that what they call fractal. You can find this same pattern in some other thing dem that God made. But who design all this beautiful patterns in creation? The more your child think about this question dem, maybe it will make your child more convince that God made everything. And when your children be getting big, maybe you can ask them this question, “If that God who made us, you not think it will be good for him to tell us what we can do to be happy?” Then you can tell them that they can find all the good-good advice that God gave in the Bible. w24.12 16 ¶8

Sexual immorality is reported among you, and such immorality as is not even found among the nations—of a man living with his father’s wife.—1 Cor. 5:1.

Jehovah use the apostle Paul to write one letter to the congregation. He tell them to move any man who refuse to repent from the congregation. (1 Cor. 5:13) How faithful Christians suppose to treat him? Paul tell them “to stop keeping company” with him. What that one mean? Paul say this direction also mean that they must “not even eat with such a man.” (1 Cor. 5:11) When you sit down to eat with somebody, it can make you to spend more time lecturing with the person. So, it clear that Paul mean that the brothers and sisters in the congregation must not spend time with that person, like lecturing or having entertainment with them. This one will protect the congregation from his bad example. (1 Cor. 5:5-7) Beside that, when we not be close to that person, maybe it will make him to know that he na make Jehovah feel bad. And maybe it will make him to feel sorry for the thing he do and come back. w24.08 15 ¶4-5

“God love the world so much he give his only Son who he made by hisself.”—John 3:16.

The Israelites use to celebrate one special day every year. They call it Atonement Day. On that day, the high priest use to make animal sacrifice for the people sins. But animal sacrifice wor not really able to cover or free the Israelites from their sin, because human being important pass animal. But so long the Israelites who repent offer the sacrifices that make Jehovah happy, he wor willing to forgive them. (Heb. 10:1-4) That arrangement remind them that they wor sinners. But wetin Jehovah do to forgive human being sins for good? He make it possible for his Son who he really love to be “offered once for all time to bear the sins of many.” (Heb. 9:28) Jesus gave “his life as ransom to free plenty people.”—Matt. 20:28. w25.02 4 ¶9-10

“Yor keep on the watch and continue to pray so that yor can’t fall in temptation.”—Matt. 26:41.

“The spirit, of course, is eager, but the flesh is weak.” (Matt. 26:41b) From what Jesus say, it show that he understand that we not perfect and we can make mistake. But he was also warning us that we must not trust our self too much. That same night before Jesus say this one, the disciples promise that they will never move from behind him. (Matt. 26:35) It show that they wanted to do the right thing. But they never knew how it was coming be easy for them to do the wrong thing when they under pressure. So Jesus gave them the advice in the theme scripture for today daily text. Sad to say, the disciples not keep on the watch. When they arrest Jesus, you think his disciples stay with him or they were scary and run away? Because they not keep on the watch, the disciples do the same thing they say they will never do, they move from behind Jesus.—Matt. 26:56. w24.07 14 ¶1-2

“We became reconciled to God through the death of his Son.”—Rom. 5:10.

Adam and Eve also lost their good friendship with their Father Jehovah. First, they wor part of God family. (Luke 3:38) But when they disobey Jehovah, he move them from his family before they start borning children. (Gen. 3:23, 24; 4:1) None of his children wor qualify to be part of God family. So we needed help to be reconcile to Jehovah. (Rom. 5:10, 11) That mean, we need to get good friendship with Jehovah again. According to one reference work, the Greek word they use here for “reconcile” can mean to “make your enemy to be your friend.” It interesting to know that Jehovah wor the first to make us his friend. How he do it? That by means of the antonement arrangement Jehovah put in place for he and human being to get good friendship again. It involve changing one thing for another thing that get the same value. Like that, something that lost or spoil can be replace. w25.02 3-4 ¶7-8

Sadness in a godly way produces repentance leading to salvation.—2 Cor. 7:10.

The apostle Paul say that the “rebuke given by the majority [was] sufficient for such a man.” (2 Cor. 2:5-8) Paul mean that the discipline wor alright for the man who wor loving to his step ma (1 Cor. 5:1) Why? Because it made him to repent. (Heb. 12:11) Paul tell the congregation to: “Kindly forgive and comfort” their brother who sin, and “confirm their love for him.” Notice that Paul not just want the brother and sister dem to welcome the man back in the congregation. But he wanted them to show that they really love the man who repent, and they na forgive him by the things they say and do. Doing this one will show that they welcome him back to the congregation. w24.08 15 ¶4; 16-17 ¶6-8

“You were publicly exposed both to reproaches and to tribulations.”—Heb.10:33.

The apostle Paul was able to talk about what it really mean to bear persecution. He remind Christians that when they bearing problems, they need to depend on Jehovah and not on their self. Paul was brave and say: “Jehovah is my helper; I will not be afraid.” (Heb. 13:6) Some of our brother and sister them bearing persecution now-now. We can pray for them and sometime give them things that they need. The Bible make it clear that “all those desiring to live with godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus will also be persecuted.” (2 Tim. 3:12) For that reason, all of us need to prepare for the thing them that will soon happen. Let continue to trust in Jehovah and be convince that he will help us to bear any problem we will face. When the right time come, Jehovah will free all his faithful worshippers from the problems they going through.—2 Thess. 1:7, 8w24.09 13 ¶17-18

“Plenty people who hear the good news believe it and got baptize.”—Acts 18:8.

Wetin help the Corinthians to get baptize? (2 Cor. 10:4, 5) That God Word and his powerful holy spirit help them to make big change in their life. (Heb. 4:12) The people in Corinth who accept the good news about Christ wor able to stop some behavior dem like, drinking plenty liquor, stealing and immoral life. (1 Cor. 6:9-11) Some people in Corinth wor having big change to make in their life. But they not think that it wor too hard for them to overcome it so they can be Christians. They really try their best to get on the road that people passing on to get everlasting life. (Matt. 7:13, 14) If you fighting hard to overcome any bad habit so you can get baptize, don’t give up! Beg Jehovah for his holy spirit to help you to fight the desire to do bad thing. w25.03 6 ¶15-17

If any one of you is lacking in wisdom, let him keep asking God.—Jas.1:5.

Jehovah promise to give us the wisdom to understand whether certain decision will make him happy. He can give that wisdom “generously to all and without reproaching.” After you pray to Jehovah for direction, try to see how he will answer you. For example, let say you going somewhere and you lost. Ehn you will ask somebody who living in that area to help you? Suppose the person coming answer you, you will just move from there and start going? No. You will listen good-good to the directions the person giving you. That the same way after you ask Jehovah for wisdom, try to see his answer by finding Bible laws and advice that apply to your situation. For example, when you thinking whether to go to any get-together, maybe you can think about what the Bible say about wild parties and going around bad friends. You must also think about putting God Kingdom first instead of your own feelings.—Matt. 6:33; Rom. 13:13; 1 Cor. 15:33. w25.01 16 ¶6-7

“Look! My servants will eat, but you will go hungry.”—Isa. 65:13.

Isaiah prophecy show the big difference between how life looking for people in the spiritual paradise and people who not in the spiritual paradise. Jehovah been giving his people plenty spiritual food. He na give us his holy spirit, his Word the Bible, and plenty other spiritual food so that we can “eat, . . . drink, . . . [and] rejoice.” (Compare Revelation 22:17.) But the people who not in the spiritual paradise can “go hungry . . . , thirsty . . . , [and] suffer shame.” They not get any spiritual food. (Amos 8:11) Jehovah can give His people what they need, including spiritual food. (Joel 2:21-24) He can do it through the Bible, our Christian publications, our website, our meetings, assemblies, and conventions. We can benefit by making use of them every day. And because of that, we feel more healthy and refresh. w24.04 21 ¶5-6

“Let your words always be gracious.”—Col. 4:6.

If you want date somebody, you can arrange to tell them in public place or on the phone. Make it clear to the person that you want date them. (1 Cor. 14:9) And if the person say they want think about it, give them time. (Prov. 15:28) If the person say they not get interest, respect their feelings. Suppose somebody say they get interest in you? Maybe it was not easy for them to tell you. So be kind and show them respect. If you will need time to think about it, tell them. But you must try to answer the person soon. (Prov. 13:12) If you not get interest in the person, you must make it clear to them, but be kind. If you get interest in the person tell them. And yor discuss what yor will expect to happen when yor dating. Maybe what you expect will be different from what the other person expect. w24.05 23-24 ¶12-13

“I am coming against you in the name of Jehovah of armies.”—1 Sam. 17:45.

When David was still in his teen years, he went to visit the Israelites army camp. He notice that the soldier them was scary bad way because one Philistine giant name Goliath came to “taunt the battle line of Israel.” (1 Sam. 17:10, 11) The soldier them was scary bad way because they were focusing on how Goliath was big and the thing them he was saying. (1 Sam. 17:24, 25) But David was focusing on something else. David knew that Goliath was not only challenging Israel army, but he was also challenging “the battle line of the living God.” (1 Sam. 17:26) David was thinking about Jehovah. David trust that the God who help him when he was shepherd will help him again in this situation. Because David was sure that God was supporting him, he fight Goliath and he win!—1 Sam. 17:45-51. w24.06 21 ¶7

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.”—Isa. 41:10.

Think about how your life was coming be if you were not serving Jehovah. If you do it, it will help you to remain faithful to Jehovah and like the psalmist you will say: “As for me, drawing near to God is good for me.” (Ps. 73:28) During this last day, we able to face any problem that come our way because we “slave for a living and true God.” (1 Thess. 1:9) Our God that real Person who can always help those who worshipping him. He help his servant them in the past, and today too, he helping us. We will soon face the greatest tribulation on earth. But Jehovah will be with us. So let all of us “be of good courage and say: ‘Jehovah is my helper; I will not be afraid”—Heb. 13:5, 6w24.06 25 ¶17-18

“You will . . .see the distinction between a righteous person and a wicked person.”—Mal. 3:18.

The Bible talk about more than 40 men who use to be kings in Israel. The good king them do some bad things. Let talk about David who was good king. Jehovah say: “My servant David . . . walked after me with all his heart, doing only what was right in my eyes.” (1 Ki. 14:8) But he lay down with one marry woman, and made plan so they can kill her husband in the war. (2 Sam. 11:4, 14, 15) And also some king them who were not faithful to Jehovah do some good-good things. Let talk about Rehoboam. In Jehovah eyes, he “did what was bad.” (2 Chron. 12:14) But Rehoboam obey God direction for ten tribes to break away from his kingdom. He also made plenty cities in his kingdom strong to protect God people from their enemies. (1 Ki. 12:21-24; 2 Chron. 11:5-12) How Jehovah use to know whether the king faithful? Jehovah use to look at whether the king love him with his whole heart, whether the king use to repent from his heart when he do bad thing and whether the king use to worship Jehovah the right way. w24.07 20 ¶1-3

Go on bringing them up in the discipline and admonition of Jehovah.—Eph. 6:4.

Suppose baptize person who not reach 18 years old commit serious sin? The body of elders will arrange for two elders to meet with him and his Christian parents. The elders will find out wetin the parents already na do to help their child to repent. If the young person get good attitude and the parents helping him, then the two elders can just decide to allow the parents to continue helping their child. The elders know that God gave the parents the responsibility to correct their children. (Deut. 6:6, 7; Prov. 6:20; 22:6; Eph. 6:2-4) But from time to time, the elder dem will check with the parents to make sure that the young person getting the help they need. But suppose the baptize young person continue to do the wrong thing and refuse to repent? Then the elders will form one committee to meet with him and his Christian parents. w24.08 24 ¶18

“You will be more happy when you give to people than when people give to you.”—Acts 20:35.

All of us can be happy when somebody give us gift. But we can be more happy when we give to other people. By making us like this, Jehovah allow us to get control over our own happiness. We can be more happy when we look for different-different ways to give. Ehn that wonderful way here Jehovah made us? (Ps. 139:14) The Bible say giving can make us happy. So no wonder why the Bible describe Jehovah to be “the happy God.” (1 Tim. 1:11) He was the first to give and he the greatest Giver. That the reason why the apostle Paul say, because of him, “we have life and move and exist.” (Acts 17:28) Yes, “every good gift and every perfect present” coming from Jehovah. (Jas. 1:17) Maybe all of us want enjoy more happiness that can come from giving. We can get that kindna happiness by following Jehovah example to give.—Eph. 5:1. w24.09 26 ¶1-4

“To the extent we have made progress, let us go on walking orderly in this same course.”—Phil. 3:16.

After looking at some of the thing dem somebody can do to be elder, maybe some ministerial servants will be feeling that they will never qualify. But know that Jehovah and his organization not expect you to be perfect in showing this quality dem. (1 Pet. 2:21) And remember that Jehovah powerful holy spirit can help you to get this quality dem. (Phil. 2:13) You get any quality that you really want improve on? Pray to Jehovah about it. Do research on it, and ask one elder for help on how you can improve. Try hard to be elder. Ask Jehovah to train you and help you to be more useful in serving him and the congregation. (Isa. 64:8) Let Jehovah continue to bless all your hard work that you continue doing to qualify to be elder. w24.11 25 ¶17-18

“God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name by ministering and continuing to minister to the holy ones.”—Heb. 6:10.

None of us must feel that we suppose to get Jehovah mercy because we na spend plenty years serving him. But, Jehovah can also remember all the thing dem we been doing for him. (Heb. 6:10) He gave the ransom to us for free. He not give it to pay us for what we been doing in his service. So it wrong to think that because we na do plenty things for Jehovah, then he suppose to forgive us. If we think like that, then we will be saying that Jesus Christ die for nothing. (Compare Galatians 2:21.) The apostle Paul knew that no matter how much work he do for God, God not force to forgive him. If Paul know this one, then why he wor working so hard for Jehovah? He wor doing it because Jehovah forgive him and wor kind to him, not because Jehovah suppose to do it. (Eph. 3:7) Like Paul, we want continue to work hard for Jehovah because we grateful and not because we want him to show us mercy. w25.01 27 ¶5-6
