“Become full-grown in your understanding.”—1 Cor. 14:20.

One thing that can make marry people happy, that when they born healthy baby. Even though parents can be happy to see their young baby, but they not want that child to be baby forever. In fact, if the child not growing it can really worry them. That the same way Jehovah can be happy when we start learning about him. But He not want us to stop there. (1 Cor. 3:1) He want us to “be full-grown” Christians. In the Bible, the Greek word they translate for “full-grown” can also mean “mature,” “perfect,” and “complete.” (1 Cor. 2:6) We can be full-grown or mature Christian when we continue to grow in our relationship with Jehovah, and become spiritual men and women. Even if we feel that we mature, we must never stop growing spiritually.—1 Tim. 4:15. w24.04 2 ¶1, 3

“My tent will be with them, and I will be their God.”—Ezek. 37:27.

If somebody ask you, Jehovah that who to you, wetin you will say? Maybe you will say, ‘Jehovah that my Father, my God, and my Friend.’ They get other titles that you can also use to call Jehovah with. But you na ever think about him as your Host? King David compare the friendship between Jehovah and His loyal worshippers to the relationship between the host and his guests. He ask: “O Jehovah, who may be a guest in your tent? Who may reside in your holy mountain?” (Ps. 15:1) We learn from this verse that we can be Jehovah guests. That mean, we can be his friends. Before Jehovah start creating things, he was all by himself. But later on, he welcome his firstborn Son in His tent. Jehovah was really happy to be Host to his first guest. The Bible say that Jehovah was “especially fond of” his Son. Jesus, His first guest, also “rejoiced before [Jehovah] all the time.”—Prov. 8:30. w24.06 2 ¶1-3

“Zadok [was] a mighty and courageous young man.”—1 Chron. 12:28.

Imagine more than 340,000 men come together to make David king for Israel. For three days, this men them stay in the rocky hill near Hebron and they sing songs to praise Jehovah. (1 Chron. 12:39) One young man name Zadok was among them and maybe plenty people not even notice that he was there. But Jehovah make sure for us to know that Zadok was there. (1 Chron. 12:22, 26-28) Zadok was priest, and he and High Priest Abiathar use to work close together. God also gave Zadok plenty wisdom and help him to understand His will good-good. (2 Sam. 15:27) He was brave. During this last days, Satan really attacking God people more than ever before. (1 Pet. 5:8) So we need to be brave and bear it until Jehovah destroy Satan and his wicked system. (Ps. 31:24) When we do it, we can be brave like Zadok. w24.07 2 ¶1-3

“Adam’s life amounted to 930 years, and then he died.”—Gen. 5:5.

When Jehovah made the first man and woman, he wanted them to be happy. He made them husband and wife, gave them fine place to live and interesting work to do. He tell them to born children and make the whole earth paradise just like the garden of Eden. Only one thing he tell them not to do. He tell them that if they mean it and do it they will die. We know what happen. One wicked angel who not love God or human being, fool them to disobey God. Adam and Eve listen to that wicked angel. They not trust their Father who show them love, so they sin. The thing that Jehovah tell them that what happen. Because they disobey, Adam and Eve suffer for the rest of their life. They got old and die.—Gen. 1:28, 29; 2:8, 9, 16-18; 3:1-6, 17-19, 24. w24.08 3 ¶3

“Become doers of the word and not hearers only.”—Jas. 1:22.

Jehovah and his Son want us to be happy. Psalm 119:2 say: “Happy are those who observe his reminders, who search for him with all their heart.” Jesus also say: “Happy are those hearing the word of God and keeping it!” (Luke 11:28) We who serving Jehovah, we happy people when we read the Bible every day and try to do what we learn. (Jas. 1:22-25) That one important way here we can make Jehovah happy. (Eccl. 12:13) When we do what we read from the Bible, it can make us to get strong friendship with our family members and our brother and sister them. Also, it can help us to avoid plenty problems that people who not obey Jehovah can face. We can agree with what King David say. After singing about Jehovah law, direction, and judgments in one song, he end it by saying: “In keeping them, there is a large reward.”—Ps. 19:7-11. w24.09 2 ¶1-3

He heals the brokenhearted; he binds up their wounds.—Ps. 147:3.

Wetin Jehovah can see when he look at his servants on earth? He can know when we happy and when we feeling bad. (Ps. 37:18) He can be happy when he see that we trying our best to serve him even though we going through problem! Beside that, he really want help us and comfort us. Psalm 147:3 say that Jehovah ‘can bandage the wounds’ of the brokenhearted. This scripture describe how Jehovah can take his own time to take care of those who feeling bad. Wetin we must do to benefit from Jehovah help? Let look at this example. Good doctor can do their best to help somebody who hurt to get better. But for the person to get better, they need to follow the doctor advice good-good. That the same way we need to follow Jehovah direction to benefit from his help. Jehovah can use the Bible to talk with those who feeling discourage, and give them loving advice. w24.10 6 ¶1-2

“They were all wiped off the earth.”—Gen. 7:23.

In the past, our publications talk about what will happen to those who Jehovah judge to be unrighteous. Before, we use to say that people who Jehovah destroy, not get any hope to be resurrected in the future. The Bible get plenty stories about how Jehovah destroy some unrighteous people. For example, during the flood Jehovah destroy everybody except Noah and his family. Also, he tell his people to destroy the seven nations that were in the Promise Land, and he use one angel to destroy 185,000 Assyrian soldiers just in one night. (Deut. 7: 1-3; Isa. 37:36, 37) In each of this story them, you think the Bible give us enough information, for us to say that Jehovah destroy this people forever and they will never come back to life in the future? No. We not know what judgement Jehovah pass on each of this people. And also, we not know whether those who were destroy was having the opportunity to learn about Jehovah and repent. w24.05 3 ¶5-7

“Keep conquering the evil with the good.”—Rom. 12:21.

Jesus talk one story about the widow who continue asking the judge to give her justice. Jesus disciples understand how the woman in the story wor feeling because during that time, they never use to treat the common people fair. (Luke 18:1-5) We our self too can understand how she wor feeling because all of us na go through it before. Today, plenty people can pick and choose, they greedy and they not kind to people. So we can’t be surprise when people not treat us fair. (Eccl. 5:8) But the one that can really hurt us that when our brother or sister not treat us the right way. We know that our brother and sister dem not against the truth. It just that they not perfect. We can learn plenty things from the way Jesus acted when people treat him bad. If we can be patient with people who treat us bad, you not think it will be good for us to be more patient with our brothers and sisters? w24.11 2 ¶1-2

“Where place we will buy bread for all this people to eat?”—John 6:5.

Bread wor the main food for plenty people in Bible time. (Gen. 14:18; Luke 4:4) In fact, it wor so important that the Bible can call “bread” food sometime. (Matt. 6:11; Acts 20:7, study note) Jesus also use bread in two of his miracle dem that plenty people know. (Matt. 16:9, 10) We can find one of them in John chapter 6. When Jesus and his apostle dem just finish preaching, they get in one boat and cross the Sea of Galilee so they can rest. (Mark 6:7, 30-32; Luke 9:10) They go to one quiet place near Bethsaida. But it not stay long, plenty people come there too. Jesus not ignore them. He take his own time to teach them about the Kingdom and he heal the sick people dem. When it wor getting late, the apostle dem wor thinking how all this people wor coming find something to eat. Maybe some of them wor having small food, but most of them needed to go to the village dem to buy food.—Matt. 14:15. w24.12 2 ¶1-2

“The gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.”—Rom. 6:23.

Our first parents, Adam and Eve wor perfect and they wor living in one beautiful garden call paradise. (Gen. 1:27; 2:7-9) They wor having the opportunity to live forever and be happy. But Adam and Eve not listen to God. So God move them from that beautiful garden, and they wor not having the opportunity to live forever again. Wetin they gave their children? The Bible say: “Through one man [Adam] sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” (Rom. 5:12) Adam gave sin to all of us and that the reason why we can die. That sin looking like one big debt that we not able to pay (Ps. 49:8) Jesus compare sins to “debts.” (Matt. 6:12, footnote; Luke 11:4) When we sin, it just like we owing Jehovah and this debt can only be cancel when we die. So if Jehovah wor not coming to look for way to pay for our sin, we wor going to die with no hope to live again.—Rom. 6:7 w25.02 2-3 ¶2-3

“I na show your name.”—John 17:26.

We get the privilege to preach the good news about God Kingdom! That not everybody get this privilege. For example, the time Jesus was on earth, he not allow the wicked spirits to preach about him. (Luke 4:41) Today too, before somebody can start going field service with Jehovah people, that person must be qualify for that privilege. We can show that we grateful for this privilege by preaching to people anywhere and anytime. Like Jesus, we want do our best to preach and teach the truth to people so it can touch their heart. (Matt. 13:3, 23; 1 Cor. 3:6) Like Jesus, Jehovah organization trying their best to help people know God name. One way the organization na do it that through the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. In this translation, they na put God name back to the right place. Now-now, you can find this whole Bible or part of it in more than 270 languages. w24.04 9 ¶8-9

“Her husband rises up and praises her.”—Prov. 31:28.

Some brother dem who happy in their marriage say they can do some thing dem every day to show that they really love their wife. (1 John 3:18) The husband can show his wife that he really love her by doing some small-small thing dem like, holding her hand or hugging her. Maybe he can send her text message and say: “I really missing you” or he can ask her, “How your day going?” From time to time, maybe he can give her gifts to show that he love her. When the husband do this thing dem, he can show that he love and respect his wife and it can make their marriage strong. Husband who love and respect his wife will praise her and encourage her. One way he can do it, that to tell her thank you for all the thing dem she doing to support him. (Col. 3:15) When the husband praise his wife from his heart, it can make her happy. She will feel safe and know that her husband love her and respect her. w25.01 11 ¶15; 13 ¶16

“I, Jehovah, am your God, . . . the One guiding you in the way you should walk.”—Isa. 48:17.

Psalm 15 end with the promise: “Whoever does these things will never be shaken.” This verse help us to see the main reason why Jehovah want us to do all this thing them. Jehovah want us to be happy. So, he give us direction that can make us to get his blessing and protection. Jehovah promise that his guests will enjoy wonderful future. The faithful anointed Christians will go to the “many dwelling places” that Jesus na prepare for them in heaven. (John 14:2) Those who get the hope to live on the earth forever, will see the promise in Revelation 21:3 fulfilling. That great honor for Jehovah to invite all of us to be guest in his tent forever!—Ps. 15:1-5. w24.06 13 ¶19-20

“Give Jehovah the glory due his his name.”—Ps. 96:8.

What honor mean? In the Bible, the word “honor” can mean anything that make somebody great. Jehovah show that he great right after he free the Israelite dem from Egypt. Just think about what happen: Plenty Israelite dem come together near Mount Sinai to hear what their God Jehovah wor coming tell them. Then dark cloud cover the whole mountain. Right away the ground start shaking, lightning and thunder start firing and horn with heavy sound start blowing all over the place. (Ex. 19:16-18; 24:17; Ps. 68:8) Just imagine how the Israelite dem mouth wor full when Jehovah show his power to them. Today, we give Jehovah honor by telling other people about his power and the good-good ways he get and also when we praise him for the thing dem he help us to do.—Isa. 26:12. w25.01 2 ¶2-3

“Jehovah has sent me.”—Num. 16:28.

When the Israelites were going to the Promise Land, one time some men them who were having authority started talking against Moses and complaining about the assignment that Jehovah gave him. They say: “The whole assembly [not just Moses] is holy, all of them, and Jehovah is in their midst.” (Num. 16:1-3) Even though “the whole assembly” was holy to Jehovah, but that Moses God choose to lead His people. So when the people went against Moses, that Jehovah they were really going against. They not focus on what Jehovah wanted, but they focus on getting more power and to be more important. God destroy the people who were leading that group that went against Moses and all the plenty people who join them. (Num. 16:30-35, 41, 49) Today too, we sure that Jehovah can’t be happy with people who refuse to follow direction from his organization. w24.07 11 ¶11

“The vision is yet for its appointed time.”—Hab. 2:3.

We living in the time where plenty people not believe that this world coming end. And some of them can even make fun out of us. (2 Pet. 3:3, 4) Even though we not still know plenty things that will happen, we need to get strong faith that this wicked world will end the right time and Jehovah will take care of us. We must also get strong faith that Jehovah using the “faithful and discreet” slave to guide us today. (Matt. 24:45) When the great tribulation start, maybe we will get direct instructions that will save our life. Now-now, that the time for us to get more trust in the direction we getting from those taking the lead in Jehovah organization. If we can’t trust and obey the direction we getting now-now, it will be hard to obey the one them we will get during the great tribulation. w24.09 11 ¶11-12

“Prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”—Rom. 12:2.

Your children will not get faith in God just because you get faith in him. So maybe your children will start asking questions like: ‘How I know God that real person? I can really believe what the Bible say?’ In fact, the Bible encourage us to use our “power of reason” and to “make sure of all things.” (Rom. 12:1; 1 Thess. 5:21) So, how you can help your children to make their faith strong? Help your children to convince their self about the truth in the Bible. When your children ask questions, use that time to show them how to find the answers by using the research tools dem our organization get. For example, you can use the Watch Tower Publications Index and the Research Guide for Jehovah’s Witnesses. In the Research Guide, under the topic “The Bible,” maybe they can look for “Inspired by God” to see proof that the Bible that not just good book that some men dem write, but that God Word.—1 Thess. 2:13. w24.12 14-15 ¶4-5

These things entrust to faithful men, who, in turn, will be adequately qualified to teach others.—2 Tim. 2:2.

How the elder them can follow Jesus example? They must train and help brothers to qualify to do more work in the congregation. They must even train young brothers. The elder them must not expect the brothers they training to be perfect. They must give this young brother them counsel that will help them to be humble, faithful, and willing to serve other people. But the elder them must do it with love. (1 Tim. 3:1; 1 Pet. 5:5) Jesus not only tell his disciples to preach but also to teach. Maybe the disciples were feeling that they not qualify to do the work. But Jesus was convince that they able to do the work. So he tell them that he really trust them. He say: “Just as the Father has sent me, I also am sending you.”—John 20:21. w24.10 16 ¶15; 17 ¶17

“David . . . , who my heart agree with.”—Acts 13:22.

David wor great king. He wor also musician, writer, warrior, and prophet. He pass through plenty problems. For some years, he was running away from King Saul who wanted to kill him. And when he wor king, he run away again because his son Absalom wanted to overthrow him. Even though David face this problem dem and made some mistakes, he continue to serve God until he die. Jehovah say David wor “a man agreeable to [His] heart.” So it important to listen to David advice! (1 Ki. 15:5) For example, think about the advice that David gave his son Solomon who wor coming take his place. Jehovah choose this young man to build the temple so that pure worship can continue. (1 Chron. 22:5) Solomon wor coming face different-different problems. Wetin David tell him? David tell his son that if he obey Jehovah, he will be successful.—1 Ki. 2:2, 3w24.11 10 ¶9-11

“Commit your way to Jehovah; rely on him, and he will act in your behalf.”—Ps. 37:5.

Any husband who can beat or cuss his wife need to do this thing dem to fix his friendship with his wife and Jehovah. 1. He must know that bad thing he doing and he can’t hide it from Jehovah. (Ps. 44:21; Eccl. 12:14; Heb. 4:13) 2. He must stop treating his wife bad and change his behavior. (Prov. 28:13) 3. He must tell his wife and Jehovah sorry and ask them to forgive him. (Acts 3:19) He must also beg Jehovah to help him to change and to be able to control the way he can think, talk and act. (Ps. 51:10-12; 2 Cor. 10:5; Phil. 2:13) 4. He must act in line with his prayers by hating all type of violence and cussing. (Ps. 97:10) 5. He must go to the elder dem quick-quick to help him. (Jas. 5:14-16) 6. He must make plan that will remind him to not do this wrong thing dem again. w25.01 11 ¶14

“Why you wasting time? Get up and get baptize.”—Acts 22:16.

You really love Jehovah, the one who na give you life and all the good-good thing dem? You want show that you really love him? The best way to do it, that to give your life to him and get baptize. And this one can make you to be part of Jehovah family. Because of that, your Father and Friend will guide you and take care of you because you for him now. (Ps. 73:24; Isa. 43:1, 2) When you give your life to Jehovah and get baptize, it can also open the way for you to get everlasting life. (1 Pet. 3:21) Anything stopping you from getting baptize? If so, that not your one. Plenty people na change their behavior and the way they can think so they can get baptize. Now-now they happy serving Jehovah with zeal. w25.03 2 ¶1-2

With you there is true forgiveness.—Ps. 130:4.

Most of the time, the Bible can compare sin to heavy load. King David talk about his own sins like this: “My errors loom over my head; like a heavy burden, they are too much for me to bear.” (Ps. 38:4) But when somebody repent, Jehovah can forgive their sins. (Ps. 25:18; 32:5) The Hebrew word they translate “forgive” mean to “lift up” or “carry.” So when Jehovah forgive our sins, it just like he take heavy load from our head. The Bible gave another example to show how Jehovah can carry our sins far off from us. Psalm 103:12 say: “As far off as the sunrise is from the sunset, so far off from us he has put our transgressions.” The place the sun can come from and the place the sun can go really far from each other. The two of them will never meet. That the same way Jehovah can take our sins and carry far off from us. This one encourage us that Jehovah can forgive our sins altogether! w25.02 9 ¶5-6

“When you giving gifts to poor people, don’t blow trumpet.”—Matt. 6:2.

After Jesus go back to heaven, the apostle Peter perform one miracle by healing the man who wor cripple from the time he wor born. (Acts 1:8, 9; 3:2, 6-8) Plenty people see this miracle and they come around Peter. (Acts 3:11) Peter not use this situation to make big mouth, even though he grow up in the area where people like to show theirself and they like power business. He gave all the praise to Jehovah and Jesus, not to hisself. He say: “Through [Jesus’] name, and by our faith in his name, this man whom you see and know has been made strong.” (Acts 3:12-16) We can follow Peter example to learn how to be humble. We must do things for other people because we love Jehovah and we love them, not because we want them to praise us. We can show that we humble if we happy to serve Jehovah and do things for our brother dem even if other people not see it.—Matt. 6:1-4. w25.03 10-11 ¶11-12

“Pay constant attention to yourself and to your teaching.”—1 Tim. 4:16.

We can get more zeal for the field service by focusing on our love for Jehovah and for people. (Matt. 22:37-39) Just think about how Jehovah can be happy when he see us doing this work, and how people can be happy when they start studying the Bible! Think about the kind na life people will enjoy in the future when they listen and apply the things we teaching them. (John 6:40) You not able to leave from your house for some reasons? If that what happening to you, focus on what you can do to show love for Jehovah and for people. During the Corona virus time, Samuel and his wife, Dania were force to stay to their house. Even though it was not easy for them that time, they still use to preach to people on phone, write letters, and conduct Bible study on zoom. Even though Samuel and Dania were not able to do more in the field service because of their situation, but they still do their best, and they enjoy it. w24.04 18 ¶15-16

“Who can find a capable wife? Her value is far more than that of corals.”—Prov. 31:10.

Even though happiness not depend on marriage, plenty single Christians, whether young or old, want get marry. But before you start dating, you must get strong relationship with Jehovah, know yourself good-good, and be able to take care of your family needs. (1 Cor. 7:36) It good for you to know the quality them you want see in your mate before you start dating. Or else, you will overlook someone who will be good marriage mate for you, or you will start dating somebody who not good for you. That true, anybody you thinking about marrying must be baptize Christian. (1 Cor. 7:39) But that not every baptize Christian will be good marriage mate for you. So, ask yourself: ‘What my goals in life? What important quality them I want see in my marriage mate? I reasonable with the quality them I want see in my mate?’ w24.05 20 ¶1; 21 ¶3

“Become kind to one another.”—Eph. 4:32.

How people who dating must act when they not agree with each other and how they must handle problems they will be facing from time to time? You think it mean the relationship not working? No. All couples whether dating or marry, can have problems sometime. When two people work together to overcome their problems, it can make their marriage strong. So the way yor work together now when yor get problems will show whether yor marriage will be successful. Ask yourself: ‘We can be calm and show respect when we discussing things? We willing to accept our mistake and try to improve? We quick to wave our right, say sorry and forgive?’ (Eph. 4:31) But, if yor always arguing or yor can’t agree with each other while yor dating, it possible that the situation will not change after yor get marry. If you see that the other person not good for you, ending the dating will be the best decision for the two of yor. w24.05 29 ¶12

“May Jehovah, my Rock, be praised, who trains my hands for battle.”—Ps. 144:1.

We will be good example for other people if we obey Jehovah in everything and if we make decisions base on the Bible. When we study the Bible and make our faith strong, it will help us to remain loyal to Jehovah. We will know false teachings and ideas and we will not allow it to affect us. (Eph. 4:14; Jas. 1:6-8) Also we will be able to help people who facing problems. (1 Thess. 3:2, 3) Elders must know their limit, be sound in mind, organize, and reasonable. The elders can help to make their brothers and sisters heart to lay down and get strong faith in Jehovah by “holding firmly to the faithful word.” (Titus 1:9; 1 Tim. 3:1-3) The elder them can help the publishers to be regular in meeting, field service, and personal study, by their fine example and the way they can take care of the congregation. When the brothers and sisters facing problems that make them to worry, the elders can remind them to rely on Jehovah and focus on his purpose. w24.06 31 ¶16-18

“Repent, because the Kingdom that in heaven near.”—Matt. 4:17.

Throughout his ministry, Jesus teach people about the way his Pa can forgive. Think about the story about the pa and his son who wanted to be on his own. This son decide to live bad life for some time. But he come to his self and come back home. Wetin his pa do? Jesus say when the son “was still a long way off, his father caught sight of him . . . , and he ran and embraced him and tenderly kissed him.” The son wor thinking about telling his pa that he wanted to be one of the worker in the house. But his pa call him “this son of mine” and make him to be part of the family again. His pa say: “He was lost and has been found.” (Luke 15:11-32) When Jesus wor in heaven with his Pa, he use to see how his Pa feel sorry for plenty people who sin and repent. This story show us how Jehovah can really feel sorry for us and comfort us! w24.08 11 ¶11-12

Be sound in mind.—1 Pet. 4:7.

The Christian who sound in mind can try his best to make good decisions that show that he thinking like Jehovah. That person know that nothing in life more important pass his friendship with Jehovah. He can’t take hisself too big because he not feel that he know everything. And he can show that he depending on Jehovah by praying to him all the time. Even if we know how to do certain thing good-good, we must continue praying to Jehovah. So when we get important decisions to make, we must pray to Jehovah to help us because he know what good for us. We want tell Jehovah thank you plenty for making us in the way that we able to show his quality dem. (Gen. 1:26) To talk the truth, we not able to do it exactly like Jehovah.—Isa. 55:9. w25.03 11 ¶13; 13 ¶17-18

[“Love] hopes all things, endures all things.”—1 Cor. 13:7.

Don’t think that other people not grateful. If some people not tell you thank you for what you do for them, maybe you can ask yourself: ‘They really mean it or they just forget to say thank you?’ Maybe they get some reasons why they not say thank you the way we were expecting it. Some people can really be grateful but they not know how to say it. Or maybe they can be shame when people help them, especially if they use to help other people before. But if we really love our brothers and sisters, we will be happy to give to them and we will not think bad about them. (Eph. 4:2) Be patient. When it come to doing good, wise King Solomon say: “Cast your bread on the waters, for after many days you will find it again.” (Eccl. 11:1) From what Solomon say, some people can show that they grateful after long time. w24.09 30 ¶18-19

Reprove before all onlookers those who practice sin, as a warning to the rest.—1 Tim. 5:20.

Sometime, in the congregation the elder dem can make announcement when they reprove somebody. When this one happen, we can continue to be around that person because we know he na change his thinking and conduct. He still part of the congregation and the brother and sister dem need to come around him to encourage him. (Heb. 10:24, 25) But it different from somebody who they na move from the congregation. We “stop keeping company” with that person, “not even eating with such a man.” (1 Cor. 5:11) You think this one mean we must ignore the person altogether? No. That true, we will not spend time with the person. But if that person that our relative or somebody we wor close to before, then each of us can decide whether to invite them for the meeting. w24.08 30 ¶13-14
