On September 6, 2019, in Johannesburg, South Africa, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures was released in the Venda language, and the revised edition of the New World Translation was released in the Afrikaans and Xhosa languages. The following day, in Ostrava, Czech Republic, the revised New World Translation was released in the Czech and Slovak languages. The New World Translation has also been released in the Turkmen language.

The New World Translation has been translated in whole or in part into 184 languages, including 29 complete revisions based on the 2013 edition.
