Tertius

(Terʹtius) [from Lat., meaning “Third”].

The writer or transcriber of Paul’s letter to the Romans, and the only one of Paul’s “secretaries” identified by name. Tertius inserts his own personal greetings to the Romans.​—Ro 16:22.
