Jubal

Jubal

(Juʹbal) [possibly, Ram].

Son of Lamech and Adah; descendant of Cain. As “founder of all those who handle the harp and the pipe,” Jubal may have invented both stringed and wind instruments, or perhaps he ‘founded’ a profession, which gave considerable impetus to the progress of music.—Ge 4:17-21.
