8  Jehovah tell Moses say: 2  “Talk to Aaron and tell-am say, ‘When you light the lamps, make the seven lamps shine for the area wey dey front of the lampstand.’” 3  So na this thing Aaron do: E light the lamps to shine for the area wey dey front of the lampstand, just as Jehovah don command Moses. 4  This one na how them make the lampstand: Them use hammer do the work with gold; from im stem go reach im flowers, na hammer them use do the work. Them make the lampstand according to the vision wey Jehovah don show Moses. 5  Jehovah talk to Moses again say: 6  “Take the Levites from among Israel people and make you make them clean. 7  This one na how you go make them clean: Take water to make them clean* and sprinkle-am ontop them, and them must use razor shave all their body, wash their cloths, and make theirself clean. 8  Then them go take one young bull with im grain offering wey them make with better flour* wey them mix with oil, and you go take another young bull for sin offering. 9  And you go bring the Levites come front of the tent of meeting and gather all Israel people. 10  When you bring the Levites come front of Jehovah, make Israel people put their hands ontop the Levites. 11  And Aaron must give* the Levites as offering wey them de wave for front of Jehovah from among Israel people and them go do Jehovah work. 12  “Then the Levites go put their hands ontop the heads of the bulls. After that one, them go give one as sin offering and the other one as offering wey them de burn to Jehovah to get forgiveness for the Levites. 13  And you go make the Levites stand for front of Aaron and im sons and give* them as wave offering to Jehovah. 14  You must separate the Levites from among Israel people and the Levites go be my own. 15  After, the Levites go come inside to serve for the tent of meeting. This one na how you go make them clean and give* them as wave offering. 16  Them be the ones wey them don give me from among Israel people. I go take them for myself to represent all the firstborn* of Israel people. 17  Every firstborn among Israel people na my own, both man and animal. I don separate them* for myself the day wey I kill every firstborn for the land of Egypt. 18  I go take the Levites to represent all the firstborn among Israel people. 19  I go give the Levites as the ones wey them don give to Aaron and im sons from among Israel people, to do the work for Israel people for the tent of meeting and to get forgiveness for them, so that Israel people no go get punishment because say them come near the holy place.” 20  Moses and Aaron and all the people for Israel do this one with the Levites. According to all the things wey Jehovah don command Moses about the Levites, na the thing wey Israel people do with them. 21  So the Levites make theirself clean and wash their cloths, after that one, Aaron give* them as offering wey them de wave for front of Jehovah. Then Aaron do sacrifice to get forgiveness for them make them dey clean. 22  After that one, the Levites go inside to do their work for the tent of meeting for front of Aaron and im sons. Just as Jehovah don command Moses about the Levites, na so them do with them. 23  Jehovah come talk to Moses say: 24  “This one na for the Levites: Any man wey dey 25 years go up, go join the group of people wey de work for the tent of meeting. 25  But after e don reach 50 years, e go retire from the work of the group and e no go serve again. 26  E fit work for im brothers wey de care for the work for the tent of meeting, but e no go do the work there. This one na wetin you go do about the Levites and their work.”
