Against all the big-big mountainsAnd against all the hills wey high,
Against all the high tower and all the strong wall,

Useless gods go disappear kpatakpata.
And people go enter inside the caves wey dey the rocksAnd inside the holes wey dey for the ground,Because of the fear wey de come when Jehovah appearAnd im glory wey dey great,When e stand up to make the earth shake with fear.
For that day, people go take their useless gods wey them make with silver and goldWey them don make for theirself to de bow down to,And throw them for place wey rats* and bats dey,
So that them go enter inside the holes wey dey the rocksAnd inside the places wey open for the rocks,Because of the fear wey de come when Jehovah appearAnd im glory wey dey great,When e stand up to make the earth shake with fear.
