The Thing Dem Da John Write 21:1-25
21 After this one, Jesus appear to his disciple dem again to the sea they call Ti·be′ri·as. He appear to them like this:
2 Simon Peter, Thomas (who they call the Twin), Na·than′a·el who from Ca′na da in Gal′i·lee, Zeb′e·dee two sons, and two other disciple dem wor together.
3 Simon Peter tell them say: “I going fishing.” They tell him say: “We coming with you.” They got in the boat and went, but da whole night they not catch any fish.
4 But when day wor breaking, Jesus wor standing on the beach, but the disciple dem never knew da it wor Jesus.
5 Then Jesus ask them: “My children, yor get anything* to eat?” They say: “No!”
6 He tell them say: “Yor throw the net on the right side of the boat and yor will catch some.” So they throw it, but they wor not able to haul it because plenty fish wor inside.
7 Then the disciple who Jesus love tell Peter say: “Da the Lord!” When Simon Peter hear da it wor the Lord, he wear his clothes because he wor naked.* And he jump in the sea.
8 But the other disciple dem came in the small boat. They haul the net da wor full up with fish because they wor not far off. They wor just about 300 feet* from land.
9 When they reach on land, they saw fire* with fish on it and bread.
10 Jesus tell them say: “Yor bring some of the fish da yor just catch.”
11 So Simon Peter enter the boat and haul the net on land. The net wor full up with plenty big-big fish. Even though da 153 big-big fish wor in the net, it not tear.
12 Jesus tell them say: “Yor come eat.” Nobody among the disciple dem wor able to ask him say: “You who?” because they knew it wor the Lord.
13 Jesus take the bread and give it to them, he do the same thing with the fish.
14 Da wor the third time Jesus appear to his disciple dem after God bring him back to life.
15 When they finish eating, Jesus ask Simon Peter: “Simon, John son, you love me more than this thing dem?” Peter tell him say: “Yes, Lord, you know I really love you.” He tell him say: “Feed my young sheep.”
16 He ask him again for the second time: “Simon, John son, you love me?” He say: “Yes, Lord, you know I really love you.” He tell him say: “Take care of my young sheep.”
17 He ask him for the third time: “Simon, John son, you really love me?” Peter wor really feeling bad because he ask him for the third time: “You really love me?” So he say: “Lord, you know everything, and you know da I really love you.” Jesus tell him say: “Feed my young sheep.
18 To tell you the truth, the time you wor young, you use to wear your clothes and go anywhere you want go. But when you get old, you will stretch your hands and another person will put your clothes on you and carry you to the place you not want go.”
19 He say this one to show da the kindna way Peter will die, will bring honor to God. After he say this one, he tell him say: “Continue to follow me.”
20 Peter turn around and saw the disciple who Jesus love following them. Da the same disciple who lay back on Jesus chest the time they wor eating the evening food and ask him: “Lord, da who will sell you?”
21 So when Peter saw him, he ask Jesus: “Lord, how about this man?”
22 Jesus tell him say: “If I want for him to remain living until I come back, why you want know about it? For you, continue following me.”
23 So the thing he say spread among the brother dem da this disciple will not die. But Jesus not tell him say he will not die, but he say: “If I want for him to remain living until I come back, why you want know about it?”
24 Da this disciple talk about this thing dem and write about them, and we know the thing dem he say da true.
25 In fact, they get plenty other thing dem da Jesus do, if they wor coming to write about all of them, I not think the world wor coming get space for the book dem* they wor coming write them in.
