Zechariah 13:1-9
13 “For that day, them go open one well give the family of David and the people wey de live for Jerusalem so that them go use-am clean their sins and their dirty.
2 “For that day,” na so Jehovah of armies talk, “I go wipe the names of the idols from the land and them no go remember them again. I go comot the prophets and the spirit wey no clean from the land.
3 And if any man talk again about wetin go happen for future, im papa and im mama wey born-am go tell-am say, ‘You go die, because you don use Jehovah name talk lie-lie things.’ And im papa and im mama wey born-am go chuk-am enter because say e de talk wetin go happen for future.
4 “For that day when each of the prophets de talk wetin go happen for future, im vision go de make-am shame and them no go wear the cloth wey prophets de wear wey them use hair make, wey them de use deceive people.
5 And e go talk say, ‘I no be prophet. I be person wey de do farm work, because one man buy me when I dey young.’
6 And if somebody ask-am say, ‘Which wounds be this wey dey your body?’* E go talk say, ‘Na wounds wey I get when I dey the house of my friends.’”*
7 “O sword, wake up make you attack my shepherd,Attack the man wey be my friend,” na so Jehovah of armies talk.
“Attack the shepherd, make the sheep scatter;And I go turn my hand against the people wey no reach anything.”
8 Jehovah talk say, “When them divide the whole land to three parts,Them go destroy two parts and them go die,But them go leave the third part for the land.
9 And I go make the third part pass through fire;I go clean them the way them de clean silver,I go test them the way them de test gold.
Them go call my name,And I go answer them.
I go talk say, ‘Them be my people,’
And them go talk say, ‘Jehovah na our God.’”
