1-2. How plenty people can feel because they part of the field service group?

 YOU remember the day you wor qualify to be publisher? You wor really happy because on da day, you become part of one big group of people who praising Jehovah name. (Ps. 148:​1, 2, 12, 13) But on da day, maybe you also become part of one small group they call field service group. Da some brother and sister dem in your congregation can be in this group. When we part of the field service group, it can really help us to preach the good news about the Kingdom “all over the world.”—Matt. 24:14.

² How you feel to be part of the field service group? One sister name Wendy a say: “My field service group na help me in different-different ways. For example, it na help me to learn how to preach and teach good-good. It also na encourage me to do thing dem da will help me to draw more close to Jehovah. And I na make plenty good-good friends.” One brother name Rich say: “Da special work here for me to be field service group overseer.” Just how some publishers can help Bible student to make their decision to get baptize, da the same way the field service group overseer can help those in his group to continue to make their friendship with Jehovah strong even after they get baptize. One sister name Dinah say: “It really wonderful to be part of the field service group. Everybody in this group just looking like my family.”

3. Wetin we will talk about in this article?

 ³ In this article, we will talk about the work the group overseer and his assistant get to do. We will also see how they can help the brother and sister dem da in their group. Then, we will talk about how we ourself too can help the brother and sister dem da in our field service group. Finally, we will see how we can benefit from the field service group.

THE FIELD SERVICE GROUP OVERSEER AND HIS ASSISTANT

4. (a) What the main work the field service group overseer can do? (b) How the field service group overseer can take care of his group? (See the box “ Ideas Da Can Help Group Overseers.”)

⁴ The field service group overseer da elder b who the body of elders choose to help the brother and sister dem in the group to make their friendship with Jehovah strong. He can also help them to be able to preach and teach good-good. How the group overseer can do this one? First, he can show da he get interest in each person in his group. (Prov. 27:23) And he can try to talk with them all the time to make sure da they alright. Like da, he can help them to get good friendship with Jehovah, encourage them when they really feeling discourage, and help them in other different-different ways. (Prov. 12:25; Isa. 32:2; Jas. 2:​15-17) Second, he can encourage all the brother and sister dem in the group to continue to do the preaching work. He can try his best to go preach with his group, especially on the weekend. From time to time, he can walk with each publisher in his group to encourage them and train them. The day he know da he will not be able to go field service, he can ask his assistant or another qualify brother to carry the group out. Third, he can help to train baptize brother dem so they can do more in the congregation.  (1 Tim. 3:1) He can tell them thank you for the hard work they doing, give them advice from the Bible da can help them to improve in different-different ways. He can also help to train them so they can become ministerial servants and elders in the future. The work the field service group overseer can do really important. So when the body of elders choosing somebody to be field service group overseer, they can choose elder who can do this work good-good.

5. What some problem dem some group overseers can face?

⁵ Plenty things can make it hard for the field service group overseer to help the brother and sister dem in his group. Let see what one group overseer name Jörg from Germany say. He get different-different assignment in the congregation. He say: “It not easy to be group overseer and at the same time be doing other work dem in the congregation. Because of da, it can really be hard for me to help everybody in my group.” One 70-year-old elder name Abel from Uganda say: “Because we not get plenty elders and ministerial servants in our congregation, plenty publishers can be in each of our field service group dem. So it can make it hard for me to encourage each publisher in my group the way I want do it.” And one elder name Obed from Suriname say: “I like training other people. But to train people, it can take plenty time and energy and it can even take long time to see the result. So because of da, it can be hard for me to train other people.” But wetin can help elders who facing this kindna problem dem?

6. When the field service group small, how it can help the group overseer?

⁶ If it possible, the field service group mon be small. Like da it will help the group overseer to know the people in his group good-good. And he will be able to help them to stay close to Jehovah. But some congregation not get plenty elders. So wetin they can do for the group to be small? Instead of making the group large, the body of elders can decide to use ministerial servant to take care of some group. Like da, the group overseer will be able to do the more important work. And da work da to help the brother and sister dem in his group to continue to be faithful to Jehovah.

7. If you group overseer in congregation da not get plenty elders, what you can do to help everybody in the group? (1 Peter 5:2) (Also see the picture.)

⁷ If you group overseer in congregation da not get plenty elders, try to train your assistant so he can help you. (Read 1 Peter 5:2.) Assign your assistant to do some work. For example, from time to time, you can ask him to conduct the field service meeting and carry the group out in the territory. It also important for two of yor to pray and talk about how each publisher in the group doing. Always find time for you and your assistant to visit each person in the group. Before yor can go  for the visit, two of yor can talk about how yor will encourage the person. And after the visit, you can tell him where he do well and what he need to work on. All this training can help your assistant to be group overseer in the future. (2 Tim. 2:2) You can also ask other mature Christians in the group to help to train other publishers in the field service. For example, pioneers and other publishers who been preaching for plenty years can work with new publisher. They can teach them how to start talking with people, how to do return visit and how to conduct Bible study. Now let talk about three things da all of us can do to help our field service group.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT YOUR FIELD SERVICE GROUP?

8. How you can support your field service group? (Romans 1:12)

⁸ Preach with your group. When you preach together with your brother and sister dem, yor can encourage each other. (Read Romans 1:12.) It can help you to not be too scare when you preaching to people and it can also help you to be safe when yor preaching to certain area. If the work you doing making it hard for you to preach with the group, you not think it will be good for you to ask your bossman to change your schedule? Maybe he will change the day or the time da you can work. (Neh. 2:​4-6) If old age or sickness making it hard for you to be with the group in person, it will be good for you to talk with your group overseer about it. Maybe he will be able to help you to join the group on Zoom, and for you to preach on the phone or do letter writing. You young person who alright in your body, but it still hard for you to go field service every week? If so, it will be good for you to plan to go field service with somebody in your group every week. Also, you need to think about what really important to you in life and how you can use your time the right way. (Rom. 12:11; Col. 4:5) If you try your best to be in field service every week with the group, everybody in your group will benefit. So pray to Jehovah to help you, because da he the one can make you to want do something and he can give you the power to do it.—Phil. 2:13.

9. How we can help the brother and sister dem in our field service group to know da we love them? (Romans 12:13)

⁹ Welcome other people and share with them. When we welcome the people dem da in our group and share with them, it can help them to know da we love them. (Read Romans 12:13.) For example, we can allow the brother dem to use our house for field service meeting. In some congregations, each group get time to welcome the visiting speaker and share their food with him. After the meeting, some brother and sister dem in the group can come together to eat and encourage each other even if the visiting speaker not able to join them. One special pioneer sister name Sarah say: “I can be worrying about the food I will prepare when I invite other people to my house. So for me to not worry too much, I can try to not make it too big. I can focus more on knowing other people instead of hurting my head to prepare plenty food. When we help everybody in our field service group to be like family, it will help us to get close to Jehovah and to each other.—Neh. 8:10; Acts 20:35.

10. Wetin we can do to learn how to preach and teach good-good? (Proverbs 1:5; 27:17) (Also see the picture.)

¹⁰ Learn how to preach and teach good-good. When we learn how to preach and teach good-good, we will want stay long in field service and we will enjoy preaching with our  group. So wetin can help you to learn how to preach and teach good-good? Ask somebody in your group to help you. (Read Proverbs 1:5; 27:17.) Tell your group overseer some of the thing dem you want learn how to do in field service. He will try his best to help you. You can also ask somebody in your group who been preaching for plenty years to help you. Da just what one sister name Heather who wor having shame face do. She say: “I ask one pioneer to show me how to make return visit. She wor kind to me and she show me love. She make plan for two of us to work together every week. She even help me to start studying the Bible with one of my return visit. I too happy da I ask her to help me, because now-now I enjoying my field service again.” So it clear da all of us can do plenty thing dem to support our field service group.

HOW YOU CAN BENEFIT FROM YOUR FIELD SERVICE GROUP?

11-12. How your field service group can help you? Give example.

¹¹ It can help us to get strong friendship with Jehovah. The field service group can help each of us to get strong friendship with Jehovah. For example, the group overseer can help to take care of people who Jehovah really love and who need more help like, sisters who husband dem na die, children who not get ma and pa and old people. (1 Thess. 2:8; Jas. 1:27) Also when you go field service with your group, it can help you to learn how to preach and teach good-good. Baptize brother dem can get training to do more work in the congregation to help everybody.—1 Tim. 3:10.

She say: “Most of the time, my ma never use to go field service on the weekend with her field service group, because my pa wor against the truth. But he use to allow me to go. So one older pioneer sister got friendly with me and she use to go field service with me most of the time. She teach me to learn how to preach good-good and help me to do more in the congregation. 13. How our field service group can also help us? (Also see the picture.)

¹³ It can help us to get friend dem who love us and can support us. When we work together in field service with brother and sister dem in our group, it can help us to get close to them. (Phil. 1:27) When the field service group small, it can help people who get shame face or people who not like talking plenty to  get close to other people. (2 Cor. 6:13) Those in our group can help us when we sick, when we feeling bad, when we worrying or when somebody we love die from us. (1 Thess. 5:14) The more we get close to the great tribulation, da the more we will need close friends. (Matt. 24:21) When we know da our brother and sister dem love us and will help us, it can be easy for us to bear our problem dem.—Prov. 17:17.

14. How our field service group can help us when disaster happen or when we really need help?

¹⁴ It can help us when disaster happen or when we really need help. The brother and sister dem in our field service group can help us when we face problem dem like: natural disasters, bad sickness da can spread quick-quick, or persecution. When thing dem like this happen, our group overseers can be ready to help us. For example, when disaster happen, they can call each family in their field service group to know whether they need medicine, food, water, clothes or sleeping place. When the group overseers know this one, then they will be able to help the brother and sister dem with what they need. Also the field service group overseers and the Congregation Service Committee can come together to know who dem need more help so da they can help them. Ehn it clear da our field service group can really help us?

15. Wetin all of us who serving Jehovah want?

¹⁵ We na learn da Jehovah family really big. He get plenty faithful angels in heaven who part of his family. And he get more than nine million people on earth who part of his family, and the number continue to grow everyday. (Zech. 8:23; Rev. 5:11) All of us who serving Jehovah whether in heaven or on earth, want for more and more people to hear the good news about God Kingdom! (Rev. 14:​6, 7) So let all of us try our best to be part of our field service group. It can help us to praise our God Jehovah with our whole heart.—Ps. 111:1
