“Ukunyamekela Umoya Kuthetha Ubomi Noxolo”

“Abo bavumelana nomoya, [babeka iingqondo zabo] kwizinto zomoya.”ROMA 8:5.

1, 2. Kutheni amaKristu athanjisiweyo enomdla okhethekileyo kweyabaseRoma isahluko 8?

MHLAWUMBI ukhe wayifunda eyabaseRoma 8:15-17 ngexesha lesikhumbuzo sokufa kukaYesu esibakho minyaka le. Ezo vesi zicacisa indlela amaKristu azi ngayo ukuba athanjisiwe—umoya oyingcwele ungqinelana nomoya wawo. Ivesi yokuqala kweso sahluko ithetha ngabo “bamanyene noKristu Yesu.” Kodwa, ngaba eyabaseRoma isahluko 8 ithetha nabathanjiswa kuphela? Okanye ngaba ikwathetha namaKristu anethemba lokuphila emhlabeni?

2 Abona bantu kuthethwa nabo kwesi sahluko ngamaKristu athanjisiweyo. Afumana ‘umoya ngoxa elinde ngenyameko ukwenziwa oonyana, ukukhululwa kwimizimba yawo ngentlawulelo.’ (Roma 8:23) Aza kuba ngoonyana bakaThixo ezulwini. Oko kunokwenzeka ngenxa yokuba eye abhaptizwa, waza uThixo wasebenzisa intlawulelo, wawaxolela izono zawo waza wawavakalisa engamalungisa noonyana bakhe bokomoya.Roma 3:23-26; 4:25; 8:30.

3. Kutheni sigqiba kwelokuba abo banethemba lokuphila emhlabeni nabo bafanele babe nomdla kweyabaseRoma isahluko 8?

3 Nakuba kunjalo, nabo banethemba lokuphila emhlabeni bamele babe nomdla kweyabaseRoma isahluko 8 kuba uThixo,  ukusa kumkhamo othile, ubajonga njengamalungisa. Oku sikubona koko uPawulos wakubhalayo kwisahluko esingaphambilana sale ncwadi. Kwisahluko 4, uthetha ngoAbraham. Loo ndoda yokholo yayiphila ngaphambi kokuba uYehova awanike uMthetho amaSirayeli nangaphambi kokuba uYesu afele izono zethu. Kodwa, uYehova wabona ukuba uAbraham wayenokholo olomelele ngendlela ekhethekileyo waza wamjonga njengelungisa. (Funda eyabaseRoma 4:20-22.) UYehova unokuwajonga njengamalungisa namaKristu athembekileyo anethemba eliseBhayibhileni lokuphila ngonaphakade emhlabeni. Ngoko, anokuncedwa licebiso elinikwa amalungisa kweyabaseRoma isahluko 8.

4. EyabaseRoma 8:21 ifanele isenze sizibuze ntoni?

4 EyabaseRoma 8:21 iyasiqinisekisa ukuba ihlabathi elitsha liza kubakho nyhani. Le vesi ithembisa ukuba “indalo ngokwayo iya kukhululwa ekukhotyokisweni kukonakala ize ibe nenkululeko ezukileyo yabantwana bakaThixo.” Ngaba nawe uza kube ulapho, uze uwufumane loo mvuzo? Ngaba uqinisekile ukuba uza kuwufumana? EyabaseRoma isahluko 8 inamacebiso aza kukunceda uqiniseke.

“UKUNYAMEKELA INYAMA”

5. Yintoni le ibaluleke kakhulu uPawulos awayethetha ngayo kweyabaseRoma 8:4-13?

5 Funda amaRoma 8:4-13. EyabaseRoma isahluko 8 ibonisa umahluko phakathi kwabo bahamba “ngokuvumelana nenyama” kunye nabo bahamba “ngokuvumelana nomoya.” Abanye basenokucinga ukuba kuthethwa ngomahluko okhoyo phakathi kwabo basenyanisweni kunye nabo bangekho kuyo okanye umahluko phakathi kwamaKristu nabo bangengawo. Kodwa ke, uPawulos wayebhalela “abo baseRoma, abaziintanda kuThixo, nababizelwe ukuba ngabo bangcwele.” (Roma 1:7) Ngoko, uPawulos wayethetha ngomahluko owawukho phakathi kwamaKristu awayehamba ngokuvumelana nenyama nalawo awayehamba ngokuvumelana nomoya. Wawuyintoni umahluko?

6, 7. (a) EBhayibhileni igama elithi “inyama” lidla ngokubhekisela entwenini? (b) Wayebhekisela entwenini uPawulos xa wasebenzisa igama elithi “inyama” kweyabaseRoma 8:4-13?

6 Kuqala makhe sithethe ngegama elithi ‘inyama.’ Wayethetha ngantoni uPawulos? IBhayibhile idla ngokulisebenzisa kwizinto ezininzi igama elithi ‘inyama.’ Ngamanye amaxesha sube ithetha  ngenyama le yemizimba yethu. (Roma 2:28; 1 Kor. 15:39, 50) Isenokubhekisela nasekuzalaneni. UYesu ‘waphuma kwimbewu kaDavide ngokwasenyameni,’ ibe yena uPawulos wathi amaYuda ‘azizalamane zakhe ngokwasenyameni.’Roma 1:3; 9:3.

7 Okwabhalwa nguPawulos kwisahluko 7 kusinika ufifi lokuba wayethetha ngantoni kweyabaseRoma 8:4-13 xa wayethetha ‘ngenyama.’ Wanxulumanisa ‘ukuvumelana nenyama’ kunye ‘neenkanuko zesono ezisebenza kumalungu ethu.’ (Roma 7:5) Oku kusityhilela intsingiselo yamazwi athi ‘abo bahamba ngokuvumelana nenyama,’ awathi uPawulos “babeka iingqondo zabo kwizinto zenyama.” Wayethetha ngabantu abalawulwa nabasoloko becinga ngeminqweno yabantu abangafezekanga. 8. Kutheni kwakufanelekile ukulumkisa amaKristu athanjisiweyo ngokuphila “ngokuvumelana nenyama”?

8 Inoba uyazibuza ukuba kutheni uPawulos eza kugxininisa into yokuba amaKristu athanjisiweyo efanele alumkele ukuphila “ngokuvumelana nenyama.” Ngaba amaKristu namhlanje anokuba kwingozi efanayo, nangona uThixo ewamkele njengabahlobo bakhe yaye esithi angamalungisa? Okubuhlungu kukuba nawuphi na umKristu usenokuqalisa ukuhamba ngokuvumelana nenyama enesono. Ngokomzekelo, uPawulos wabhala ngabanye abazalwana baseRoma ababengamakhoboka ‘ezisu zabo,’ mhlawumbi bekhanuka isondo okanye ukutya, iziselo, okanye ezinye izinto. Abanye babo ‘babelukuhla abo bangenabuqhokolo.’ (Roma 16:17, 18; Fil. 3:18, 19; Yude 4, 8, 12) Ungalibali kwanento yokuba eKorinte kwakukho umzalwana owayehlala “nomfazi kayise.” (1 Kor. 5:1) Siyavakala ke isizathu sokuba uPawulos alumkise amaKristu ‘ngokunyamekela inyama.’Roma 8:5, 6.

9. Yintoni awayengalumkisi ngayo uPawulos kweyabaseRoma 8:6?

9 Sisabalulekile nanamhlanje eso silumkiso. Emva kweminyaka ekhonza uThixo, umKristu usenokuqalisa ukubeka ingqondo yakhe kwizinto zenyama. Apha asithethi ngomKristu okhe acinge ngokutya, impangelo, ukuzonwabisa okanye ukuthandana. Kuqhelekile ngomntu okhonza uThixo ukuba acinge ngezo  zinto. UYesu wayesitya ibe wayebatyisa nabanye abantu. Wayekhe azihlaziye. NoPawulos wabhala wathi isondo nokuthandana ziyafuneka emtshatweni.

Izinto othetha ngazo zibonisa ukuba unyamekela ntoni, umoya okanye inyama? (Jonga isiqendu 10, 11)

10. KweyabaseRoma 8:5, 6 athetha ntoni amazwi athi “babeka iingqondo zabo”?

10 Wayesithini ke uPawulos xa wayethetha ‘ngokunyamekela inyama’? Igama lesiGrike uPawulos alisebenzise apha lithetha “ukubeka ingqondo nentliziyo yakho kwinto ethile, ukucinga ngayo ukuze uyicebe, ibe eyona nto igxininiswayo sisimo sengqondo onaso esingoyena nobangela wendlela ocinga ngayo.” Ubomi babo baphila ngokuvumelana nenyama bulawulwa yiminqweno yomntu onesono. Omnye umphengululi uthi ngeli gama lisetyenziswe kumaRoma 8:5: “Iingqondo zabo zithe phithi zizinto zenyama, ibe basoloko bethetha ngazo, bezileqa kwaye bezityibela.”

11. Sinokuquka ntoni kumbuzo othi, ‘Yintoni eyona nto ibalulekileyo kum?’

11 Kwakufanelekile ke ngoko ukuba amaKristu aseRoma azihlole ukuba yintoni eyona nto yayibalulekile kuwo. Ngaba ayethe phithi ‘zizinto zenyama’? Kubalulekile ukuba nathi sizihlole. Yintoni eyona nto ibalulekileyo kuthi, ibe yintoni esisoloko sincokola ngayo? Yintoni esisoloko sithe phe emva kwayo? Abanye basoloko becinga ngokungcamla iiwayini ezahlukeneyo, ukuhombisa izindlu, ifashoni, ukutyala imali, ukukhenketha nezinye izinto ezinjalo. Akukho nto imbi ngezo zinto ibe kuqhelekile ukuzenza. Ngokomzekelo, uYesu wakha wenza iwayini, ibe uPawulos wathi uTimoti makasele “iwayini encinane.” (1 Tim. 5:23; Yoh. 2:3-11) Kodwa ngaba uYesu noPawulos ‘babesoloko bethetha, besela yaye betyibela’ iwayini? Ngaba babethe phithi yiyo, ‘besoloko bethetha’ ngayo? Akunjalo. Thina, yintoni eyona nto ibalulekileyo kuthi?

12, 13. Kutheni singafanele sikuthathe lula oko siyibeka kuko ingqondo yethu?

12 Kubalulekile ukuzihlola. Ngoba? Kuba uPawulos wathi: “Ukunyamekela inyama kuthetha ukufa.” (Roma 8:6) Asingomdlalo lo—kukufa elukholweni nokufa ngokoqobo kwixesha elizayo. Kodwa ke, uPawulos wayengathethi kuthi umntu oqalisa “ukunyamekela inyama” isiphelo sakhe sinye qwaba, kukufa. Loo mntu usenokutshintsha. Khawucinge ngala ndoda yaseKorinte eyayiziphethe kakubi ithe phithi ‘yinyama’ yaza yagxothwa ebandleni. Nakuba kwakunjalo, yayinokutshintsha ibe nangoku yatshintsha. Yayeka ukuhamba ngokuvumelana nenyama yaza yabuyela kwindlela efanelekileyo.2 Kor. 2:6-8.

13 Ukuba loo mntu wakwazi ukutshintsha, nomKristu namhlanje angatshintsha, ingakumbi ongekoyeli kakhulu ekuphileni ngokuvumelana nenyama njengale ndoda yaseKorinte. Ngokuqinisekileyo, isilumkiso sikaPawulos ngesiphelo esinokumfikela umntu ‘onyamekela inyama’ sifanele siwakhuthaze amaKristu ukuba atshintshe!

“UKUNYAMEKELA UMOYA”

14, 15. (a) Yintoni esinokuyenza endaweni ‘yokunyamekela inyama’? (b) Yintoni okungakuthethiyo “ukunyamekela umoya”?

14 Emva kokuba lo mpostile esilumkise ‘ngokunyamekela inyama’ wenza esi siqinisekiso: “Ukunyamekela umoya kuthetha ubomi noxolo.” Ngumvuzo oncumisayo ngokwenene lo—ubomi noxolo! Sinokuwufumana njani?

15 “Ukunyamekela umoya” akuthethi kuthi umntu umele aziphakamise. Akuthethi ukuba kufuneka asoloko ecinga yaye ethetha ngeBhayibhile okanye ngendlela yena amthanda ngayo uThixo nangethemba analo. Khumbula kaloku ukuba  uPawulos kunye nabanye abantu benkulungwane yokuqala ababemkholisa uThixo babephila ubomi obuqhelekileyo. Babesitya besela. Abaninzi kubo babetshatile beneentsapho ezonwabileyo, besebenza ukuze bakwazi ukuphila.Marko 6:3; 1 Tes. 2:9.

16. Nangona uPawulos wayezenza nezinye izinto, yintoni eyona nto yayibalulekile kuye?

16 Sekunjalo, ezo zinto zazingeyiyo eyona nto ibalulekileyo kwabo bakhonzi bakaThixo. Emva kokuba ithe umsebenzi kaPawulos yayikukwenza iintente, le ngxelo isixelela ngeyona nto eyayibalulekile kuye: Wayesoloko exakeke ngumsebenzi wokushumayela nokufundisa. (Funda iZenzo 18:2-4; 20:20, 21, 34, 35.) Wakhuthaza abazalwana noodade baseRoma ukuba nabo benze loo misebenzi. Eyona nto eyayibalulekile kuPawulos yayikukushumayela nokufundisa. AmaRoma kwakufuneka amxelise ibe nathi sifanele senze okufanayo.Roma 15:15, 16.

17. Bunganjani ubomi bethu xa ‘sinyamekela umoya’?

17 Siya kufumana ntoni ukuba senza loo misebenzi? Impendulo ekumaRoma 8:6 icacile, ithi: “Ukunyamekela umoya kuthetha ubomi noxolo.” Oku kuthetha ukuba sivumela umoya oyingcwele ube nefuthe kwiingqondo zethu size senze ngendlela uThixo afuna nacinga ngayo. Sinokuba nethemba lokuba xa “umoya” uyeyona nto ibalulekileyo kuthi, siya kuba nobomi obanelisayo nobunenjongo. Ekugqibeleni siya kufumana ubomi obungunaphakade ezulwini okanye emhlabeni.

18. “Ukunyamekela umoya” kusenza sibe noxolo njani?

18 Makhe sithethe ngesi siqinisekiso sithi, ‘ukunyamekela umoya kuthetha uxolo.’ Abantu abaninzi abakwazi ukuba noxolo lwengqondo. Bakhangela into esesinayo thina, uxolo lwengqondo. Olu xolo lusinceda senze konke esinako ukuze sibe noxolo namalungu eentsapho zethu nawebandla. Siyazi kakuhle into yokuba thina nabazalwana noodadewethu asifezekanga. Ngenxa yoku, kusenokuhlala kubekho iingxaki, yaye xa oko kusenzeka sifundiswe ukuba sisebenzise icebiso likaYesu elithi: ‘Xolelana nomzalwana wakho.’ (Mat. 5:24) Sinokukwenza ngokulula oko xa sikhumbula ukuba loo mzalwana okanye udade naye ukhonza “uThixo onika uxolo.”Roma 15:33; 16:20.

19. Singaba naluphi uxolo olukhethekileyo ukuba ‘sinyamekela umoya’?

19 Kukho nolunye uxolo olungaphaya kokuqonda. Xa ‘sinyamekela umoya’ siba noxolo noMenzi wethu. UIsaya wabhala amazwi awayesebenza ngexesha lakhe kodwa anentsingiselo engakumbi namhlanje: “Abo bazimasekileyo uyabalondoloza [Yehova], bahlale benoxolo, kuba bakholose ngawe.”Isa. 26:3; funda amaRoma 5:1.

20. Kutheni unombulelo ngecebiso elikwabaseRoma isahluko 8?

20 Enoba sithanjiswe ngomoya okanye sinethemba lokuphila kwiparadesi esemhlabeni ngonaphakade, simele sibe nombulelo ngecebiso eliphefumlelweyo elikwabaseRoma isahluko 8. Simele sibe nombulelo omkhulu ngokukhuthazwa ukuba singavumeli “inyama” ibe yeyona nto iphambili kubomi bethu! Kunoko, siyayibona indlela ekububulumko ngayo ukuphila ngokwesi siqinisekiso siphefumlelweyo: “Ukunyamekela umoya kuthetha ubomi noxolo.” Ukuba senjenjalo siya kufumana umvuzo ohlala uhleli kuba uPawulos wabhala oku: “Kuba umvuzo isono esiwuhlawulayo kukufa, kodwa isipho uThixo asinikayo bubomi obungunaphakade ngoKristu Yesu iNkosi yethu.”Roma 6:23.
