Xa Intombi Yakho Efikisayo Inestres

Intombi yakho ithi inestres. Ungakholelwa, uzibuza oku: ‘Eneminyaka eyi-13 nje? Usazela phi istres emncinci kangaka!’ Ngaphambi kokuba wothuke kakhulu, funa izizathu zokuba intombi yakho ibe nestres.

Xa intombi yakho iqala ngqa ukuya exesheni. Intombazana uKathleen ithi: “Nangona umama wayendixelele ngoko kwakuza kwenzeka kum, kodwa ukuqala kwam ukuba sexesheni kwandothusa kakhulu. Ndandihlamba kaninzi ngemini kuba ndandiziva ndingcolile. Ibe ngaphezu koko, oobhuti bam abathathu babehlekisa ngam. Kubo olu tshintsho lwalusenzeka emzimbeni wam lwaluhlekisa.”

Ukufuna ukuthandwa ngootshomi bakho. UMarie ona-18 uthi: “Ngokuya ndandina-12 ukuya ku-14 ndandikufuna kakhulu ukuthandwa ngootshomi, kuba esikolweni sam abantwana babebagezela abo bangazenziyo izinto  abazenzayo.” UAnita, oneminyaka eyi-14 uthi: “Abantwana abakwiminyaka yam bayafuna ukuthandwa ngootshomi babo, kodwa xa bengakuhoyi kuba buhlungu gqitha.”

Sukuyifumba intombi yakho ngomsebenzi nangezinye izinto. Incwadi ethi Teach Your Children Well ibonisa ukuba ulutsha oluxakeke ngokugqithiseleyo “ludla ngokuba neempawu zestres, njengokuphathwa yintloko nasisisu.”—Umgaqo weBhayibhile: Filipi 1:9, 10.

Qinisekisa ukuba intombi yakho iphumla ngokwaneleyo. Ulutsha ludla ngokungalali ngokwaneleyo. Ngoko ke, ukuba intombi yakho ayilali ngokwaneleyo loo nto inokuyenza ingacingi kakuhle yaye kube nzima kuyo ukumelana nestres.—Umgaqo weBhayibhile: INtshumayeli 4:6.

Fundisa intombi yakho indlela yokulwa nestres. Amanye amantombazana aye ajime ukuze ahlise istres. Nayo iBhayibhile iyatsho ukuba “ingqeqesho yomzimba iyingenelo.” (1 Timoti 4:8) Amanye amantombazana athi ukuzibhala izinto eziwakhathazayo kuyawanceda. UBrittany oneminyaka eyi-22 uthi: “Xa ndandimncinane ndandizibhala phantsi iingxaki endingakwaziyo ukuzicombulula. Oko kwakundinceda ndazi eyona nto ndiyicingayo ngengxaki ethile, ibe loo nto yayisenza kube lula ukuyilungisa okanye ndiyilibale.”

Yiba ngumzekelo. Umelana njani wena nestres? Ngaba uzixakekisa ngemisebenzi emininzi uze utatazele njengoko uzama ukuyenza?
