Ukulotjhisa Kunamandla

“LOTJHANI! Ninjani?”

Asingabazi ukuthi sekukanengi utjho amezwi la. Mhlamunye ukulotjhisa kwakho bekukhambisana nokubamba isandla namkha ukusingatha. Amasiko namezwi wokulotjhisa angahluka kuye ngeendawo kodwana indlela esisekelo yokulotjhisa iyafana. Kuhlekuhle, umuntu ongalotjhisiko angathathwa njengomuntu onganathando nonganasimilo.

Kodwana akusiwo woke umuntu othanda ukulotjhisa. Abanye barhudula iinyawo nakufuze balotjhise ngebanga lokuba neenhloni namkha ukuzinyaza. Abanye-ke banobudisi bokulotjhisa abantu bezinye iinhlanga, amasiko namkha iinzinda. Nanyana kunjalo, ngitjho nokulotjhisa ngamagama ambalwa kungaba nomphumela omuhle khulu.

Akhuzibuze: ‘Ukulotjhisa kungaba namuphi umphumela? IliZwi lakaZimu lingangifundisani ngokulotjhisa?’

LOTJHISA “YOKE IMIHLOBO YABANTU”

Ngesikhathi umpostoli uPitrosi amukela uKorneliyasi, omumuntu wokuthoma ongasimJuda ukuba mKrestu, wathi: “UZimu akakhethi.” (IzE. 10:34) Kamuva, uPitrosi watlola ukuthi uZimu “ufisa bona boke batjhuguluke.” (2 Pit. 3:9) Ekuthomeni singacabanga ukuthi amezwi la akhuluma ngomuntu osafunda iqiniso. Kodwana uPitrosi wakhuthaza namaKrestu wathi: “Hloniphani yoke imihlobo yabantu, thandani yoke ihlangano yabafowethu.” (1 Pit. 2:17) Mbala, sizabe senza kuhle nasilotjhisa abanye kungakhathaliseki ukuthi bamhlobo bani, banamasiko anjani namkha bavela esizindeni esinjani. Leyo kungenye indlela esitjengisa ngayo ukuthi siyabahlonipha begodu siyabathanda.

Umpostoli uPowula wakhuthaza amalunga webandla wathi: “Yamukelanani, njengombana noKrestu anamukela.” (Rom. 15:7) UPowula wakhuluma ngokunqophileko ngamaKrestu aba ‘lisizo eliqinisako’ kuye. Namhlanjesi abafowethu nabodade bakutlhoga khulu ukuqiniswa njengombana siqalene nokuhlaselwa okukhulu kwabantu bakaZimu.—Kol. 4:11, ftn; IsAm. 12:12, 17.

Iimbonelo eziseBhayibhelini zitjengisa ukuthi ukulotjhisa kungenza okungaphezu kokwenza umuntu azizwe amukelekile.

KUYAKHUTHAZA BEGODU KUTJENGISA ITHANDO

Nakufika isikhathi sokuthi ukuphila kweNdodana kaZimu kudluliselwe esibelethweni sakaMariya, uJehova wathumela ingilozi bona iyokukhuluma naye. Ingilozi yathoma ngokuthi: “Lotjha, wena othandwa khulu, uJehova unawe.” UMariya “warareka khulu,” ngombana bekangazi ukuthi kubayini ingilozi ikhuluma naye. Ibona lokho, ingilozi yathi: “Ungathukwa Mariya, ngombana ufumene umusa kuZimu.” Yahlathulula ukuthi kuyihloso kaZimu bona uMariya abelethe uMesiya. Kunokuthi asolo ararekile, ngokuzithoba uMariya wathi: “Ngiyincekukazi kaJehova! Akwenzeke njengokutjho kwakho.”—Luk. 1:26-38.

Bekulilungelo elikhulu ngengilozi ukuba sithunywa sakaJehova; kodwana azange izibone ingcono khulu bona ingakhuluma nomuntu onesono. Yathoma ngokulotjhisa. Singafundani kilokho? Kufuze sikulungele ukulotjhisa nokukhuthaza. Ngamezwi ambalwa, singasiza abanye besibaqinisekise ukuthi mbala bayingcenye yabantu bakaJehova.

UPowula bekazi abantu abanengi emabandleni we-Asia Minor neYurobhu. Eencwadini zakhe banengi ababiza ngamagama nakalotjhisako. Lokho sikubona kusukela kwebeRoma isahluko 16. Lapho, uPowula ulotjhisa amaKrestu amanengi. Ukhuluma ‘ngodadwethu’ uFoyibe, akhuthaze ibandla ‘bona limamukele eKosini ngendlela efanele abacwengileko  begodu limnikele nanyana yini ayitlhogako.’ UPowula ulotjhisa uPriska no-Akhwila, nakakhuluma ngabo uthi: “Abathokozwa ngimi kwaphela kodwana nangiwo woke amabandla weentjhaba.” Ulotjhisa nabanye abangakadumi khulu namhlanjesi—“u-Epayinetosi wami engimthandako” kunye ‘noTrayifina noTrayifosa, abafazi abasebenza budisi eKosini.’ Kwamambala, uPowula bekakuthanda ukulotjhisa abafowabo nabodadwabo.—Rom. 16:1-16.

Cabanga ukuthi kwabathabisa kangangani ukwazi ukuthi bebakhunjulwa kuhle kangaka. Ukuthandana kwabo, nokuthanda kwabo uPowula kwaqina. Ukuzwa uPowula alotjhisa ngethando kufanele ukuthi kwakhuthaza amanye amaKrestu, kwawasiza adzimelela ekukholweni. Kwamambala ukulotjhisa okutjengisa ukuthi sinendaba nomuntu esimlotjhisako begodu siyambuka ngokuhle akwenzako kuqinisa ubungani, kubumbanise neenceku zakaZimu ezithembekileko.

UPowula nakafika edoyelweni leenkepe ePhothiyoli nakasendleleni etjhinga eRoma, amaKrestu walapho eza esewula azomhlangabeza. Wathi nakawabona asesekude “wathokoza uZimu begodu waba nesibindi.” (IzE. 28:13-15) Ngezinye iinkhathi angekhe sikghone ukulotjhisa ngomlomo, kodwana singalotjhisa ngokumomotheka namkha ngokuphakamisa isandla. Kodwana ngitjho nalokho kungamvuselela umuntu ogandelelekileko namkha odanileko.

UKWAKHA ISISEKELO

Ngeenkhathi zomfundi uJakopo, amanye amaKrestu akha ubungani nabantu abangalotjhi uZimu, ngokunjalo azenza izitha zakhe. Yeke kwatlhogeka bona uJakopo awakhalimele kabuhlungu. (Jak. 4:4) Kodwana tjheja indlela uJakopo athoma ngayo incwadakhe:

“UJakopo, isigqila sakaZimu neseKosi uJesu Krestu, eentjhabeni ezili-12 ezirhatjhekele eendaweni ezihlukahlukeneko: Lotjhani!” (Jak. 1:1) Asisoli ukuthi kwaba lula ebafundini bencwadakhe ukwamukela iseluleko sakhe nabezwa indlela abalotjhisa ngayo nokuthi bebafana naye phambi kwakaZimu. Kilokhu sifunda ukuthi ukulotjhisa ngehlonipho kungenza kube lula ukukhuluma ngitjho nangezinto ezibudisi.

Indlela yokulotjhisa ezokuthinta ihliziyo yomuntu ingaba yifitjhani, kodwana kufuze ibe ngephuma ehliziyweni nenethando. Lokho kuliqiniso ngitjho nanyana ubona ngasuthi abantu abakutjheji. (Mat. 22:39) Ngelinye ilanga udade othileko e-Ireland wafika eWolweni isifundo sesizokuthoma. Yeke warhaba wangena ngaphakathi, kodwana umfowethu othileko wamomotheka, wathi: “Lotjha dadwethu. Kuhle ukukubona.” Udadwethu lo wazihlalela phasi.

Ngemva kweemveke ezimbalwa, waya kumfowethu owamlotjhisako loya, wamtjela ukuthi sekusikhathi aqalene nobujamo obubudisi ekhaya. Wathi: “Ihliziywami beyibuhlungu khulu mhlokha, kangangokuthi ngapheze ngangezi nesifundweni. Angasakhumbuli ukuthi bekukhulunywa ngani mhlokho, kodwana ngisakhumbula indlela owangilotjhisa ngayo. Yangeza ngazizwa ngamukelekile. Ngiyathokoza.”

Umfowethu lo bekangakatjheji ukuthi indlela alotjhise ngayo ibe namandla kangangani nanyana beyiyifitjhani. Uthi: “Ngathaba udadwethu nakangitjela ukuthi kumthabise kangangani ukwenza kwami umzamo wokumlotjhisa, ngitjho nanyana kukuncani engakutjhoko.”

USolomoni watlola wathi: “Nawuthumela inzuzwakho phezu kwamanzi, kungenzeka uyifumane godu ngemva kwamalanga amanengi.” (UMtj. 11:1) Nasilinga ngamandla ukulotjhisa abanye, khulukhulu amaKrestu esikholwa nawo, siwenza azizwe kamnandi, nathi siyathaba. Yeke asingawathathi kancani amandla wokulotjhisa.
