Kufanele Na AmaKrestu Athandazele Eendaweni Zokuthandaza?

THANDAZA ‘NGOMOYA NANGEQINISO’

Bekatjho ukuthini uJesu nakazakuthi kufuze sithandaze ‘ngomoya nangeqiniso’?

Ingcoco uJesu aba nayo nomfazi omSamariya iveza indlela uZimu azizwa ngayo ngokumlotjha eendaweni eziqalwa njengezicwengileko. Njengombana uJesu gade akhamba arabhula eSamariya, wajama waphumula emthonjeni ebewuhlanu kwedorobha leSikhari. Lapho, wacoca nomfazi obekazokukha amanzi emthonjeni. Njengombana bacoca, umfazi lo waveza umehluko wekolo omkhulu okhona hlangana kwamaJuda namaSamariya. Wathi: “Abokhokho bethu bathandaza entabeni le, kodwana nina maJuda nithi iJerusalema yindawo lapha kufanele sithandazele khona.”—Jwanisi 4:5-9, 20.

Intaba umma lo ebekakhuluma ngayo yiNtaba iGerizimu, egade pheze imakhilomitha ayi-50 ukusuka  etlhagwini yeJerusalema. Khona entabeni leyo, amaSamariya akha ithempeli ebewagidinga kilo iminyanya enjengeyePhasika. Nanyana kunjalo, kunokobana uJesu azifake epikiswaneni ebeyiphakathi kwamaJuda namaSamariya, wavele wathi emfazini ebekakhuluma naye: “Yewungikholwe mfazi, isikhathi siyeza lapha uBaba angekhe athandazwa entabeni le namkha eJerusalema.” (Jwanisi 4:21) Kwamambala amagama lawo ahlaba ikomo, khulukhulu njengombana abuya emlonyeni womJuda nje! Alo-ke kubayini ukulotjha uZimu ethempelini leJerusalema bekuzokuphela?

UJesu waraga wathi: “Kodwana isikhathi siyeza, begodu sebesifikile, lapha abathandazako bazakuthandaza uBaba ngommoya nangeqiniso ngombana uBaba uthanda abamlotjha njalo.” (Jwanisi 4:23) Besele kumakhulu weminyaka amaJuda aqala ithempeli leJerusalema njengendawo yawo eyihloko yokuthandaza kuZimu. Bewahlala athatha ikhambo lokuya khona kathathu qobe mnyaka ukuyokwenzela uZimu wabo uJehova umhlatjelo. (Eksodusi 23:14-17) Kodwana uJesu wathi koke lokho gade kuzokutjhentjha nokobana labo “abathandazako” bazokuthandaza “ngomoya nangeqiniso.”

Ithempeli lamaJuda gade kusisakhiwo esibonakalako esakhiwe endaweni ethileko. Kodwana umoya neqiniso akusizizinto ongazibona ngelihlo lenyama, begodu angeze zahlonywa endaweni ethileko njengomakhiwo obonakalako. Ngalokho-ke, uJesu bekahlathulula bona lokha amaKrestu wamambala nakalotjha uZimu ngeqiniso angekhe asadzimelela esakhiweni namkha endaweni ethileko, kungakhathaliseki bona kuseNtabeni iGerizimu, ethempelini leJerusalema namkha kwenye indawo ethathwa njengecwengileko.

Nakacoca nomfazi omSamariya, uJesu wathi “isikhathi” sokutjhentjha kwendlela yokulotjha uZimu “siyeza.” Bekuzokwenzeka nini lokho? Isikhatheso safika lokha uJesu nakaphelisa indlela yamaJuda yokulotjha uZimu ebeyisekelwe emThethweni kaMosi ngesikhathi anikela ngokuphila kwakhe bona kube mhlatjelo. (Roma 10:4) Kodwana uJesu wabuye wathi: “Isikhathi . . . sebesifikile.” Kubayini atjho njalo? Kungombana bekanguMesiya, nokuthi besele athomile ukubuthelela abafundi egade bazokulalela naku umlayo olandelako: “UZimu umumoya, labo abamlotjhako kufuze bamlotjhe ngomoya nangeqiniso.” (Jwanisi 4:24, NW) Kutjho ukuthini-ke ukuthandaza kuZimu ngomoya nangeqiniso?

Ngesikhathi uJesu athi kufuze sithandaze ngomoya, bekabonisa ukuthi kufuze sinqotjhiswe mumoya kaZimu ocwengileko, osisiza nokobona sikghone ukuzwisisa imiTlolo kuhle. (1 Korinte 2:9-12) Begodu iqiniso ebekakhuluma ngalo lilwazi lamambala ngalokho okufundiswa liBhayibheli. Ngalokho-ke, nasilotjha uZimu ngokwendlela efunwa nguye nevumelana nalokho okufundiswa liBhayibheli begodu sinqotjhiswa mumoya  ocwengileko, uzosamukela kunokobana siyokuthandaza endaweni ethileko okuthiwa icwengile.

INDLELA AMAKRESTU OKUFUZE AZIQALE NGAYO IINDAWO ZOKUTHANDAZA

AmaKrestu kufuze abe namuphi umbono ngamakhambo amade wokuya eendaweni zokuthandaza? Nasele siqala umlayo kaJesu wokuthi abalotjha uZimu kufuze bamlotjhe ngomoya nangeqiniso, kuyakhanya-ke ukuthi ukuyokuthandaza eendawenezo akutjho litho emehlweni kaBabethu wezulwini. Ngaphezu kwalokho, iBhayibheli liyasitjela ukuthi uZimu uzizwa njani ngokusetjenziswa kweenthombe nasimlotjhako. Lithi: “Balekelani ukulotjha abosingazimu,” libuye lithi, “tjhidani kibosingazimu.” (1 Korinte 10:14; 1 Jwanisi 5:21) Nje-ke, umKrestu weqiniso angeze ayokuthandaza kinanyana ngiyiphi indawo ekhuthaza ukulotjha abosingazimu. Ngalokho-ke, kungakhathaliseki bona ngiyiphi indawo yokuthandaza ethathwa njengecwengileko, amaKrestu weqiniso akukafaneli ayokulotjha uZimu kiyo.

Kodwana lokhu akutjho bona iliZwi lakaZimu liyakulahla ukuba nendawo ethileko yokuthandaza, yokufunda namkha yokuzindla. Indawo yokuhlangana eyakhiwe kuhle nenesithunzi iyasiza ekufundeni nekucoceni ngezinto ezimalungana noZimu. Begodu ayikho into embi ngokwenza ilitje lesikhumbuzo lomuntu ohlongakeleko. Ukwenza lokhu kumane kukutjengisa ukuthi ohlongakeleko uyakhunjulwa namkha uyathandwa. Kodwana nangabe indawo enjalo siyithatha njengecwengileko namkha silotjhe kiyo abosingazimu namkha iinsalela ezingokomlando zekolo sizabe sitjhayisana namezwi kaJesu.

Yeke, akutlhogeki bona uyokuthandaza endaweni ethileko ethathwa njengecwengileko ngombana ukholelwa ukuthi uZimu uzoyizwa bhedere imithandazwakho. UZimu angekhe athabe ngawe nawenza njalo namkha akubusise nawungathatha ikhambo uye eendaweni ezinjalo zokuthandaza. IBhayibheli lisitjela bona uJehova uZimu ‘iKosi yezulu nephasi, ayihlali emathempelini enziwe ngezandla.’ Nanyana kunjalo, lokhu akumenzi abe kude nathi, ngombana singathandaza kuye nanyana singaba kuphi, asizwe njengombana “angasikude ngitjho nakubani wethu.”—IzEnzo 17:24-27.
