The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures was released in Guarani on August 16, 2019, in Asunción, Paraguay. On the same day, the New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures was released in the Kwanyama language in Ongwediva, Namibia, and in the Laotian language in Nong Khai, Thailand. The New World Translation has been translated in whole or in part into 184 languages.
