Frequently Asked Questions—JW Broadcasting (Online)

We support most modern operating systems and browsers. You will get the best results if you install the latest version of your browser.

The following browsers are not supported:

  • Internet Explorer version 10 and earlier. If you use a computer with an older operating system that does not support later versions of Internet Explorer, please install a different browser.

  • Opera Mini

The following mobile operating systems are supported:

  • Android 4.0 and newer

  • Windows 8.1 and newer

  • iOS 7.0 and newer (limited support for older iOS devices)

There are several ways to do this, including the following:

  • JW Broadcasting is available for Roku, Apple TV (4th generation), and Amazon Fire TV.

  • If you have an Apple computer or mobile device and an older Apple TV, you can use AirPlay to see the videos on your TV.

  • If you have a Google Chromecast device, you can cast (send) video to your TV from a Chrome browser. While playing a video on your computer or device, click the Cast icon.

  • You may be able to connect your computer, tablet, or smartphone to your TV using an HDMI, DVI, VGA, or S-Video connection. Consult the manuals for your computer or mobile device and your TV to find the best option.

  • Some smart TVs have a built-in web browser, which may allow you to open tv.jw.org and play videos. However, we are not able to support every available model of smart TV. Therefore, JW Broadcasting videos may not play on certain models.

A friend who is familiar with JW Broadcasting may be able to help you. If not, please contact our nearest branch office.
