Floods in Colorado

In mid-September, heavy rainfall in the state of Colorado, USA, caused flooding that closed down streets, damaged homes, and killed at least 8 people. Reports indicate that none of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the region were either killed or injured. However, about 70 Witness families in the hardest-hit areas were evacuated from their homes. Witness elders in the affected areas are working to care for the immediate needs of the evacuated families, assisting them to receive temporary accommodations.
