UPDATE—SISTERS CONVICTED | “Jehovah Is Confident in Me”
On October 29, 2025, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk City Court in the Sakhalin Region convicted Sisters Olga Kalinnikova and Larisa Potapova. They were given suspended prison sentences of 5 years and 4 years and 11 months respectively. They are not required to go to prison at this time.
On July 10, 2025, the Sakhalin Regional Court overturned the conviction of Sisters Olga Kalinnikova and Larisa Potapova. Their case will now be sent for retrial.
On March 25, 2025, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk City Court in the Sakhalin Region convicted Sisters Olga Kalinnikova and Larisa Potapova. They were each given a suspended prison sentence of two years and six months and are not required to go to prison at this time.
