UPDATE—BROTHER SENTENCED TO FORCED LABOR AFTER APPEAL | Honored to Defend Jehovah’s Name

On March 13, 2025, following an appeal, the Altai Territory Court changed the suspended prison sentence previously imposed on Brother Sergey Lukin. He will now serve four years and six months of forced labor. He will be required to live in a correctional facility and perform work at an assigned location in the community.

On December 11, 2024, the Biysk City Court of the Altai Territory convicted Brother Sergey Lukin. He was given a suspended prison sentence of four years and six months. He is not required to go to prison at this time.
