Titus 2:1-15

2  Σὺ Youδὲ butλάλει be speakingἃ which (things)πρέπει is befittingτῇ to theὑγιαινούσῃ being healthfulδιδασκαλίᾳ. teaching. 2  Πρεσβύτας Old menνηφαλίους soberεἶναι, to be,σεμνούς, serious,σώφρονας, sound in mind,ὑγιαίνοντας being healthfulτῇ to theπίστει, faith,τῇ to theἀγάπῃ, love,τῇ to theὑπομονῇ. endurance. 3  πρεσβύτιδας Old womenὡσαύτως as-thusἐν inκαταστήματι behaviorἱεροπρεπεῖς, ones becoming to sacred place,μὴ notδιαβόλους devilsμηδὲ not-butοἴνῳ to wineπολλῷ muchδεδουλωμένας, having been enslaved,καλοδιδασκάλους, teachers of what is fine, 4  ἵνα in order thatσωφρονίζωσι they may be making mentally soundτὰς theνέας young [women]φιλάνδρους fond of male personsεἶναι, to be,φιλοτέκνους, fond of children, 5  σώφρονας, sound in mind,ἁγνάς, chaste,οἰκουργούς, workers at home,ἀγαθάς, good,ὑποτασσομένας subjecting themselvesτοῖς to theἰδίοις ownἀνδράσιν, male persons,ἵνα in order thatμὴ notὁ theλόγος wordτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godβλασφημῆται. may be blasphemed. 6  τοὺς Theνεωτέρους younger [men]ὡσαύτως as-thusπαρακάλει be you encouragingσωφρονεῖν· to be sound in mind; 7  περὶ aboutπάντα all (things)σεαυτὸν yourselfπαρεχόμενος having self besideτύπον typeκαλῶν of fineἔργων, works,ἐν inτῇ theδιδασκαλίᾳ teachingἀφθορίαν, uncorruptness,σεμνότητα, seriousness, 8  λόγον wordὑγιῆ healthfulἀκατάγνωστον, not to be known down,ἵνα in order thatὁ the (one)ἐξ out ofἐναντίας contrarinessἐντραπῇ might be turned inμηδὲν nothingἔχων havingλέγειν to be sayingπερὶ aboutἡμῶν usφαῦλον. vile (thing). 9  δούλους Slavesἰδίοις to ownδεσπόταις mastersὑποτάσσεσθαι to be subjecting selvesἐν inπᾶσιν, all (things),εὐαρέστους well-pleasingεἶναι, to be,μὴ notἀντιλέγοντας, contradicting, 10  μὴ notνοσφιζομένους, setting apart for selves,ἀλλὰ butπᾶσαν allπίστιν faithἐνδεικνυμένους showing for selves withinἀγαθήν, good,ἵνα in order thatτὴν theδιδασκαλίαν teachingτὴν the (one)τοῦ of theσωτῆρος Saviorἡμῶν of usθεοῦ of Godκοσμῶσιν they may be adorningἐν inπᾶσιν. all (things). 11  ᾿Επεφάνη Was made to appearγὰρ forἡ theχάρις undeserved kindnessτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godσωτήριος [it] savingπᾶσιν to allἀνθρώποις, men, 12  παιδεύουσα [it] instructingἡμᾶς, us,ἵνα in order thatἀρνησάμενοι having deniedτὴν theἀσέβειαν irreverenceκαὶ andτὰς theκοσμικὰς worldlyἐπιθυμίας desiresσωφρόνως with soundness of mindκαὶ andδικαίως righteouslyκαὶ andεὐσεβῶς well-reveringlyζήσωμεν we should liveἐν inτῷ theνῦν nowαἰῶνι, age, 13  προσδεχόμενοι awaitingτὴν theμακαρίαν happyἐλπίδα hopeκαὶ andἐπιφάνειαν manifestationτῆς of theδόξης gloryτοῦ of theμεγάλου greatθεοῦ Godκαὶ andσωτῆρος of Saviorἡμῶν of usΧριστοῦ of ChristἸησοῦ, Jesus, 14  ὃς whoἔδωκεν gaveἑαυτὸν himselfὑπὲρ overἡμῶν usἵνα in order thatλυτρώσηται he might loose by ransomἡμᾶς usἀπὸ fromπάσης allἀνομίας lawlessnessκαὶ andκαθαρίσῃ he might cleanseἑαυτῷ to himselfλαὸν peopleπεριούσιον, being overly much,ζηλωτὴν zealousκαλῶν of fineἔργων. works. 15  Ταῦτα These (things)λάλει be you speakingκαὶ andπαρακάλει be you encouragingκαὶ andἔλεγχε be you reprovingμετὰ withπάσης allἐπιταγῆς. enjoinder.μηδείς No oneσου of youπεριφρονείτω. let be minding around.
