Psalm 87:1-7
(Of the sons of Korah; a psalm; a song.)
87 His foundation on sacred mountains
2 Jehovah loves, the gates of Sionmore than all the abodes of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are to be spoken of you,city of God! (Selah)
4 I will mention Rahab and Babylon for those who know me;here are Philistia and Tyre, with Nubia,this one was born there.
5 But of Sion it shall be said “Man upon man was born in her,” and he, the Most High, holds her fast.
6 Jehovah will count in the register of peoples“This one was born there.” (Selah)
7 And singers as well as dancerswill all shout of you.
